Awesome Home Office Desk Set Up
I've been looking for an adjustable desk frame for my home office and this one fits the bill perfectly. I purchased this desk frame and paired it with a kitchen counter top from IKEA. I love how the frame telescopes out to adjust to the length of the desktop you are using. The set up was so easy, my 10 year old daughter and I put the whole set up together in no time. She said it was like putting together a Lego set. Like previous commenters have noted, the price of this desk frame is so much more affordable than the hand crank adjustable height desk in IKEA that purchasing this was a no-brainer.

Excellent product
Used this on an existing desk. Took about 4 hours to complete the job but some of that was used to remove and reposition the center drawer to the side table. You can do it in a lot less time but I'm kind of anal about my DIY projects. It really works great and once you get used to the control (read the manual!) it's great. Stability is really good and moves only at the highest point. Be aware that if you want to use this on a desk with a drawer it is too tall at the lowest setting to accommodate it. You have to remove the drawer for it to work properly. Did this for my girlfriend and she loves it, and she is hard to please!

She's a BEAUTY!
This works great for my custom desk set up. I've only been using for a month now as it took me a while to get around to building the top which is a custom shaped 1/2 MDF desktop that was painted with 6 coats top/3 coats bottom of black semi-gloss oil based enamel (if you are going to paint MDF please do your research!!!). I'm amazed at how much this can hold up! I'm running 6 monitors, 2 speaker systems (5.1 + 2.1), PS4, a laptop, 2 KB/Mice, and all my other little stuff. It lifts smoothly. Just make sure you have a nice sleeved cable management system!!!! I do not run either of my desktops on top since they are WAYYY too heavy. When you're dropping this kind of money on a desk, spend the extra for properly lengthened cables. I'm in love and now I can sit or stand anytime the 12+ hours a day that I'm at this desk.

Great standing desk frame
I paired this desk frame with the bamboo top from IKEA, and it's a perfect fit. I own various standing desk brands, and the quality of this frame is above the rest in this price range. The build quality is great and I have no wobbling when the desk is raised. The included cable management tray and hooks are great as well. My desk looks extremely clean with only one wire (a power strip) being visible. My only negative comment is that the assembly is more difficult than other brands I've tried. But once it's assembled, it's solid. I will most likely purchase a few more for the rest of my household and office in the future.

High quality for a reasonable price! Do it!
Very strong, very well designed, very much recommended! I built a custom top out of 9x 1x4's of White Pine, biscuit joined together, sanded, stained, sealed. I then used metal hardware for easy detaching later. These legs support the top, three monitors on a mount, and a keyboard and mouse. Easily goes well above and below my height requirements and I am over 6 ft tall. Other reviewers mentioned shakiness, I would disregard this concern (what the heck are you doing while gaming to make this happen?) This is a very solid frame with minimal movement at full height, loaded up. It moves back and forth somewhat at full height, by a matter of millimeters if measured. At lower settings it is solid with no movement. The legs are very well designed with good tolerances. I feel completely comfortable leaning into this desk at full height. It can be placed in the middle of room and be a totally autonomous, solid piece of furniture. This is a great way to spend some DIY time and save some $$$ on a standing desk. Build your own top from scratch for longevity!

Easy to piece together for noobs
We are not crafty people when it comes to furniture so we typically buy things already put together but have you seen the prices on fully assembled?! Unaffordable for us so we started reading reviews and saw the pics of people easily doing it themselves. We bought an unfinished butcher block from Lowe’s for $119. The other table tops we had looked at were way too wide and long, we needed something small for our space. We decided not to put a finish on the block because we liked the look and again, we’re not savvy in the build furniture by yourself category. We eyeballed the holes and drilled right in. Came out beautifully! The chopping block is heavy and solid! The mechanics of the table are amazing! Silent and quick. Easy install on all! Thanks to the reviews, when we first plugged in, we only saw dashes and nothing turned on, turns out it was in sleep mode. Just hold down M to wake it up. Hope this helps you decide if you can do it or not. Thanks to the other reviews for empowering us to do it!

Don't hesitate, just buy it.
So I researched stand up desks for two days and found out that the most affordable solution was to buy the frame and desktop separately (all in costs around $330). I had an extra desktop (long story) so I bought one of these frames and am beyond pleased. I actually ordered two more for my employees. I would recommend the Titan Universal desktop which costs around $89 (also purchased two). I assembled the first two and plan to put together the third when it arrives. Assembly is fairly easy and took me about 45 min to an hour (tho if laser-focused, I could prob do it in 30 min). I agree with another review that I don't see there being a need for the dual motor. This single motor lifts my 3 monitors, phone, etc with ease. I don't normally write reviews, but I hoped this might keep someone from spending hours/days/months researching and thinking and hesitating and then getting something that doesn't work out. Use the time I spent and trust this review....you won't be disappointed. Note: I've been using mine for about 2 weeks now. I will update if anything goes wrong. I also plan to post pics, but don't have the time right now.

Five stars.
You don't need the dual motor unless you're using it as a car lift. The single can hold my massive tower and dual monitors, plus a 32x80x1.75 inch solid piece of maple.....and myself. It's tall enough to slide my chair up under and do cable management.

Doesn't work correctly // UPDATE: Fixed
UPDATE: Another buyer answered my q. You just hold the "M" button to get it out of it's "safe mode". Tried this and everything works great! Updating to 5 stars. Suggestion to manufactuer to make this more intuitive to the user, however. I set this up. Everything seemed great. Then I let the controller sit for a few minutes and it becomes non-functional. The only way to fix it is to crawl under the desk, pull out the controller cord from the hub, then put it back in. Every time. Not practical. Will update to a higher star rating if I can get this fixed. Pacakge is really heavy so not looking forward to sending back and troubleshooting individual parts if that's what this comes down to. Adding an image that shows what the controller looks like after a few minutes when it becomes non-functional. You see the three dahses on the right " --- ". Those should be numbers representing the current height. None of the buttons do anything when it gets in this state.
