Works great in MES analogue.
Works like a charm. Got about 4 1/2 hours of good smoke. Microwaved pellets for one minute and lit with a propane torch. Let fire burn for a minute and blew out and placed in my analogue MES. I pulled out the chip tray and the water tray as I didn't need them. I also pulled the drop pan underneath so that single small hole might provide adequate air draft. I did not put any food in as this was a test run. Well it worked great and I couldn't be happier.

Great for first time pellet smokers!
I have been using this guy every time I smoke my food now. It just soo easy to fill this thing up with some pellets, close the door, and have smoke for 8 hours. I’m using a master built electric smoker, and I just put this in the bottom of it. It says to keep away from drippings (I guess they are worried about the liquid putting the pellets out) but I have never had an issue just leaving it on the bottom of the smoker. I use this over the built in wood chip tray my smoker has. Im not a competitive smoker, I just like food so if your like me and just want to smoke your food with as little effort as possible, this is your go to. I also never thought about the fact that you can put this in your grill to smoke your burgers if you wanted to. I think the next one I get will be a little bigger in hopes to produce a little more smoke.

Forget what Treager says, this is how you cold smoke cheese in a Treager
I am beyond happy with this product. I have a Treager grill and had been trying my hand at cold-smoking cheeses using their method, which is a pan of cheese in a pan of ice in the grill on the smoke settings. It was a major pain to try to keep the temperature anywhere close to right. I bought this smoker tube and and made a temporary modification to the grill to defeat the hot rod and the auger and just use the fan. Found out that the Treager will shut the fan of if the temperature is below a preset temperature for over 10 minutes. Again, a headache trying to keep is going for several hours. I finally backed off the over-thinking and simply put the smoking tub on the drip pan close to the opening where the grease drains. There was plenty of air available to keep the pellets smoking. The ambient temperature of the smoke was relatively constant and in the 87 to 95 degree range. When the temperature got over 90, I simply put a 4 x 8-inch baking dish on the grate directly over the tube and threw a handful of ice cubes in it. The temperature was back to 90. I filled the tube with pellets and it is still going after three hours. Forget Treager's advice on how to cold smoke cheese; put this tube in the grill and the job is done.

Super easy to use and foolproof.
This is the easiest way to smoke things. It will work in your typical gas or charcoal grill. You can even use it in a large pot. You simply fill it with pellets light it and let it burn for a few minutes to make sure that it's lit and then you simply place it in your grill, close the hood and let it smoke. It will produce a good smoke for two to three hours without ever having to reload or fuss with it.

Nice Product. A full tube lasts me about 4.5-5 hours with quality pellets, less with cheaper Walmart variety. Adds a good level of additional smoke. I fill it with pellets and let it overhang about 5 inches off the prep shelf on the side of my grill. Hit it with the propane torch for 15 seconds or so until a flame appears. Let the flame burn out or blow out after a couple of minutes. Then put the tube in the grill. The end on the self doesnt get hot so it is easy to pick up. I have recommended to friends and would buy again.

I have used it twice and got very good smoke both times
I have tried to get smoke from a stainless smoker box and aluminum foil smoke pouches, but neither worked very well. Then, I learned about pellet smoker tubes and thought I would give it a shot. I bought this product because it is about half the prices of the "name brand" pellet tube. So far, I have used it twice and got very good smoke both times. BUT, you have to follow the directions or it won't work very well. When lighting the pellets with a propane torch, you have to keep the flame on the pellets for quite a while, making sure the end is well lit and generates a solid flame. Then, you have to keep that flame lit for about 10 minutes to ensure enough of the pellets are burning. If you blow out the flame too soon, the tube will probably die out after a few minutes. You may have to put the torch to it a few times until you get the pellets burning well. Both times I have used the tube, I got very good smoke for about 4 hours. The company says it works for up to 5 hours; maybe the type of pellets I used burn faster, but I am very happy with 4 hours of good smoke. Highly recommend this product.

Really adds smoked flavor
This little smoke tube I orignally bought for my small grill. This weekend I used my Hog cooker to cook a pork sholder, 2 racks of ribs and leg quaters for a group of us before the big game. I decided since I haven't even tried this smoke tube to fill it with pellets and put it on the grating where the draft of smoke would go over the meat. I Have 2 cookers like this but this one cooks with wood and the other propane and it's the one I used. I had to refil the tube 1 time in the almost 8 hours of cooking! We were shocked at how just that 1 tube actually left a smoke ring and smoked flavor in all the meat! I would have been impressed if it would have done so on my small deck grill. I was thinking it might give the meat a decent smoked flavor on the small grill, but it actually worked on my large cooker! I am going to purchase another one for use on the big grill to make sure the whole grill will get the smoked results. It saves me from spending all nigh feeding coals to my other wood fired cooker to keep the temp right and having to buy a small one for the deck witch will save me hundereds!! A+++++++

Worked great in my propane grill.
The UPS guy showed up about 3pm and I ran to the freezer, grabbed a sirloin and some haddock fillets. It was a rush job, thawed the steak in the waver, thawed the fillets in warm water as they were shrink wrapped. I had my wood pellets purchased from last year. I filled the tube, tried to light it on the stove indoors. BAD IDEA! Filled the kitchen full of smoke, ran outdoors placed it in the grill and it went out. Tried to light it with a cigarette lighter, no luck. Went back and read the instructions and found a propane torch quickly got it up and smoking, just like they suggested. Back inside, I seasoned the sirloin with some Montreal seasoning from Samsclub. Poked the steak with a fork a few hundred times both sides to tenderize. Seasoned the haddock with Tuscan garlic seasoning from Samsclub. Ran outdoors placed all meats on the upper racks for smoking for about and 1 1/2 hrs. Remember, I am a guy, nothing fancy. Cooked up some instant turkey stuffing, hungry Jack mashed potatoes and a 15 year old bag of frozen peas. Cooked the 1" thick steak about 7-8 minutes each side on the lower rack. It came out med rare and with perfect grill scorching on the surface. Some of the best tasting food we had had in years. The Haddock should have been cooked less time, but aside from that, the taste was excellent.

Great Grill Accessory
First of all Im a BBQ.Smoker junkie. I love the taste of grilled and smoke food and use the grill or smoker at least 4 times a week (even in the snow and rain!). We have 2 grills and 2 smokers. I am a sucker for trying every accessory I can get my hands on for my hobby. This one stood out above other accessories I've bought, Very nice construction. Has a solid feel. Very easy to use, just fill set in smoker and light one end with a torch. One suggestion for the product (that none of the manufacturers have yet) is to have a screw on end cap so pellets dont fall out if you over fill it. to use it as is you have to not completely fill the last two inches so the pellets slope to the bottom. I use it in the electric smoker for overnight cooks. Gives me 4-5 hours of smoke in hte electric smoker while I get my beauty sleep. :)

AMAZING PRODUCT
Ok first off, I was always told that you cant cook ribs and such and slow smoke.them on a gas grill, well that's False!!!!!! My friend is a professional grill cooker. He has 4 different types of cooking items on his deck, 1 charcoal grill, 1 smoker, 1 gas grill, and a pellet feeder grill, his choice to use is all depending on what hes cooking. But he is the one who has Lizzq pellet tube, and he let me borrow it, told me the easy directions on how to use it, and presto, I made a full rack of dam tasty ribs... this product is made extremely well. Works fantastic, and what I really liked was, this company actually placed a Thank You, inside the box. This might seem like a no big deal to you, but think about it. How often do you go to a store, restaurant, or shopping, and the staff replies, Thank You for your business?? Hardly ever. So there for, I appreciate this company for putting out a fantastic product and actually saying thank you for your purchase
