Perfect for Workplaces Requiring Badge Entry

Our workplace requires badging in and out for entry into any door in the building. Basically, my badge holder gets quite a workout. I bought this lanyard, which comes with an ID holder and a retractable reel to replace my cheap work issued lanyard, which fell apart after the ID holder plastic started to crack at the bottom, causing the ID to fall out - not helpful when we are concerned about security access. I am on year number two with my CarryLuxe Lanyard. It came in a set of two, but I have only used one. I really like that the plastic is better quality than my last holder. It is lightweight, pliable and hasn't developed cracks, even when I leave it in my car during the summer heat and winter cold. The neck strap is lengthy and comfortable to wear, not tight or itchy. The best feature about this lanyard set is the retractable wheel, which lets me extend my badge to keypads that I'd otherwise have to bend down or perform other awkward movements in front of co-workers to reach. Although I only carry my badge in my ID holder, the holder is generous enough in size that you could carry your driver's license and a credit card. Many of my coworkers use this lanyard set and keep their remote computer access codes in the holder for convenient VPN access. I gave the second lanyard to a co-worker since it appears I won't be needing it anytime in the next few years! Great buy for what I need at work.

Heavy duty badge reel

The badge reel provided by my employer functioned properly for two weeks and then stopped retracting. I was looking for a heavy duty replacement and took a chance on the CarryLuxe since it comes in a set of two. It's been a few months and I've only used one badge reel. The badge reel is exactly what I was looking for. The length is good; I have to reach out of my car window and use the badge to open a gate. The reel is long enough that I don't have to lean out of the window. I prefer wearing a neck strap over a pocket/belt clip. The strap is comfortable and the color hasn't faded so far. I opted not to use the plastic badge holder so don't know if it cracks or yellows over time.

Good quality

I never thought I would be a cruise person, but if I am, I'm going to do it right. Going on my first cruise in a few months to see Cuba...I wanted something that would be light weight, but sturdy. These are great. The retractable card pouch will come in very handy I'm sure. Though I've not used them in real life yet, the boyfriend and I have been practicing our card moves quite a bit...yes, we are 12. They work like a charm no matter how many times we "pretend" use them.

Great for one-handed, fellas!

My husband only has the use of one hand. This really comes in handy when he needs to swipe his badge at work. It never falls off, is very durable, and the retracting function is a huge plus. He loves it and I do too, since the zipper keeps out crumbs and debris (less cleaning for me). The best part is that it comes with 2. We haven’t had to use the second one yet.

Durable lanyards at a good price

Just used these lanyards on a cruise. They're nicely made and allowed the plastic card holder to stretch to be read. Also the card holder has a closure like a Ziploc bag to keep your card and ID safe. I would use these again.

Works wonderfully for a cruise

We used these to hold our Carnival sail and sign cards. We never worried about losing our cards and we even put our drivers license and some cash at the ports of call. The only down side was having to remove the card to open our stateroom door. We will be using them on our next cruise when we go on excursions.

Flexible lanyard for quick access into locked zones - beep!

We carry cards inside of our if holders that scan us inside of different areas in the workplace - I spent my first year as an intern bending over to beep in! Now that I’m apart of the team, it crossed my mind to invest in a lanyard that would not affect my back. I honestly wanted to just buy one but it makes more sense to just get the 2 for less. I’ve been using it for a while now & it’s still in great condition! Plus I like to pull it up & down when I’m being fidgety. Highly recommend. I only put 2 cards inside but can easily fit more - maybe 4 or 5 if they’re thin.

Good quality

I bought these for a cruise we’ll be going on in a few days. The quality seems to be very good and the pull effort on the retractable badge reel is just right. I put several credit cards in the ID holder to check the retractable reel effort and hold strength and it seemed to do exactly what I had hoped for. Seems to be a solid outfit that will last through many cruises. If I have any problems on this first cruise with them I’ll update my review.
