My husband recently immigrated from Brazil, where he was accustomed to having his hair and beard professionally done every week (for like $7). I told him there is no way we can afford that here, so we decided to buy this kit. He had some experience doing his beard in the past and some experience cutting hair, but nothing professional. After six weeks of practice, he is doing an amazing job and even manages to cut the hair in the back of his head using this tool (I just do his neckline). He cuts his hair shorter on the sides and fades into the long hair on top (he learned by paying attention to how stylists cut and watching youtube videos). He also bought a straight edge razor to get the clean edges around the beard and at hairline. We are thankful he can continue to look great while we don't have to pay a stylist/barber every week!

I have another trimmer so I was a bit hesitant to buy this one, but the price was to good to ignore so I made the purchase. I am extremely happy I bought it since it puts my previous trimmer to shame. It does a better job in a fraction of the time and the recharge time is fast. It comes with a lot of pieces so it's great for a haircut or a beard trim. Definitely recommend.

My previous shaver/trimmer was a Philips Norelco Multigroom 3000, which worked well until the clipper attachment broke off after about a year. I thought I'd try something new and went with the Braun MGK3060 -- that was a mistake. I'm not sure if the blades weren't properly aligned or what, but it kept getting snagged on hair and took forever to shave any substantial area. I returned it to Target (where I bought it) and did some research here instead. I decided to go back to the Norelco line and try the step-up from my old shaver/trimmer. This thing works GREAT! It's solid, cuts with ease, and has more attachments than you could ever hope to actually use. I tried a couple of them out and they seem to work really well. Overall, a great purchase so far!

Easy to use clipper. Got this because my stylist isn’t open. I have a feeling it’s gonna save me a lot of money because I figured out how easy it’s to cut my own hair! The battery capacity is decent, it will last throughout a normal haircut even for self cuts. Get your razor and cut your own hair for the quarantine! It was a good purchase for me. (Don’t Try to shave your balls with it though, it can get bloody)

My husband absolutely loves his new trimmer. It does everything he needs to clean up his beard, mustache, eyebrows, nose and neck hair. My husband changes up his look quite a bit but this seems to be able to handle his very think hair! Such a great quality of battery and sensitive to his skin. The razor has maintained its sharpness and power. My husband loves that it is cordless and a bag for all of the pieces!!! This would make a great stocking stuffer! Hope this helps!👍👍👍 ❤ C.Hamilton

It finally arrived I charged it immediately, took a deep breath and started cutting hair. I keep my hair pretty short but due to the lockdown, it was pretty long. I started with the 16mm comb and the clipper struggled in the first pass. Later, I learned that I had to go with a shorter stroke so that the clipper could release the hair from the cutter. I was choking the cutter! I moved down to 12mm and finished with the 9mm comb. It was my first time cutting my hair by myself so it took about 30min but the clipper kept going strong. After some fine tuning, I was happy with the result. I wish I could use 4mm on the sides and back but blending at the top could be tricky, so I’ll leave that for Halloween, maybe. I am totally happy with the product. It was easy to use and got me the good result. I most likely won’t go back to a barber shop in the future as I don’t see much difference in result.

GREAT ITEM! I've been waiting for something like this (affordable) to be made for over a DECADE! No more using a barbershop type razor to cut short hair every week, this does the trick faster and DOES NOT BURN YOUR NECK (front or back)! Plus with the nose/ear hair cutter it's an ALL-IN-ONE man's barbershop! Charges quickly too! I LOVE IT!!!

I purchased this product with My own hard earned money and this review contains my own thoughts and opinions. This is a great trimmer. I have used it to trim both Head hair and body hair using the various attachments. So far it works great. The battery life appears to be very good. I haven’t had to charge it since buying it. I also have only used it once for a haircut and 3 time for body (chest) hair. The trimmer is not particularly loud which is nice (I would call it quiet), it is also pretty light in the hand and easy to use / hold in position. My only complaint would be the fixed cut lengths. It would be nice to have an adjustable cutting head for more stepped lengths for haircuts to allow for better blending, rather than just length 1, 5, etc. I am very happy with my purchase.

This is a nice trimmer that's easy to use. I use it to cut my head hair and my beard. I use the longest 16mm guard to cut my head hair. That's quite short, but perfect for my balding head! With the guard it's hard to make a mistake. I just go across my head against the grain multiple times with the trimmer guard flat against my head. If you want your hair any longer, however, you better know what you are doing. I also use the trimmer for my beard with the longest 7mm beard guard. That's also pretty short, but exactly what I want. The guards are all labeled. The trimmer has plenty of power. There is no snagging of hair. I've only used it for about two weeks so I can't comment on its longevity. It comes with a "Full Four-Year Warranty," however. If you register your purchase with Philips, you get an additional 6 months on the warranty. The trimmer doesn't have a charging light. The instructions say, however, "When the product has charged for 1 hour, it has a cordless operating time of up to 3 hours." A charging light therefore isn't really needed. So far, I am very satisfied.

Great clippers make shaving quicker, standard razors get bunched up and wear out far too quickly consider the price of them these days... This trimmer has three different blades and a variety of guards to adjust the height whether you want a close shave or if you're trimming a beard. It can cut your hair too but the longest guard it comes with is about 1/4 or so - which is military short. Avoiding the public during covid it doesn't matter, besides hair always grows back, mine faster than most other people it seems.... Battery seems good so far I don't shave every day and I've got thick hair, so the guard and blade do get caked up fairly quick but these are easy to clean which a few taps and some shaking. I would prefer if they made a waterproof set since I often rinse my face during shaving and there's a risk of these shorting out like their previous models did. Decent trimmer for a good price though, so far I'm liking them.
