Lightweight

This shirt lived up to everything that the seller advertised. It is extremely lightweight and wicked perspiration. It kept me cool in the heat and warm in the cool night air of Southern Africa. I will definitely buy more of these in the future.

Very breathable, comfortable, and reduces need for sun screen.

I'm 5'8" 160 lbs, slightly muscular build and purchased this shirt recently to wear to the pool so I don't have to wear so much sun screen. The fit is good, and very similar to most medium shirts I own. The material is very lightweight and breathable and super comfortable. I'm probably a little cooler wearing this long-sleeve shirt than I even would be wearing a short sleeve shirt because of saving my skin from the sun contact. I wore it for about 3 hours at the pool and noticed no additional tanning on my skin as a result. Wearing it to Mexico next week so I am hoping the UPF 50 holds up. I do some running as well, but haven't worn it running yet, but my experience at the pool tells me it will keep you cool as it is extremely breathable.

This shirt is way nicer than I expected. I had a sun blocking shirt I bought from a surf shop a while back which of course has fishing images on it. I wanted something plain since I'm not a fisherman and want to wear this other places than the beach. For the price, I didn't expect much. But it is perfect. Fits really nice and seems to be the same quality as the $50 shirt I had previously purchased.

Got this for trip to Hawaii, and it worked very well to keep me from getting too much sun. The fit was very good. I'm thick around the middle / belly at 6'1", 240lbs, normally wear dress shirt with 35" sleeves, and the XL fit great.

Great value for the price.

I am a competition shooter and spend hours out in the sun; and I burn easily. I had been purchasing fishing shirts that run twice the price (of this one) and finally decided what the HUK, lets see if cheaper is as good. It is. I wear a 15 1/2, 34-35 shirt and 42 sport coat. The medium fit perfectly and felt comfortable right out of the package. The sleeves were long enough to cover my wrist (which is not the case on many long sleeve polo shirts in size Med). The shirt blocked out the sun and wicked away moisture. Durability may be an issue. After the first day the back of the shirt shows some 'fuz' where my suspenders rubbed my shoulder blades. Only time will tell if the fibers will hold up. Now, that is not to say that the more expensive fishing shirts have done much better. There are many pulls and puckers on those shirts from repeated contact with my Velcro belt and gear.

Works Great - even at lower latitudes!

This works great We went on a Caribbean cruise (Mexico, Jamaica, Cayman Islands) and my husband took this shirt to avoid getting burned. It worked like a CHARM. He is normally as red as a lobster, no matter how much sunscreen he uses. This time the only thing that burned a little was the backs of this hands since the shirt didn't come down over them, lol. He has an old UPF 50 shirt from REI - maybe they lose the sun protection over the years because the day he wore that one he burned a little through it... this one didn't let anything through! Very happy with the product!!!

100% AS ADVERTISED! Protective and cool!

I bought this for my 50 yr old son who has a lawn service, and obviously, in the sun A LOT! I gave it to him yesterday. He was not particularly thrilled about the long sleeves but said he’d try it. He put it on and went about his work day. He texted me this morning asking me to order ANOTHER one! He normally wears an XL. I ordered a XXL. He liked the little bigger fit than normal making it easy to work in and no clinging. He liked the coolness.....better than sun hitting bare arms and no sunscreen. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Excellent Comfort at an Affordable Price

You're not going to find a more comfortable long sleeve T at this price point. Comparable shirts can ONLY be found at Sporting Goods stores. If you've done any shopping in one lately, you know that 'sticker shock' is not limited to new automobiles! This is a great shirt for all you fisherman out there; it truly does 'breath' to give you much more comfort while engaged in your favorite pastime. HIGHLY recommend a purchase. I have two and plan to buy a few more. Regarding fit: I would opt for an XXL with my first purchase as a large man at 6' tall and 230 lbs. The sleeves were a bit long so on my second order I went with an XL; perfect fit!
