I love the Supershieldz screen protectors

I love the Supershieldz screen protectors. I've had them on two different phones previously with no problems installing or protecting the screen. However, on the S7 being used with a Otterbox case, the silicone rubber surrounding the screen pushes against the edge of the screen protector causing it to lift slightly off the screen in areas around the perimeter. This makes it necessary to push extra hard in these areas to make the screen work because you are pushing the screen protector back into contact with the screen. I believe this is a problem peculiar to this combination, the screen protector could be made a few thousanths of an inch smaller and correct the conflict. ...After I submitted the above review a Supershieldz customer service rep contacted me and said they make a screen protector that is slightly smaller and thus doesn't interfere with the protective case. It seems the edge of the screen on the Galaxy 7 is rounded and a flat screen protector doesn't remain in contact with the radiused edge of the screen. This is as big of a problem as the interference with the case. Supershieldz sent me another set of two screen protectors that solved the problems with the case interference. Problem solved. Kudos to Supershieldz for solving an issue. The phone I bought had a problem and I had to return it, but when I get the replacement phone I will try to trim the silicone rubber edge back just a little bit to prevent the problem. I don't know if this is an issue with other cases.

Absolutely Love these screen protectors!!

Ordering my third set now. Our youngest son has been hard in phones. I put these on his last phone and it took the brunt of his attempt to break his phone over his knee. His screen remained intact. When we got his new samsung phone I ordered a set right away. He dropped his phone with in a week. I thought his screen was cracked again, but it was eye cover. Today he dropped his phone on the road while riding his bike. The photos tell the story. Thank goodness they come as a two pack. Easy to install. Great price!!

Easy to mount

UPDATE AFTER 2 MONTHS: Glass worked fine with my case. I dropped my phone in a parking lot. The case cracked. And so did the glass. But my phone was just fine, so both worked as intended. I then installed the second glass that came in the package. I ordered a new case, different than my other case. This case is not compatible with the glass. It makes the edges not work. I won't blame the glass. Just be aware that the two products are not compatible. Easy to install

I literally put this on my phone 5 minutes ago, so this review is subject to change. That being said, I'm very impressed with this screen protector. I accidentally ordered the black instead of clear, but my phone is black so whatever. It was very easy to install. DEFINITELY take the 2 minutes to watch the installation instruction video. I don't think that my installation would have been as smooth if I hadn't. The guide stickers they have you place on the protector before you install are a big help in keeping it straight as you stick it on. Some might complain about the black edges, because if you look at the logo on top of the phone, the "eyes", indicator light and camera lens you can tell that it's a non-clear protector. Personally, I don't mind that; who the heck is looking that close at my phone except me?

Just got it, literally 30 minutes ago and already installed it. Had a tempered glass before and loved it, unfortunately I cracked it and until this one, couldn't find one that wasn't an arm & a leg. I watched the video and actually, paused here and there since the volume was low. Went on like a charm! The only thing I have a peeve about, was lining up the back button and "windows" bottom so that their illumination was even in the opening at the bottom of the protector...And, and this is petty, but my phone is gold, I like seeing that it is gold and didn't realize when I ordered that the top and bottom were black, but no big deal. Those having issues with tactile use, you must have something on your skin, because I actually have a pretty deep scratch from my keys on my screen that's about 1/2" long and that should actually cause an issue with proper adherence of the protector to the screen and it doesn't at all. If you have dry skin that will cause issues with use of your finger tip (my mother is diabetic, and has rough tips due to her blood testing regularly and she will occasionally have to tap her finger tip on her tongue for grip. Overall, love it!

Black strip doesn't suck & install video is a miracle!

I love these and just bought my second pack. First off, WATCH THE INSTALLATION VIDEO on the Supershieldz website and you can put it on flawlessly in less than 5 mins. Second, I did NOT want to buy the ones with the (unnecessary??) black stripe at the top and bottom, but when installed according to the video you don't even know it's there, I swear. Third, I do a lot of research before making any purchase to get the best quality and these are it. Taking a risk with trying another brand just isn't worth it to me. My case has zero face protection and I drop my phone a lot, so of course I broke the protector like 3 days after putting it on - but I didn't break my phone! It took me another week to order a new pack and change the broken one, and even the broken protector worked fine to the touch (although a little moisture got between the display and protector and distorted the screen some, not the protector's fault).

Definitely tempered glass!

Installed in minutes, is actually tempered glass not plastic, and best of all there's a spare. I had to order this one after ordering a similar product they claimed it was glass but it wasn't. This product is tempered glass and came with excellent installation instructions. Hit fit my S7 perfectly. Note, the Samsung S7 has a beveled or curved glass, although this protector doesn't go all the way to the edge it goes far enough for my case. If it did go all the way to the edge being that it was glass it would crack. UPDATE: 7/29/18 The "Supershieldz" outlasted my Galaxy S7! I had to get a refurbished S7 so I purchased a new kit. This kit is awesome, it comes with two (2) tempered GLASS protectors, two (2) prep-pads, two (2) cleaning cloths, two (2) sets of positioning stickers (three tabs and a dust remover sticker). I literally installed this in lest than a minute. LOVE THIS PRODUCT!

Lucky I had one of these bad boys installed

So my girlfriend and I were on vacation and while sight seeing and taking photos I dropped my phone on the pavement where it bounced (it's in a case with rubber siding) and landed flat, face down on a huge rock. When I looked it at it the screen was completely fractured. Lucky I had one of these bad boys installed. I peeled it off and as you can see from the photo below, my phone's screen was 100% protected! And the great thing is that this is a two pack so I had another one to replace it with right away. This is a great small investment to protect your phone! The screen is very durable and takes a lot but when your phone does meet with a direct force, better this $8.99 screen than your phone's!

Read Instructions First & You'll Be Just Fine!

This was probably the easiest screen protector install & reinstall I've done. Upon opening the package I was presented with a clear instruction to first watch the video tutorial online (I'm glad I did!). I got it near perfect the first time except I didn't wait long enough for the alcohol to dry & properly wipe it off, which caused a prism effect on the screen. Luckily, unlike other screen protectors, its adhesive is only around the edges which means you can clean both sides with alcohol & micro fiber, remove & re-apply it for dust removal, etc. as many time as you wish so long as its adhesive is still okay. The guides strips were very useful too! Check out the attached pictures of my Galaxy S7. It's dust & air bubble-free :) UPDATE: I've been very impressed with this screen protector. What's really interesting is somehow I notice the smudges on the screen just clear on its own (whether grease evaporates off the glass I don't know). On a side note, this added glass cover does affect the sensitivity of your screen but the fix is simple. Just got to settings and search for "Language & Input"; adjust the pointer speed to the fastest and you should be good to go :)

Fits, Protects just BYO alcohol swabs.

Returning customer here for a prior mobile phone, This 2 pack fits the Galaxy S7 perfectly. The product comes with 2 tempered glass screen protectors each with free microfiber cloth and instructions how to best install the product without air bubbles. The tempered glass is wrapped in 2 layers of protection, screen side down a layer of clear plastic with a tab that u pull to remove when u install the product and outer layer of thin foam to prevent it from cracking during transport. The glass is precut to fit the holes perfectly but the top where it says "Samsung" and bottom areas where the Home, buttons are pre blacked out on the glass. The bottom buttons are transparent where the back, and two boxes button are so that they shiny through Depending how accurate you are when u install this your alignment might be off so you probably want to start from the bottom rather than the top. Also if you have a non black color that you want to show through the glass you might not want this product.. From my prior experience with this product on my other mobile,multiple 5-7 drops with a case and its withstood at least one direct screen impact less than 3" without any damage. Extra things you will need: alcohol swabs, some kind of screen smoother like a credit card if you do multiple attempts.. Pros: Fits accurately holes precut, No loss in screen touch functions, Cons: Depends on your level of OCD when installing, not fully transparent top and bottom blacked out, no alcohol swabs or screen smoother
