• KILLS INSECTS & PESTS: The Smart Swatter is a patented fly swatter that can be used to kill any kind of insect: spiders, mosquitoes, fruit flies, bees, wasps and other creepy crawlers. The genius design offers 17.9” x 4” x 0.1” of surface area to get rid of flying bugs once and for all. This swatter is perfect for classrooms, bedrooms, patios, kitchens, and more!
  • NO-MESS DESIGN: The Smart Swatter has 904 spikes to whack and smack bugs of any size. Even small bugs get stuck in the spikes, but all you have to do to remove them is bang the swatter on the side of the trash can, and the bug will fall right off. No more picking up bugs with your hand and a tissue or playing hide and seek with pesky flies. Just swat and flick bugs right into the garbage.
  • MULTI-PACK: Each set of Smart Swatters comes in a variety pack with 2 assorted colors. We offer 5 colors: red, orange, yellow, blue, and green. These bright colors make the fly swatters easy to find when you’re in a pinch. Keep one swatter at home, and keep the other in the car or your office. You can also pack a fly swatter when you go camping or fishing.
  • SAFE FOR KIDS & PETS: You won’t need electric rackets, bug zappers, or chemical sprays when you have this simple yet elegant solution. Our manual fly swatters give you the control you need to ensure your kids and pets stay completely safe along with the confidence you need to kill your target. Plus, the swatters are washable and reusable.
  • CONVENIENT FOR HANGING: When you’re not killing bugs, this high-quality fly swatter can be easily hung on a hook in a cabinet, closet, or pantry. The flat design also allows it to be stored in a drawer if needed. These USA-made fly swatters are portable and light, so you can easily take them wherever you go.

The "Smart SWatter" Shipping was fast. I'd read it was going to be shorter (18" long) when I bought it, so no surprise there. Just be aware that it's "reach" is probably 4.5" shorter than what you may be used to. (My other "easily bendable wire handle/flimsy plastic" swatters are 22.5" long) My "original" OXO swatter was also 22.5" long. (The OXO is apparently no longer made. I see some on Amazon looking like the OXO, but from reviews are apparently made of far inferior materials and don't have "OXO" on the rubber handle. It's handle/head was far stiffer. I'd gotten mine at Target many years ago.) THIS "Smart Swatter" is working GREAT. The main flat area is somewhat flexible, but it won't wrap around a corner to catch a bug. The shaft area just below the swatter seems to be pretty "springy", and it whip-snaps pretty well. The little pins on the side facing the bug when you swat it DO hold onto the bug pretty well, and let you flick it off right into the waste basket. So far, the normal house flies I've gotten have NOT left a mark on the surface after I swatted them. No Cleanup so far-- that's a big plus. I'm finding I don't have to hit as hard as I had to with my old flimsy head swatters (with which I've hit a fly, only to see it fly off again after hitting the ground). I do notice that the top of the swatter is shaped like a spatula, narrowing to a thinner top edge. I imagine that's to help scrape off the big bugs if they stick to something? Nice to know it's there if I ever need it. I've NOT yet had any issues with this swatter scratching/marring soft wood etc. This swatter is still stiff enough that if I need to trap and push down to squash an unwanted venomous bug in a corner, it can do it. (The flimsy plastic one, or leather one I've got, could not.) It's got an open handle area easy to hang it up with on a nail/hook, etc. - However I instead wrap seff-adhesive velcro ("loop" side) around the handle end of the swatter, and have a long matching velcro ("hook" side) strip in the broom closet - which is FAR easier/faster to grab, and to hang up again. No searching for the nail or hook in a dark closet. So far, I'm very pleased with this swattter (I bought two, and may get another couple now for garage, etc.) This swatter is more likely to take out something like a Wasp, the first hit. (I also bought an Amish made 17.25' long Leather fly swatter (on Amazon) with spring-steel handle (won't easily bend out of shape, and is very flexible), which I'm realizing may be better for some areas. It's got enough heft for bigger bugs also, but the leather is flexible and it WILL wrap around a corner with enough mass to do the job, and may be less likely to mar soft items/woodwork (it more easily conforms to the shape of an object). For spiders etc, I usually use a portable Vacuum w Hose. It's far "cleaner", and much more likely to "bag" that bug with suction, than when trying to swat it. (but Flies won't sit still long enough, so swatter generally works better on flies.)

I am in love with this fly swatter. Two came in my package and I have been using them a lot lately. With company over and kids leaving doors open, lots of flies come in. Before this flyswatter I had to go through so many napkins to picked up a swatted fly to get it to the trash can. With this swatter, the fly is stuck in between the nubs and a quick smack on the edge of the trash can sends the fly into the trash. I have had one or two flies manage to wedge in between the nubs without being killed and reviving once they were in the trash can, but it doesn't bother me. It also means that most of the time the flies don't splat all over the counter, either. This fly swatter is a bit thicker/stiffer than a normal flyswatter so you may have to get used to that.

this is the greatest fly swatter I have ever used. I don't have a mess any more and I don't have to grab a tissue to pick up the bug it does it for me. I have killed all types of bugs and it picks them all up. I have even gotten a couple of them out of the air. This fly swatter is just awesome. I couldn't recommend this enough.

We have a breakout of Spotted Lantern Flies here in eastern PA. These flies won't die with just an ordinary fly swatter. We ordered these and am so glad we did. They work amazingly well!!! I have been raving about this swatter to neighbors and friends. This swatter is so sturdy and effective for the task. I recommend to anyone and everyone! Plus, they are made in the USA; double bonus!

I don't understand what people were expecting when they say they were let down by the difference between image/description and actual item. Was I let down that my blue swatter wasn't that deep navy implied in the photo? Not in the least. My goal here is insect annihilation, not making it into next issue of Country Living magazine. Couple of things that make these keepers: 1. The holes in the swatter and the flexible material allow you to really make a quick swat before the fly can make a break for it. 2. The fly gets squished in the spikes and its held in there quite well. I can turn the swatter completely upside down and the fella isn't going anywhere. 3. The feeling I get when I see the insect within the swatter in an impaled state is incredibly satisfying. Doubly satisfying because it doesn't leave a splattered bug on your wall which you then have to go and wash off. You can simply head on over to your trash can and give it a little wiggle and the insect falls right out. Sometimes you have to kind of "encourage" them out, but that's kind of what you're signing up for here. If you are that adverse to a bit of "hands on" bug disposal, then you should be looking into other options anyhow. 4. It's made in the USA. Figures.... only a real American hero could have engineered such an impersonally brutal device. Did you see the seller proudly proclaiming 904 SPIKES PER SWATTER?! 904 is a very intentional number.... not 900, not 905... 904. Scandanavians would've made something that politely asked the bug in an easily understood series of pictograms to kindly hang out elsewhere, but also that if it didn't feel like it, well, it's also totally optional so feel free to continue flying around the house if that's what makes you happy. 5. If you can't discern that this product listing includes only two swatters, that the 5 swatters in the photo are there to show you that colors may vary, and that even in a world in which there is no longer hunger and war and all living things cohabitate in brotherly love the colors indicated might not be an exact Pantone match to what you receive and that's ok..... well, shame on you. You are part of the problem.

This is the best fly swatter I have ever used. The spikes grab the bug without completely splattering them everywhere but the biggest feature is the construction especially the handle itself. Wire flyswatters are all junk if you can swing and snap them quick enough to catch a fly in flight or one that is about to move they bend and you lose aim and impact. Then you have to re-bend back into place. A lot of plastic ones also flex too much and the ones that do not get old and the handles crack, break or weather if left in sunlight. These swatters give you full impact hardly flex so you always hit on target. I am a weight lifter with 18 + arms and I can knock fly's right out of the air and fly swatter handle does not distort messing up my aim. Anyone who has ever used multiple types of swatters knows what I mean. These are simply the best and the handles are hardy, thick and very durable the pictures do not do them justice.

Ended up buying this because everyone store in town was out of fly swatters and it was only July. Actually ordered several different swatters off Amazon. But this one..! WOW! The BEST, MOST WHAPPIEST swatter EVER! Perfect weight with a strong neck and handle. I'm 8/10 accuracy when packing this bad boy. Love the spike action. Will be purchasing more for myself as well as gifts. Pesky flies don't stand a chance!

They perform as advertised. The swatter arrived yesterday and this morning there was an early season fly in our bathroom. One swat and the fly was dead and impaled on the swatter just as they makers says would happen. Much better than trying to follow the falling trajectory of the dead fly and picking it up off the floor, sink or what have you. I wish the handle was longer. I had to climb a chair to reach the ceiling and the fly.

Good heavy plastic - nothing like those cheap ones you get at Wal Mart. You can really take your barely repressed anger at the unfairness of the world out on that small annoying fly. It feels great to wind up and slap the sh1t out of tiny fly, much the way say your ISP or bank or employer does to you. Knowing you have those grippy little teeth to pick up the body and slap it into the trash just finishes this loop of cradle to grave.

These fly swatters arrived in the colors of Christmas, green and red. While that did not set the tone I was hoping for, as I seldom see flies around Christmas time, I decided to give them a chance anyway. They are a heavier, seemingly more durable product than my previous fly swatter, which began to break into pieces during use towards the end of its “useful” life. Hence, the purchase of these fly swatters was made, after minimal research (“Amazon’s Choice” banner of honor recipient). The name also intrigued me. I have a smart phone, certainly I could use a smart swatter. Please excuse my poor attempt at humor, I don’t know what got into me. I assure you none of the rest of this will be funny. These “Smart Swatters” have the added benefit of trapping your enemy within their tactically resourceful spikes. More on this later (see “Spike Retention” below). While the grip is nothing extraordinary in and of itself, these have an opportune feel to them in your hand during attack mode (your swing). I’d equate this to a baseball player finding the right length and weight of a bat. It may not be right for everyone, but it seems to put me in the best position to succeed. I've noticed a seemingly sharp increase in both my hit rate and my kill rate since their acquisition. Now, one could argue that perhaps my flyswatting form is just better. Or perhaps my selection of fly position upon engagement is more optimal for a successful swat. Maybe, maybe not. I don’t have all the necessary historical data from my previous swatter to confidently back this up one way or another. What I can confirm is my swing feels more natural, powerful, accurate, and my results for these fly swatters so far are quite good: Swings – 21.5 Hits – 18 Kills – 17 Spike Retention – 13 A few comments regarding the above data. My Swings data only includes swings made while engaging with enemy flies. It does NOT include practice swings, of which there were several upon taking out of the box, and several more in the form of warm ups prior to use in production. The .5 swing was a swing I stopped half way through when it came too close to an antique candelabra. Hits include any contact made with an enemy fly regardless of outcome. My hit rate thusfar is a remarkable 83.7%. Again, I do not have prior data, but I’m confident this is well above my hit rate with my previous flyswatter, which at times could feel like trying to hit a fly with a toothpick. That may seem like an attempt at humor, but I assure you trying to kill a fly with a toothpick is no laughing matter, it’s quite frustrating. Kills include flies whose existence ended as a result of a hit with my new flyswatter. My kill rate comes in at an impressive 94.4% (17/18). While I again do not have this data for my previous flyswatter, I know of many times where contact was made and the fly was able to continue its obnoxious existence. Spike retention refers to the number of times a fly remained within the 904 spikes (I have yet to validate this count is accurate) that protrude from the fly swatter for ease of disposal. This is a prominent feature that is marketed reasonably well by the producer, and at a 72.2% success rate thusfar, it has exceeded my cynical expections (25% success rate). This pleases me. Overall, I gave these fly swatters 5 stars based on my early results. Admittedly, my figures represent a very small sample size and any claim I’d make regarding durability this early on would be a fallacy. Therefore, if I notice any substantial change in my statistics above or encounter any durability concerns, I vow to return to update my review. I hope you’ve found this review moderately helpful and I thank you for your time. Give this flyswatter a try and take your house back from winged assailants.
