I recently started bow hunting and quickly realized why so many hunters need a range finder. I used a friends Nikon range finder and decided to get one for myself. An associate at a local firearms store told me about this range finder and recommended it for the price point. It comes with a lithium battery, wrist strap, and a nice / magnetic carrying case. The unit itself is well built, clear to look thru and the buttons are really nice and responsive. I think it blows away my friends Nikon and the green color is great for the hunting bag or shirt pocket. It is very accurate, I have tested it from 50 yards to 250 yards and it spot on. It is really nice, I am very happy with the purchase.

I purchased this range finder because of the good price. I didn't know what to expect. This range finder has worked extremely well. I've used it with my friends who have more expensive units and it gives the same yardage as theirs. I highly recommend this for any one looking for a range finder. The only issue is the battery cap does seem a little loose. To make sure it doesn't come off I put a little tape on it. No big deal to me.

So far this has been working very very well. I use it for golf. I've never used one before as they are more expensive than I am willing to spend but the price on this one was right and for the price you really can't beat it. I marked durability a 4 only because it seems a little light and like maybe it won't take much of a beating but again nothing for me to compare it to. I will say it has fallen out of the golf cart already and is still working. The battery door will sometimes come loose is so far the only negative I can put for this thing. If you want a laser rangefinder and dont feel like spending $200 get this one. You wont regret it.

Really impressed by this range finder. Although it may not have all the bells and whistles of the latest Bushnell, it works just like one and 1/3 of the price. Pros: - Excellent construction. Rubberized surface all over and feels solid in hand. - Excellent optics. Images are crisp and doesn't suffer from blurred or darken edges (cheap range finders have that problem). - Accurate and reliable (I compared the readings with an older Bushnell and they are consistent. - Compact size (see size comparison with a quarter as reference). - Tripod mount. - Included instructions are in english... and you can actually understand them!. Cons: - Battery compartment opens with a quarter turn and seems easy to open. I haven't had problems, but it's something to keep an eye on.

I was looking for an inexpensive range finder that I could use for ranging shots for archery. This works really good and is exactly what I expected it to be. It comes with a really nice nylon case that has a magnetic snap that is easy to open and close, but not so loose that the range finder could fall out of the pouch. The pouch has a loop for attaching on your belt and a carabiner for snapping on a backpack. The readout is very simple. It just shows the distance in meters or yards. See attached pictures. This comes with a CR2 3 volt battery. It is blue and looks rechargeable, but it is not. I just wanted to be sure someone doesn't try to charge it and have unintended results.

I have had this for four months and it works great. It is pretty simple to operate with only two buttons. The directions are not the greatest but adequate. I could not find how to switch from meters to yards in the directions. Power on the unit, the depress the mode button for two seconds. You will see the units switch from M to Y. It is very accurate. The pin seeker functions is very helpful to lock onto flags or objects without having to hold the viewfinder steady. It does everything I wanted, and does it very well.

I used this yesterday for the first time when I played golf yesterday and while I had to read the instructions carefully(many options and settings) this rangefinder works great. I used it on setting 2 and you just have to aim at the flag and click the power button till it vibrates and it gives you the distance. There are many other settings that tell you slope etc.. but I mainly bought it for the range. Only thing I noticed was that the battery life after a round of 18 holes was at half. This could be because the battery it came with isn't a great battery so once it dies I will use a new battery and update my review if needed.

If you want a simple to use device to measure distance at a great price ,this is it. Like many electronics today it has extraneous features that I didn't try(speed measurement..??). I used it to determine yardage for an outdoor rifle range with stations to 150Yd.. The claimed accuracy is 1m =/- with a range of 600m , so I assume that means 0.1667% which gives me 100yd within 6"...OK for my needs. . Unfortunately the measurements are in meters but conversion tables are ubiquitous so that's not a big deal.. The exact maximum range is dependent on target reflectivity so low reflecting targets will not measure to the range of more reflective ones. The eyepiece rotates to accommodate individual ocular focal points so most people will be able to use this with or without wearing their glasses /contact lenses. Has threaded receiver to accommodate tripod which may be necessary to achieve stability for long distances.Directions are a little sketchy being obviously written by an individual for whom English is not native. Comes with a soft case with belt loop ,mini carabiner and magnetic flap closure. All in all a high value bargain. Battery included((Lithium 3V CR2).

for the price, it is ok if you are hunting fields. In the woods, these didn't work at all if there is anything between you and whatever you are trying find the distance of. Anything and everything gets in the way. You can be trying to spot something 100 yards away and this will tell you it is 12 yards. very frustrating. But again, if you are hunting a field, these are great for the price. UPDATE: The company contacted me almost a year later with the offer of sending me their newest model, free of charge, for review since I was not really all that satisfied with the product I purchased. I must say that the new model was nicer, easier to change settings, looked nicer, and most importantly, performed better than the original equipment that I purchased. Between the performance of the new equipment and the communication I've had with the company and their commitment to making sure customers are 100% happy with their product, I have to change my review to 5 stars.

Very easy to use, came with a battery, and is writhing a yard every time. The only thing you might want to know that is doesn't say is that to change to yards, you have to hold the "mode" button down for a few second while you have meters selected and it will change to yards.
