Very happy with this mobile WiFi router. Easy to use and small enough to fit in your pocket along with your iPhone (and I have an iPhone 6+). Love it!

another fantastic hotspot from Huawei

A brilliant hotspot at a great price, Cat 6 , long battery life. This is a great replacement of the Huawei E5786.

Bought for deployment to Afghanistan

So far, so good. Currently using with a Etisalat data plan in Afghanistan and provides decent 3G speed. Easy to use out of the box, but offers many more options if you download the Huawei Link app on iOS such as setting your own device SSID and password, monitoring usage, setting data limits, changing between 2.4 and 5 ghz bands. Can't comment on battery life yet but so far it drains as expected, won't expect 12 hours of hard use like the description say, but should be able to get through the day with light use without needing to charge it up. App is not super intuitive, but very usable. Inside the US, do not expect LTE 4G, I believe it isn't compatible with that network band, but 3G will work with all the major carriers (provided you have the correct SIM card). Happy travels.
