I have about 4 acres of land next to a wooded area & there are lots of animals that cross the yard. I mainly got these to look at animals 80 - 100 feet away & they work great for that. I can also see the huge radio towers near my house in much greater detail as well as the moon. In close spaces they will focus on objects as close as 8 feet away & reveal an almost surreal amount of detail in common household objects that will quite simply blow your mind. I'm quite pleased with these, for such a compact & inexpensive set.

Purchased pricey tickets for the Broadway play "Wicked", which was touring in my city. Unfortunately, despite being pricey, the seats were only a couple of rows away from being all the way in the back of the theater, which meant, we'd be quite far away from the stage. Foreseeing this issue, I decided to give these binoculars a chance, considering the positive reviews, despite the fact they were not "glitzy" and "fancy" like some others with stainless steel, chains, and handles. I wanted something that would be of good quality, even if not showy. I am glad I trusted the great reviews on these binoculars and went ahead and purchased them. The clarity and zoom was unbelievable, especially considering the low price I paid for them. While the people looked like ants from my seat, with the binoculars, I could see their eyes, their teeth, heck, even their wrinkles! The clarity was amazing! I had never owned a pair of binoculars and although I borrowed some once, I was disappointed with the visibility, and was skeptical about this purchase. I am glad I took the chance and the fact these are light, small, and foldable, making it easy to put in my purse. I am headed to the UniverSoul Circus in a couple of weeks, and will make sure to have these binoculars in tow!

This compact binocular is small, light and works well. I purchased this and the SUNCORE 8x21 for my wife and myself to use at the opera. I returned the SUNCORE as it caused me eye-strain, even after focusing both eye pieces. The SkyGenius 8x21 is a better unit and it is easy to focus each individual eyepiece easily. I also noticed the SkyGenius 8x21 gave me a wider field of view than the SUNCORE 8x21. If you need to purchase a compact binocular for the opera, theatre, sporting events, etc., I recommend the SkyGenius 8x21. Yes, it is a little more expensive, but it is better quality both physically when holding the device and when looking through it.

Recently used these binoculars for the Taylor Swift concert at FedEx Field near DC and it improved my concert experience 1000x! Usually huge concert venues like football stadiums have the huge screens to show the artists blown up on an LED screen but if you want to see the artist yourself with your own eyes, these work pretty well! My seats were on the ground level as far away as you could get and even with Taylor across the field, the magnification showed her perfectly from head to toe. If you're planning on using these at a concert, sports match or a comparable show, I'd recommend these! Though, if you know you are going to be in extremely far nosebleed seats, you may want to experiment with a higher magnification, but for the price these come at, they can't be beat! Once you get used to adjusting the focal point on these binoculars, which will come quickly, it'll forever transform your experience.

We went camping this past weekend and decided to bring these along for fun. These binoculars are so compact that I just slipped them in my pocket. They open and adjust to your eye level. The zoom is absolutely fantastic we were able to see the stars seabirds little tiny bugs we had so much fun using these. When we go camping we like to take the hiking trails and stay gone for a few days so we cannot carry a lot of stuff. These way almost nothing in there very small therefore easy to carry a long and I must have to capture wonderful pictures by placing it on your phone lens or spotting the beautiful colors on birds.

I almost hate to admit how much I like these binoculars, because I have always disliked binoculars. But, these are just small and light enough that they do not irritate when trying to adjust the two sides to fit your eyes for a nice wide view. I bought them along with a monocular, thinking it would be better to just hold in one hand as I bird watch both 10 feet and one block away. But nah, the more expensive monocular was not clear and the view, though the same 8x21, was half the size (being only one lens, I guess). So, here I am, very very happy with my Skygenius 8x21 binoculars. I can see great detail on tiny goldfinches at the feeder 10 feet away, and I can watch the very animated mockingbirds 35 feet up in a tree that is three houses away. Beautiful clarity and great ease of use.

Bought it for show watch, and sight seeing. It's very light and compact, easy put in the pocket. It is reasonable power in its range price. Put side by side view pictures of sports field sign an d the difference is straightforward. Overall, I like it very much and carry it all the time outside.

Crystal clear image. I use without my prescription glasses and am able to get an incredibly sharp image using the focus (like, wow, breathtaking level of sharpness). It's been a long time since I've used anyone else's binoculars, so maybe all binoculars made these days give as good of an image, I'm not sure. I just am blown away because the image I get with these binoculars is in such sharp focus...I wish my prescription glasses could give me this level of sharpness when I'm looking at things on my desk or at my artwork. 2 focus tools...for initial set up first use the center wheel to focus for your left eye (with right eye closed). Then, with your right eye open (close left eye), rotate the right eye piece to focus the right eye. Works perfectly for me (my eyes aren't the same prescription). Then going forward use just the center wheel for focusing (both eyes open) when you look at things at different distances. Took these camping and hiking with me last week. Loved how small and light they are, so I threw them into my backpack each day without hesitation. They were totally worth the tiny amount of weight they added to my pack. They weigh less than my cell phone (unless they are in the case, then they feel like they weigh the same as my cell phone).

Used these at the Pantages to watch Hamilton. While my mezzanine seats were towards the back of the house, the binoculars made my seats feel like loge.
