These and absolutely "Great"
The best outdoor timer that I have. I have had several different timers in the past and this is the absolute best, it also has two outlets unlike all other remote and a added bonus is that it comes wit a remote and I ordered 3 timers for different Bug Lights and the remotes all have different signals which means I can program each with different settings using the remote rather then having to do it manually. I highly recommend these remotes as they are the best the I ever had.

Nice to control outside devices from house
It is great being able to control our waterfall features from the house. Turn them on when we want, as well as off as needed. This timer will remotely control devices (unless you attach an adapter like I did to allow it to control three devices). You can turn the devices on or off; or set set the timer to go on for 2-4-6-8 hours at sunset. I have not tested the full reach of the remote, but it works fine from our house to the control outside that is housed in a weatherproof box. If you need a remote control timer, I can highly recommend this product.

this works like a charm
My wife loves the item, doesn't have to go out each time to turn on our fountain, this works like a charm. I experienced one issue with the plug design, its the new design and the new code outlets will only allow permit two plugs of this design tin the same outlet. But, there is always a work around, small extend with a regular plug head resolved my need.

I expected to be disappointed ....
I plugged it into a receptacle on the side of my house. I then plugged the end of a 100 foot outdoor extension cord into it and ran the cord, underground to my newly erected light pole. Up the interior of the light pole, where I cut off about 20 foot of the cord and plug. I then wired it to my new outdoor pole lamp and mounted the lamp to the post. Inside my house, I picked up the remote and pushed the "on" button. To my amazement, it worked. I have tried all the functions, using the sensor to activate the dusk to dawn feature, with turn off in 2 hr., 4 hr., 6 hr. and 8 hr. Each worked perfectly! I never expected it to work, and certainly not as flawlessly as it is doing. I am a believer!! Anyone with the need for this device, take it from me, it will exceed your wildest imagination. It just saved me hundreds of dollars worth of my electrician's time. He won't be happy, but I sure am.

Very heavy duty remote control . . .
A device made for a very specific task; remote controlling outdoor electrical devices. Very nicely engineered for this. Waterproof and two outlets. Also handles maximum current for a circuit, fifteen amps. Well thought out: it can work simply on-off, or automatically run for two, four, six, or eight hours before shutting down. This is VERY USER FRIENDLY, just hit the appropriately marked button on the remote control. Range is at least a hundred feet. I bought one to control a huge Harbor Freight pedestal fan that cools my house at night. After a satisfactory test period I purchased a second (different frequency) to control a second identical fan downstairs. These things easily handle the current demands of the fans. These things will work perfectly for controlling outdoor lights, pumps, cooling devices; just about anything. They also can be set up to turn on automatically at dark, and off again in the morning. So, not necessary to be home to make things work. Five stars. I love these things.

EXCELLENT TIMER
This timer is an excellent product. It is well built with a heavy cord so it should withstand the weather rather well. I appreciate its definition of "dusk" and unlike some of the other timers I have, it does not come on too early. The unit can be completely controlled via the remote and the remote does work! Again, unlike many other timers, this remote is well constructed and does have a 100 foot range. My works from inside my home - a welcomed featured on rainy nights. I do have one word of caution - if you are buying two, be advised that if the channel is the same on each unit, they cannot be operated separately. If you want both units to work together with one remote, this product will meet your needs. The seller has no control over which channels Amazon ships but the seller is very accommodating in solving the problem for someone like me who needs two units to operate independently. This timer is well worth the price. I recommend it.

Great product.
This is an excellent product. Well built & performs like advertised! I am using it to remote control an air filter unit in my garage so I need it to operate during day light hours. This unit is designed to turn on at dusk & off at 2, 4, 6, 8 hours or at dawn so to work around this sensor, I just put a piece of painters tape over the front to cover the light sensor & I can set it for the time I want it to run. The sensor thinks it is always dark so it operates as I choose. Of course I can use the on/off without taping the sensor but to use the timer function, the tape is an easy fix. The remote operates on a RF signal so line of sight is not required which is an advantage for my situation. I have only had this unit a short time so can't comment on long term durability.

This seems to be a well made and reliable product and I’m very satisfied with the purchase
I purchased the device as a remote control for an electrical switch in the crawl space beneath my house. The single throw switch controls an outlet where small electric pump (that boosts water pressure in my tankless hot water system) is plugged in. I didn’t want to let the pump run when not needed. The range of the remote is impressive. It works through walls and floors and allows me operate the pump much more efficiently from our bedroom. I’ll probably order another to control landscape lighting. This seems to be a well made and reliable product and I’m very satisfied with the purchase.

This is a terrific switch
I purchased this remote switch to control the string lights around my back yard. I use it every day, click on, click off. It is also capable of dawn to dusk functionality with its light sensor, but I don't leave my string lights on all night. It also has 2/4/6/8 hour timers in the remote so that you can turn on your light for 2 hours and they will automatically turn off, all by pushing ONE button, easy. I've used the 2-hour timer and it works great. This is a terrific switch so far, no complaints.

Best remote light switch/timer I have found
These are awesome devices. I have used remote switches for my Christmas lights for many, many years now (prior to that, when these things didn't exist, I used to install dedicated exterior outlets that were attached to wall switches inside the house...yes, I am now oficially old). These are the best remote switches I have found. You can turn them on and off with the remote, or have them turn on a dusk for a set period of hours (2, 4, 6, or 8 hours). They worked beautifully this winter, and I am looking forward to using them next winter.
