Perfectly cooked bird!
I purchased this in order to cook a turkey for Thanksgiving this year. Last night, I took it out of the box in order to cook a chicken, as sort of a test run for the turkey. There is some assembly but, it's not hard. The hardest thing about it is the directions (which are just pictures and they're confusing). However, once you get started, assembly is easy. Once assembled, you're going to want to season the inside. So, if you're expecting to set this up and cook, plan ahead of time to season it. It's simply just rubbing the inside down with oil and letting it burn off (until it stops smoking) but, it could delay your dinner plans if you dont account for it the 1st time. I recommend covering the drip pan with foil instead of using the included smaller drip pan. That pan isnt big enough. This cooker and a remote thermometer is all you need to make the perfect chicken/turkey dinner. Super happy with this purchase.

Great ribs
Got the big easy Yesterday Had to try it out I put a dry rub on ribs and hung them up on the rack Done in an hour They were great. One thing they can do is have instructions to put this together And a good recipe book that comes with it

Love this fryer!
Love this fryer. Had baby back ribs the first night we got it and a prime rib the following night. Both turned out perfect. Would highly recommend.

100% bad-a$$ery
This review might not be helpful in that I haven't used this fryer yet. Like most people in the country, we cook a turkey about once a year and this was bought for my mountain cabin, where we only do Thanksgiving every other year. That said, I felt like I had to comment on how well this thing is built. I use a Char-Broil charcoal grill for my typical bbq-ing, and this thing puts my regular grill to shame. It's built like a tank. Just thinking about how awesome it will be to use makes me want to harpoon and fry a dragon. When I get it to the cabin, I will fry a chicken, then a ham, then a turkey, then a pterodactyl. Upon completion, I will update this review with stories pertaining to glorious food awesomeness. Peace.

Shocked
Got this Wednesday, put it together Thursday then seasoned it and fired it up. Friday morning cooked a 15 lb bird for the family for our Christmas gathering (with a couple of turkey breasts on the smoker at the same time as back up) and it turned out better than any turkey I ever fried which is a lot. The weather was a chilly 15-20 degrees the entire cook and the BE produced an incredible finished product. Having no experience with a product like this I was leery there would be a learning curve and kind of put it on the line with a large group of people coming over and me being responsible for the main course. My 4 year old great niece Kaylee wouldn't eat and then finally grabbed a piece of turkey off her plate and ate it then looked up at me and said "yum." Pretty much sums it up right there. After one use under tight time constraints giving 5 stars might be jumping the gun but I have several buddies that swear by the BE cooking rib roasts, pork butts, ribs, and chicken so I am pretty convinced this thing works as advertised based on today's results and word of mouth. The turkey breasts on the smoker turned out good as well. Both the 15 lb'r and the turkey breasts were pre brined butterballs which might attribute to the entire bird being incredibly moist.

The best oiless fryer
Makes the best ribs, Turkey, chicken..You name it. So glad to not have to spend $40 a piece on the peanut oil from the older fryers. Easy clean up. Will definitely buy again for gift. I would suggest not being in a hurry and taking the time to keep the heat a bit low so your meat turns out flavorful and juicy. It is possible to dry the meat out quickly and it will be tuff. Patience is key.

... is not for Just Turkey anymore this thing is amazing we did a glazed ham we did small chicken ...
Well this oil is deep fryer is not for Just Turkey anymore this thing is amazing we did a glazed ham we did small chicken and so much more we're going to do chicken legs this weekend for the football hopefully they'll come out great just looking up some recipes online what is a fantastic purchase specially for Thanksgiving did a turkey in the oven and we did a turkey in a oil-less deep fryer it was no more turkey left just from the one that was deep fried but was plenty turkey leftover from the one that was in the oven fantastic purchase recommend purchasing it after using a twice you'll save on just oil alone and the thing just keeps going and going on a thing of propane if you don't think this is the best thing you bought in a while you're sadly mistaken enjoy and eat healthy

Best money you will ever spend!
This is the best fryer I’ve ever owned. The 16 pound turkeys, pork ribs and chicken cone out tasting the best. I also found disposable drip pans, 50 for $20 that work great. Rectangular Disposable Aluminum Foil Pan Take Out Food Containers with Flat Board Lids, Steam Table Baking Pans, 32 oz, 2.25 lb, Quart [50 Pack] https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XDFPTC2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_42lYAbMZ8J1MV

Excellent purchase
I’ve has this for a year now and it works awesome. Turkey and roaster chickens are super juicy. Prime rib comes out amazing too. Great buy compared to an oil fryer. The cost of this unit is cheaper than the cost of an oil fryer plus the oil. There is no oil to deal with after and you don’t need to buy oil when you want to cook. No rust issues as other have talked about. I wipe it down with vegetable oil when it cools and store it in my garage. Also it uses very little propane, You can cook a lot on one tank of propane.

Tastier and healthier than frying.
I've deep fried turkeys for years. A friend turned me on to this fryer and I gave it a shot. The turkey today for Thanksgiving was phenomenal. Moist and perfectly cooked. The deep fried turkeys were a little dry but not this one. The best part is that it is a LOT healthier than deep frying and easier to clean up. I injected Cajun Creole butter and rubbed it with oil and lime juice and slathered it with a spicy rub. 16 pound bird in the fryer for 3.5 hours. Don't listen to folks telling you 10 minutes a pound... here in Ohio it took 3 1/2 hours.
