Makes a great pot holder as well as a protective lid
If you own a mini duo, get this lid! Not only does it keep your stuff fresh in the fridge, but you can slip it onto a too hot inner pot and use the thick lid as a perfect pot holder to get your pot out of the Instant Pot. I don't know about you, but regular pot holders are tough to fit under the rim; but once you push this thick, silicon lid on, you have the perfect grip on your hot inner pot to lift it from your Instant Pot. Love this cover
Love this cover! Love to be able to store my pot in the fridge without the use of plastic wrap or a plate. The cover is of thick silicone but is not as sturdy as hard plastic. It seals well but not as tight as gladware or other containers in your cabinet. You have to make sure the lip of the cover goes over the lip of the pan to get a good seal. Once done, you do not have to be as afraid of spillage as you would be if it was just plastic wrap. 100% recommend buying for all those instant pot lovers out there!

If you have an instant pot you need this!!
Have you ever seen the episode of The Office when Kevin brings chili to work? Well it was on my mind as I walked out my front door with a full instant pot on my way to a work pot luck. With this on my mind I gingerly tiptoed outside only to tumble down three steps and face plant into the gravel. To my delight my silicone lid containd every drop. This product is fantastic and I absolutely recommend you purchase it. It also helps to conserve space in the fridge. I love this kid!

air tight seal - must have!
Perfect fit for our instant pot and a must have accessory purchase. I was looking for a lid for our 6quart instant pot and so glad that I stuck with the actual Instant Pot brand. There are multiple off brand lids, but this lid is perfect, air tight and has a great seal. It keeps the food fresh and saves me the trouble of transferring out my leftover food into an air tight container. I just wait for the contents to cool, stick on the lid, and pop the stainless steel pot into the fridge. Saves time, money and energy! A definite MUST HAVE!

Glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews.....LOVE IT!
GLAD I didn't listen to the negative reviews! This lid is GREAT! I was skeptical but thought - oh if it doesn't fit my instapot 3qt - maybe it will fit on something else! WELL - it fits my instapot! It is a pliable heavy duty silicone - that you need to stretch somewhat to fit over the stainless steel insert that comes with the instapot. It is a very tight fit - but who wants it to be loose!? I've very happy that I purchased this - will be great for storing food/leftovers in the fridge. Highly recommend this item.

I didn’t think I needed this but now that I have it, I use it every time I use my pressure cooker.
I wash it in the dishwasher. It seals my pressure cooker pot perfectly and I just stick the whole thing in the fridge once it’s cooled enough. Let’s be honest, pressure cooker chili doesn’t stick around long enough to warrant putting it in a different container so with this silicone top I can put it away for the night. So far I haven’t noticed it keeping any unwanted smells but it doesn’t really come into direct contact with any food as I never fill up the cooker pot that full. Long story short. No, you don’t really need it but it is very nice to have. I use it far more than I expected I would.

Perfect solution for storing leftovers in you IP!
VERY happy with this lid! Fits snug, but not hard to remove. Strong enough that you can sit something on top of you need to stack. The reviews that say it's easy to get knocked off if bumped is not my experience and I'm very glad I went ahead and bought it! Highly recommend for any IP owner!

It really sticks
I just bought my Instant pot and I was looking for some kind of lid that I could use to close the top while my meals sit on the counter and cool. Our naughty cat likes to get on the counter and sample dinner. So if it’s not covered he sticks his paw in and eats the chicken. My first thought was $12 seems kinda high for a cover, but it beats the price of the glass cover. I think that one is way too expensive. Once the lid arrived I couldn’t believe the smell of it. It’s that fake cheap rubber plastic smell and It was pretty powerful. But once I washed it the smell disappeared. My other thought was that it was flimsy too. I didn’t think it would last one day yet alone a wash in the dishwasher. But it did. I put it on the bottom rack of our dishwasher but I turn the trying off. I think it would melt if you left it on. Once you apply it to the Instant pot it seals firm. You can actually lift the edge off as you push on the lid and you can hear the air escape out the hole and the lid stays that way. It’s a super tight seal and stays that way. I left the lid alone for 24hours and it never budged. Once I make our meal I will put it in the fridge for leftovers the lid is great and makes it easy to store your leftover in the fridge or even for easy transporting to the next potluck.

excellent quality! a must-have for ip users!
love this. very thick & feels like high quality material. so convenient to be able to seal up what's left in the ip and not have to transfer it to another container! love that! and it IS easy to clean, but the first (and only, so far) time i've used it i had chili in my instant pot, and this lid has retained the odor from the chili. yuck. i am highly sensitive to smells, and in this case it's a bad thing. i'll try to use some bleach or vinegar or i don't know what, but i'll gag if it continues to smell like chili in my cupboard.

it's made like a tank and worth the money
First of all, it's made like a tank and worth the money. It's heavy, flexible material, like a wobbly frisbee. If you put it on a hot pot of food and let it cool, it flexes inward and creates a suction. It's very nicely made. I don't use it nearly as much as I thought I would, though. I have a family of two, so I don't often keep a whole pot full of stuff in the fridge. I put half in the freezer, and divide the remaining half between our plates and some togo size boxes (for lunches). But if you have a big family that will be in and out of the pot a lot, or you're taking it to a potluck or something, this lid is great.
