I was almost afraid to purchase this particular gift card because I read a couple reviews about them not opening correctly but I thought it was adorable and took a chance on it. It performed just fine and my son had no problems using the card for his purchase. 👍

Great gift idea!!!!

I bought this just for the box!

I had a gift card from a different vendor and I needed a cute Christmas box to put it in. Amazon money is basically cash to me, so this was basically a free box! It arrived exactly as described, damage free, and the box is even cuter in person. I will continue to buy Amazon GC boxes, baggies, and tins for all my gift card box needs :) It is true the value is not printed on the card. This was not an issue for me.

This is the third or fourth season that I have given the Amazon gift cards to seventeen assorted children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and in-laws for Christmas. I was uneasy about it at first -- it seemed a non-emotional thing to do: a loss of the Christmas spirit. Little did I know that, to one and all, it was and is a delight. They all understand that I feel deeply about them AND there is the practical advantage of not having the hassle of correct size and/or color and the ensuing return/exchange tap dance. ( I have observed more than one granddaughter or grandson stationed in a wing chair for most of the afternoon investigating how best to put his or her card to the best possible use!) The thank-you notes may not appear in my mailbox in huge numbers but a lot of people know that the old guy still knows what he's doing when it comes to the loving spirit of the season!

I will say I'm an avid gift card buyer. Some call me the gift card guru. Truth be tols this gift card has a nice high sheene finish with a durable bar code on the back. The packaging hands down is the best I've seen. It's fire proof, waterproof, weather proof, child proof, people proof the works. If you were trapped on a deserted island with this gift card know that all your worries would wash away knowing you could rest comfortably at night having this gift card by your side. I took one of these cards on a trip to the Himalayas and was trapped on the Chinese and indian border in heavy fire, if it hadn't been for this gift card i would not be here today writing this review. The Chinese were firing on the indian elite forces and i was smack dab in the middle of this with no salvation in sight. I whipped out my sat phone and dialed into Amazon prime - low and behold bezos himself airdropped in not only support to get me out but free prime video subscriptions and kindles for the troops. The firing stopped snd the soldiers were out into a state of euphoria. Jeff called to me from his prime black hawk helicopter snd thru me a best seller rope ladder. Luckily this gift card was there otherwise i would be a dead man. Thanks Jeff you truly have conquered the hearts of men and country. I now buy these cards like the catcher in the rye. One is not enough i just need more.

The gift and packaging was exactly what I wanted

I bought the gift for my adult son who prefers to choose his gift on his own time and lives a distance away. He visits us on the holidays and cannot carry heavy items in his luggage so this is a win-win. He lives an extremely busy life so he has the fun of deciding in his own free time what to purchase while still receiving a gift in a very sweet package! We do this for each other. There are so many choices that this year nobody received the same package.

Step one...cut a hole in the box...step two...put your..... wait...wrong review. What can I say, I ordered a gift card and a box. What I got, was a gift card in a box. MIND BLOWN. Seriously, what else would you expect. It's not like it's a guessing game like Brad Pitt at the end of movie 'Seven', "WHAT'S IN THE BOX?!?!?!" Don't look Brad...don't look... Most unfortunate. Well, I'm 99.97% sure your experience in ordering a gift card and a box will NOT turn out likes Brad's at the end of that movie. So purchase with confidence and step three...OPEN THAT BOX!
