Works very well

This is the third device I have tried to decode surround from my DVD. The first two used HDMI and never worked at all producing only left and right front and nothing else. This device uses optical and works very well with only a very slight delay when it first starts decoding. It then synchronizes and produces very good 5.1 surround.

Connected my Creative Inspire 6. 1 to my TV ...

Connected my Creative Inspire 6.1 to my TV. Works perfectly. The only detail I noticed is that sometimes when I am watching a movie on Netflix and pause, when I resume it takes a couple of seconds for the decoder to kick in.

Great plug and play 5.1 device

Works great to create 5.1 outputs to my surround sound powered speaker system. Very good fidelity and channel separation.

WORKS GREAT!

I have read such bad reviews about these boxes. Maybe it's the set up or the install, but it's not the box. At least not this one. Works exactly as described with all encoded codecs. No hiss, lag or switching by itself. This did the job and I'm %100 happy.
