A very strong light, that fit my 10 gallon perfectly.
This light is very very bright, with a lot of LEDs and blue lights for some reason. The adjustable nature was what worried me at first. I wasn't sure if it would fit my small aquarium, as it has the black rim, and is not just parallel sheets of vertical glass. The bits at the end however can be fit in between your aquariums walls, and the side of the glass cover. I don't know if it works for screen covers or any over type of cover besides glass. It fits a 10 gallon aquarium just fine but I don't know about going too much bigger than that for this light. It really brightens up your tank.

Sleek and bright.
UPDATE: ONE YEAR LATER and this light has exceeded my expectations. It pulls some beautiful color out of my Ludwigia Arcuata that my Finnex Planted + has trouble with. This light is durable, still going strong and hasn't given me any issues at all. I will say the arm/brackets aren't sleek and the appearance bothers me. Pretty much my only complaint about this light would be the arm/bracket design. I tried using standard plastic/metal brackets for rimless tanks and the holes are too large for it to sit properly without sagging so while it can be done, it's not a solution. Also the fact that Amazon has not made other sizes of this light available.. I plan to purchase the larger one (from another supplier, search and you'll find it) to use as a supplemental light for my 22 long. I have one Finnex Planted + running however I run pressurized co2 and the plants block a good bit of the light. Overall this is an excellent light for the price. Arrived on time. Sleek design matches my vintage metaframe tank and I imagine would look great on any rimless tank as it comes with plastic screws to tighten. Bright enough to where I see new growth on plants (pink tips on my rotala walichii) since installation last Thursday (it's Sunday). This is my third nicrew LED light purchase and so far I have no complaints. LOVE these lights. Also priced exceptionally.

Best light, best customer service
I highly recommend this light. After using this light for about 5 months, I thought it stopped working and thought it was faulty (though it was actually due to my error in connecting the light). The seller graciously sent me a replacement light as they have a 1 year warranty. When I realized my error they told me to keep the replacement. Clearly they have fantastic customer service who stands behind their product. It illuminates my tank beautifully, doesn't get too hot and really brings the aquarium to the next level. Thank you Nicrew!!

Great light! Get multiples for big tanks!
I’ve been using this light for only a week. I’ll update if things change. I love this light. I have a 26 gallon acrylic hex tank. It’s 36” and they sell that size However they are mostly the same 5 year old LED technology. Always check the date if was 1st sold on Amazon. That helps determine the model year. I believe this light has less than 2 year technology. The LEDs are packed together more. So it’s smaller but even brighter. This light is ultra modern and Super clean and TINY. I placed them in a triangle so I could light the background AND foreground. It creates a more realistic 3D effect. Message me for more info regarding this light

Super bright, great for 10g, 20g tall, and 26g bow front tanks!
I'm super cheap so I cringed at spending $25 for a light (graduate school makes one poor), but I'm so glad I did it! This light is super bright and fits very snugly on my tank. I've included a picture of the original lid with tiny LEDs inside (a tank kit from Walmart) and an after picture of this great light to show how much clearer and brighter my tank is. The next pictures show this light on my 26 gallon bow front, which is about 24 inches wide--it's slightly brighter than the Coralife light I have (which is likely very old, I got it with a very old 20 gallon tank last year). I'm going to purchase another one shortly for my bow front! :)

Working out very well so far.
This light is working quite well for my tank. I bought it to light up a 20 gallon half moon fish tank by Marineland. For those familiar with this tank it's pretty high. I think it's at least 23" tall. I grow live aquatic plants and needed something that would facilitate plant growth. This light seems to be doing the job nicely. I can't use the brackets that come with the light but I placed directly on top of the clear plastic hood and it doesn't get too hot and stays in place. I grow a variety of green crypts, some nymphaea Rubra dwarf waterlilies that I purchased through amazon and also threw in some creeping Jenny from my garden. They are all doing quite well. I've had the light since December of 2017 and so far I've had no problems. I will provide updates if I do experience any issues. UPDATE: It's basically been one year so far and the light is still doing perfectly well. Although I like the light very much I may add some other type of LED light that allows me to direct some red, orange red or yellow down toward the fish to really make their colors pop. I do like this light a lot and more importantly, so do my aquatic plants. However, the fish kinda look a bit washed out. Still, I have no regrets. This light was very affordable and has given me reliable use thus far.

Used in snake’s planted terrarium— prefer it to the blue tongue skink’s Classic Plus model
I purchased this light along with Nicrew’s ramping timer for a diurnal snake’s planted terrarium for supplemental light. Initially, I was concerned the light would be unnaturally blue (it’s 7500 kelvins and 6700 kelvin or so is the normal recommendation), but it is actually the same color as the spring sun in Southern California so I am happy. It puts out more light than (2) 26w compact fluorescents plus a 75w incandescent heat lamp combined but, as the timer allows us to adjust the brightness, we can tone it down if it becomes necessary. I took several photos (at night with no background lighting) next to the other commonly used lights for comparison in color and intensity. After having this light for several weeks, I purchased a Nicrew Classic Plus for a blue tongue skink’s enclosure. I chose it over this one because it was suppose to be closer to natural light on land (6500k). Unfortunately, I don’t like it nearly as much—the quality of light is extremely harsh even though we set it at 50% output. In retrospect, I wish I had bought another one of these instead. That fixture and its power switch are also quite clunky compared to this unit which is streamlined, sleek, and cheaper in price. I included a couple of side by side photos for comparison. As with all of our lights, we were able to affix it to the screen top with a little ingenuity using Zilla spring clips so it doesn’t move when we open the lid. I will definitely purchase more of these (along with the timers) as needed.

Super bright
This lamp is the perfect replacement for my 29 gallon aquarium hood. The previous owner of the aquarium setup removed the fluorescent fixture from the hood. I didn't want to buy an entire new hood. Even though it is ten inches shorter that the hood itself, it lights up the tank brighter than any lamp I've ever had. I like the button switch on the cord; easier to get to than the old fashioned switches on the back of the plastic housing. Since it was replacing the lamp in an old perfecto hood, I was able to just lay it on the glass window, and not use the metal legs it comes with.

Excellent Light
Ordered and installed the NICREW Deluxe LED Aquarium Light, 18watt on my 20 gal. high shrimp aquarium a week ago and am already seeing growth in my low and mid light level plants. The tank is 17 inches high and the light has excellent penetration so will be trying some higher light level plants. The visible brightness is comparable to other lights I have used costing 3-4 times the $25.99 price I payed for this light. The constuction is excellent and the after sale communications from the company concerning the arrival condition and any questions I might have was very refreshing. I highly recommend this product and will be purchasing more to replace existing lights.

Brighter and better than the other popular Nicrew light
This is my first time buying this Nicrew model light. I have purchased the other popular model 4 times. Decided to buy this one to test out on my new tank. Definitely would recommend this light to anyone. It has less blue LEDs, which is great because it doesn't make the tank a weird blue hue like the old one! Only time will tell if it hold up, If anything changes I'll update this review. Box came damaged
