These headphones went well beyond what I expected. The sound is crystal clear and very comfortable to wear. They completely cover my ears and I don't hear any outside noises. Since they are studio type headphones, they are large, but I purchased separately a case to store them in and protect them against shocks and dust. Overall, this was a great purchase and a great price.

I recently purchased the Beterdynamic DT 770 pro 32 ohm limited edition as an upgrade from my audio technica m40x per reccomendation from a few friends. They are a solid upgrade from the m40s and have a far more balanced sound which makes listening way more enjoyable. If your looking for a great pair of cans that offer more clarity than beats or jbl as well as a better balance of bass, take a look at these. They have surprisingly pretty good soundstage and the sound is fairly immersive, a lot better than the m40s. The headband is a little snug for my big head but will flex in time and prove to be more comfortable, the velour pads are also more comfortable and cooler than the leather making long listening sessions far more enjoyable. Acoustics are great as well as vocals, hip hop music and r&b sound better on these than the m40s as well because they have slightly more bass which helps for a fuller sound that sounds great. At this price these are an amazing pair of headphones and sound better than most beats and jbl headphones far more expensive I’ve listened to. No regrets after purchasing these! Go snag you a pair, you won’t be disappointed!

I was looking to replace my ATH-M50s and although these aren't the giant step up into the audiophile world I was originally going to make, they are an improvement in every way that I wanted them to be. They sound better and they are so much more comfortable. I can wear these all night and get lost in whatever I'm listening to without having to constantly adjust them. They are not as portable as the M50s, but I usually stick to IEMs outside of my home so that isn't an issue for me. Keep an eye on the price as these seem to constantly go up in down in the $150-$180ish range. Well worth the price either way. edit: thought I would mention that the snaps on the headband look black in the pictures, but are actually silver. it's a minor gripe, but I think it's just a little ugly imo. that being said, I enjoy these headphones too much to really care and I'm pretty sure the velcro headband from the Custom One Pros would fit if I did care enough to swap it.

I needed some noise isolating headphones that have great sound. I'm an audiophile, but I'm not a lotto winner. As much as I'd like a $3k set of cans, that's not happening. I'm a pro photographer/filmmaker and I needed some headphones that I could wear to edit video. I need to hear very clearly what the sound effects and tracks sounded like without hearing things in my environment. I also wanted some to use while playing my electronic drums. These way outperform the price. Very good value. My box was sealed from the factory. The build is rugged. The sound isn't stellar compared to thousand dollar and up headphones, but they sound really great. My iPad pro and iPhone X don't really do them justice without an amp. My laptops and MacBook pro can push them. Mine are the 80 ohm version. Don't get me wrong, they'll play with the iPad and phone, but they lack volume. With a sufficient amp they have rich warm sound. Really decent low end. Sharp definitive highs. The mids aren't insanely punctual, but not lacking either. Definitely high end headphones at price that is almost misleading. I'd have paid twice as much for them honestly.

These things are amazing. I got the 250 ohm version because I do a lot of studio recording and I can easily drive them. Knowing Beyerdynamic though, there is probably little difference between these and the lower impedance offerings. That being said, they can easily run off of a phone and can provide accuracy across their entire frequency response to boot. Mind you your phone will be near max volume and only spitting out 95dB peak, but that has the added benefit of preventing hearing damage. Even then 95dB in cans feels almost uncomfortably loud, as it should aince it will begin causing damage after 2hrs. All in all these are extremely accurate to the point that I sometimes forget I'm wearing them I and not using my monitors in my listening room.

After 3 weeks now with them they have broken in and i generally have a full idea of the sound. First of all, i love them. The sounds is very clean which i appreciate and it focuses on acoustic and wind instruments as well as vocals. Personally i love focusing on vocals and even though i dont listen to alot of guitar music i do listen to classical where wind instruments along with violin and other instruments are present and it really highlights them. These headphones are not great for the base. The base is there indeed and it feels good but these headphones really value a good sound signature in which bass does not take the lead on importance. These are indeed studio monitors and act like them, but it's been really fun listening to the sound in the background besides the vocals due to the good Soundstage. Some song i appreciate more now that i can listen to those little details and somd songs i appreciate less due to small range im detail. I'm giving these 5 stars, these are my 2nd beyerdynamic headset and i love the clear sound that they have. I have never had a more beautiful and clean sound before. It took me a while to get used to these and the dt 990's because they are over the ear headphones amd not earbuds but I've learned to appreciate it now. Earbuds go directly into your ear canal so it's very direct but these are just around your ears so it was originally hard to get used to the feeling of lacking the oomph. But now o just lay back and let it do its magic. For reference i listen to k indi, kpop, Japanese rock, Spanish love songs, and alot of instrumental or classical music (Asian kung fu generation, 볼빨간사춘기, The Fray, La oreja De van goh, Ludovico Einaudi) 100% would and do recommend if you know what you are getting into. They do take a while to break in btw so gove ot 2-3 weeks. I use them mostly only while reading and walking my dog so every day for am hour or so. I got the 32 omh which have an OK Soundstage not as good as the 250 990 ohms that i had but at least these have a nice 3 foot cable instead of the 9 foot cable on the 80 amd 250 version. Im addition these feel great with a not super tight clamp and the earmuff material. Plus if i may say so myself they look very nice too.

Love these for doing video editing. I'm not an over the top analyst for audio quality, but I've been extremely happy with how good the audio quality is. I was looking for a new set of headphones that did not have the faux leather material that eventually breaks down and flakes everywhere. The ear cushion is large and cups over my ears, and is extremely comfortable for hours of use.

I did considerable research of respected headphone audiophile reviews on youtube before purchasing these (80 ohm version.) I could not be happier. For many years I owned the highly acclaimed Audio Technica m50x. These are superior in every way. Compared to the m50x the bass is full but NOT exaggerated., the sound stage is much bigger, fuller spectrum all around, and much more comfortable to wear over extended periods of time. I use these for my home recording studio. They are also my go-to headphones for casual listening to music on my laptop. For this I use a portable FIIO usb Alpen headphone amp, which I get-stick to the back opposite side of the screen. It essentially becomes an external sound card and amplifier when plugged into a usb port. For years I've been suffering from sub-par sound fidelity when listening to music out of my laptop. No more.

I bought these headphones because I love listening to music and my friend recommended this headphone to me. These are the best headphones I have bought compared to Beats Studio, Beats solo, Bose quiet comfort 25, audio technica ATH-M50X, and Sennheiser HD598. I have these for over a month and perform very well. Also, the headphones are durable and are super comfortable. It takes a day or two to break in the headphone and after you break them in they sound incredible.

No buyers remorse here. There's a reason for the plethora of 5 star reviews. I use these for studio work and they smoke anything else I have. I have larger ears and these are super comfortable on my head. I have a pair of B&Os I use for listening to music but after a few hours my ears are sore. Not with these. Now, I'll be honest, for pure music enjoyment I haven't heard anything as clean as my B&O H7s but I did note I'm using these for studio work. If you use these (or any quality headphone) with your computer you'll need an amp. I have an affordable FiiO E10K and it's another 5 star product for the price. Update: I've been listening to music with these lately. They are as good as any I've heard. These are by far the best budget cans out there. Hook up to an affordable amp and trust me, you'll be amazed. Update: 7/20/2018 - After some burn in, these things keep getting better. I've retired my B&Os because they hurt my ears. These are nice and large and the pads are comfortable enough for 4 hourish listening.
