What's not to love? Avery is a staple in my life. From my home office to the kids' notebooks for school to recipes and photographs, you cannot outdo the quality for the price of Avery notebooks. The quality of this binder, the ability to insert a spine label and front cover? The smoothness of the slant D-ring mechanism which is well manufactured to last with repeated open/close clicks? Or perhaps the fact that the cover or back will not separate from the spine because it's well made? Oh - how about the sturdy construction that will allow your notebook to last through years of high school including bookbag and locker abuse? Well, it's all of the above. But the ultimate best thing about this notebook which was the the deciding factor for purchase was that it's USA made... and Amazon's got the best price as usual.

Affordable and held up through middle school. Way cheaper than buying at target and kids could update when it broke. Lasted about 6 months with repeated dropping, opening, and closing. Kids made pages to slip in to customize cover. My kids aren't gentle I was pleased that it lasted this long. They upgraded to a new one only because the corners were getting worn from repeated dropping and the inside pocket was ripped because it was over stuffed. All kid problems not the binder. The clasps still worked great!

I purchased a total of 3 binders (two of this particular size/color, one of another size/color) for a massive project that was long overdue. See, I've been collecting fashion magazines for a few years because I like all the photos printed in them for art references to use when drawing/painting, but I got pretty fed up with the amount of space this collection took up (and how much of it was wasted with articles and pictures that I had no use for or interest in) and the fact that the photos weren't super accessible and couldn't be organized. So I decided that I'd slice free the pages that I wanted, put them in diamond clear page protectors from Avery, and then fit them in a binder so that I could easily access and organize all the magazine images while also significantly downsizing the amount of space used (I went from an entire 60 quart plastic storage tub filled to the brim with magazines down to a total of 4 binders; two 2-inch, one 3-inch, and one 1-inch; the gutted magazines were then taken to the recycle center). These binders definitely did just as I wanted them to! The D-rings work beautifully to hold the page protectors and allow me to flip through the pages as often as I like without a problem and quickly remove or add pages whenever and wherever I want. The covers are also pretty sturdy and have so far handled the amount of stuff I've put in them (around 175 page protectors stuffed with 1-4 glossy magazine pages each), which is very important since I'm using these binders as reference book resources and they will naturally get handled and used often. I definitely don't feel like the covers are going to rip or bend or split apart easily. Of course, I don't think I could necessarily treat them super roughly, but general use from shelving them, opening them, carrying them with me, etc. doesn't seem like it'll wreck them, which is exactly what I wanted! The only thing I'm not a big fan of is the fact that the strip with the D-rings isn't mounted to the spine, but to the back cover of the binder. I mean, it was to be expected, but I suppose I'm just so used to O-rings mounted to the spine that it's just a little different. Anyway, not a real downside since I kind of knew it would be like this since I chose a 2", not a 1" or 1.5" which are more standard sizes that can have spine-mounted rings without a problem. D-rings mounted on a spine would probably cause a problem with the pages would have to be shifted from the side to the middle every time the binder was opened or shut. Anyway, Avery is definitely a reliable brand that makes a quality project, so if you need a quality traditional binder for a project or work or school, I definitely give these my recommendation!

These binders are pretty normal, I like that they're sturdy. I used them to but a giant loose-leaf textbook inside. Sucks that you have to buy 4 at at time, but you can split it with some friends. Nice clear pockets on the inside to put more thingalings. Sucks that they only come in black, but at least you can decorate them with things since they have clear pockets in front yippee oh yea and also on the side. rings are nice, not floppy and can def fits all your giant pieces of paper. Has some space at the opposite ends of the ring so you don't have to worry about your paper exploding on the edge. All is gud, wonderful binders

As described! I bought it in order to put an important signed script for Gone With the Wind!! But once I received it I realized that if I placed the script inside the binder, I was taking the risk of pages possibly being torn out or the punched holes would become damaged. So I decided to keep the signed movie scripts with their original 3 brass hole binders in place and bought some black leather zippered binders instead. The leather binders don't have clips, they have a tight spine that one needs to open in order to place the script inside that keeps it very safe!!

These binders are exactly what I was looking for. I purchased similar ones (a different brand) from Wal-Mart and was disappointed in the quality and lack of sturdiness. These binders are well-made, very strong, and able to hold all of my papers without fear of it falling apart. Great price too!!

Our Ruritan group provided school supplies for two classes of students with special needs in a local high school.I In one of the classes, students were required to provide a 3" binder, and they were difficult to find in local stores. Amazon saved the day! Delivery was prompt, and we were able to get the binders to students before the start of school. The binders were sturdy and perfect, The students loved them!

I bought these to hold my recipes so I use it most every day. I have found it easy to turn the pages and it lays flat so it's easy to read the recipe. I sometimes remove the recipe from the binder when I'm cooking and find it easy to open the rings to slip the recipe out and replace it. I love the design of the rings which makes it easy for me to flip through the recipe book. I have been very pleased with the quality of the binder for my purposes.

I have been using this to put all of my coloring pages into plastic sleeves. It holds so many pages and still stays durable! I filled the front and back of 100 plastic sleeves and just added 50 more plastic sleeves and it appears that I will be able to fill those too without needing another binder.

Purchased 2 of these in order to study material for a comprehensive exam for grad school. Totally helpful and durable. What else can I say about Avery binders? They're my first choice whenever I need binders. The slant rings are more helpful than the regular ones for my particular situation. Do wish the inside pockets were a bit more durable since I tend to put thick packets of paperwork in them.
