As mentioned by other reviewers, the value wasn’t specified on the cards. I had ordered each of mine in the same denomination and just wrote it on the backs so the recipients would know, but I imagine it would have been easy enough for them to look up if I hadn’t.

Cute Idea

Do be careful to realize that the claim code and serial number are 2 separate things. I first tried to redeem it by the serial number, but that didn't work. After peeling off the thing in back, I found a "claim code." That worked.

Gift amount labeled

This is a nice gift to slip into a card. What I especially liked was that the dollar amount was stamped on the card. With other Amazon cards, I need to write the amount with a permanent marker. Convenient for the gift receiver to know what you got them without searching the receipt or looking up the number.

Nice Way to Give a Birthday Gift Card

This was the perfect way to personalize my gift card that was included in a birthday basket for a 12 year old girl. She loved it! Plus I received the gift card quickly.

Gift cards are always a go-to for the holidays. Especially for that person that you don't really have any great gift ideas for. I know some people don't like to gift them because the lack of "originality" but everybody likes to receive them! These things work great for items you want or even when something comes up and you need to make a purchase and remember you have a little extra to spend. Save yourself the time and lines of shopping and save your friend/relative the fake smile/hug/thank you for the item they either already have, or would have bought if they wanted it.

They work!

I was concerned after hearing of other people getting gift cards for Christmas and the cards didn't work. I am happy to report that I bought two and both kids reported that they were thrilled with the decision of an Amazon card (one having an Amazon fire and wanting new books and the other a tech nut) and that they were easily redeemed. Thank you Amazon. I will not hesitate to buy them again when in need of a gift. (Oh, and I took advantage of the buy $50. in gift cards and get a $15. one for you!) I enjoyed my purchase too!

Good for a Stocking Stuffer

Envelope is really cute. The size is 4" x 2" & has a string so you can hang it or attach it to the top of a gift. I ordered so I can give as a small gift, attach to a gift as an extra, or as a stocking stuffer. I ordered the $10 card (looks like $10 is the min), but you can order higher denominations. The gift card has the amount printed on the front. The back of the envelope has a see thru window opening so you can see the bar code, & 2 blank lines you can use to write a message.
