for the money you cant beat this case, light but padding is nice I travel a lot and this case gives my mandolin a nice place to hang out while on the road.

Does the job nicely holding my mandolin with a little extra play. don't have to fight to zip it. Very large front pocket for the extras carrying handle on the side as well as shoulder strap on the back nice thick material could use a little more padding I'm pleased

Looks very classy. Passes the wife test for placement in the living room or wherever, for easy placement and collection of your mandolin, or guitar. Instruments left in cases don't get used. Do yourself a favor and get this item. Installs in minutes, and makes practice easy. No longer have an excuse to get the thing out of the case

The bag is made perfect for A- model Mandolins. Nice snug fit with padding makes taking it with me less of a worry on bumping it.

Excellent for the price. Fits my A style Rogue Mandolin nicely.

For the price this case is fine for an inexpensive A-style mandolin. I have two A style mandolins and one is a little thicker than the other and they both fit fine (thinner one pictured). The outer material looks fairly tough, and the inside lining is fine for the job. The padding feels like a foam about 1/2” thick and not really very firm, so I am sure there are better cases, but I doubt at this price. I looked the whole thing over for any sort of tag and found nothing at all, so not sure where made, except presumably wherever is advertised In the description. I’m assuming it is imported though because I can’t imagine anyone would make this in the USA and not publicize that on the product. The zippers work fine but as you can see from the pictures they don’t appear to be any particular name brand (like YKK). The handle is no-nonsense and looks to be securely sewn on. The back strap should work ok for light carrying but does not seem easily removable unless you just don’t like it and decide to cut it off. The pocket is as measured in the picture and easily fits the 6”x9” envelope I included for scale. That would give you some idea of what might fit in there, not that you’d necessarily want to carry envelopes in there. But it would be fine to put a couple of sets of strings, capo, tuner, and such. You could also probably put a decent size tablet in there or some folded sheet music, etc. So, overall not bad, and I gave it a 5 star rating due to the combination of low price and apparent durability for light use for an inexpensive A style mandolin.

Great price excellent quality

Hilariously, I bought this for a truly cheap mandolin (Rogue). It fits in there nicely and I was happy with the amount of padding the case has. The pocket is nice for storage. If you need a storage and portability solution for your mandolin this is a great one! I haven’t traveled heavily with it, but I am happy with it for my uses at (mostly) home.

I've had an Ovation mandolin for many years that was gifted to me by my Dad. It's been on a wall hanger ever since I had it as I could not find a gig bag to fit and thought Ovation's prices for their gig bags/cases for it totally outlandsh. I actually ordered this for my banjo-mandolin,but it was too big. Then it hit me to try the Ovation and see how it fit. Fits beautifully. So thankful I ordered this!
