Must have phone accessory! Great for everyday use and taking pictures in places where you might drop your phone!
I've been using the Wander strap with my iPhone 7 plus for about a month now. Honestly, I really like this phone accessory, and can't imagine going back to a phone without one. Here's a few examples of how I find it useful. I'm a man and I keep my phone in my pants pocket. Having a short tether attached to the phone makes it infinitely easier to get my phone out of my pocket (especially with the silicon case which tends to grab onto fabric). I leave the strap hanging out slightly and it's both stylish and doesn't get in the way. When you set your phone on a counter or nightstand the strap can hang over the edge. This makes it easier to grab your phone quickly (perhaps to shut off the alarm in the morning?). I live on a lake and spend a lot of time around water. I don't worry a whole lot about dropping my phone in water, but when I do take picture over the water I'll put the strap around my wrist. It's nice security and can also help to steady the camera. I will say as other reviewers have pointed out the strap could stand to be a little bit bigger if you've got big hands. Lastly, I visited Disneyland recently and having the strap on my wrist made it possible use my phone to record videos on some roller coasters like Splash Mountain. I got some great shots that wouldn't have been possible without the tether. I lost my grip on my phone once, but it stayed attached to my wrist.

Perfect
Got this for myself and kids. My 11 yo goes off on his scooter to play geo location games and this keeps it safe. My 17 yo goes off clubbing and is a bit of a "bull in a china shop". Shes shattered MANY phones. This allows her to hook it to her pants, wrist, or on a lanyard around her neck (neck lanyard not included). I have the loop ready to go on my phone, but only use the strap if I'm off at a concert or adventure without pockets or bags. Doesn't make access to charge difficult. Used on Galaxy 7, Galaxy Halo, and IPhone 6.

When your immediate landscape gets dramatic
So far, so good. I use this with a Galaxy S9+, The black Horn Beetle case/holster, and an additional glass screen protector. Fit is good enough, but not aesthetically perfect. Chargers fit, but the water tight flap over the port probably won't be. The point is not to drop your phone in the coy pond in the first place. I intend to use it like the wrist strap on a camera, but have so far used it more like a watch chain, with the clip around one belt loop. This prevents dropping the phone if you one-hand the holster release improperly, Touch sensitivity must be turned all the way up and I think I have it on speaker-phone. In any case, you can release the clip and then use it like a wrist strap while holding the phone like a camera or against your ear.

Fantastic design. Simple and secure.
This is such a simple but effective product. I bought a few phone strap options for an upcoming trip, knowing that we would want to take a lot of photos with our phones in risky environments. This was the clear winner of the ones I tried, so I bought a second one for my wife as well. I was skeptical that it would feel secure enough. I thought maybe a strong tug would pop the case off, especially since I had a "gel" case that comes off pretty easily. But it felt completely solid (even without using the adhesive pad they provide). It worked great with a variety of cases, both for Samsung S7 and S9, and we were still able to charge, either with the USB jack or with our wireless charging stands. I'm an adult male with normal/large but fairly slender hands, and the loop was a good size (at its largest setting). I had no trouble putting my hand through it quickly when I was scrambling to get my phone ready for a photo. I can imagine that a larger loop might be appreciated if you have non-slender hands. The price is a bit higher than one might hope, given the minimal materials. But given how well it works, and the cleverness of the design, it's well worth it.

wonderful!
I love this thing, it has really kept my iphone 10 safe, I use this with an otterbox commuter and it fits great, the slight thickness increase can cause aftermarket cables to fit the lightning connector opening a bit snug but i have had zero problems with the fit of the oem cable and thinner aftermarket. overall i will have one of these on every phone case from now on, as long as i can buy them!

I purchased this for my iPhone 7plus and love it. I have an Otterbox case on it ...
I purchased this for my iPhone 7plus and love it. I have an Otterbox case on it as well. I don't like putting my phone in my back pocket as it is quite big but I am afraid that I am going to drop it. This is perfect! It allows me to be hands free and not be afraid that I am going to drop it! Thank you!

Amazing not only for security but also for taking risky photos without dropping
This product is one of the best investments I’ve ever made! I’ve been pickpocketed in Europe twice so on my latest euro trip I made sure to buy a variety of gear to make sure it didn’t happen again. I ended up needing to use nothing except for this wrist piece. It’s not only super secure and safe and convenient, but also amazing for taking photos in risky areas like over the edge of boats, hiking, rooftops, seas/lakes. Even used it to stick my hand out of a fast train window and film the view. I rarely review products but this one is too useful not to.

Sturdy & Functional. I will never drop my phone again!
As phones get bigger, I find I'm dropping my phone more than I used to. I think this strap will help me with my goal to never drop my phone again! Every piece looks and feels sturdy. Like it will last for years with no tearing or breaking. The wrist strap is long enough that I will have plenty of room to take pictures without being at or over the limit of the strap. There is a piece that goes inside your phone case, and I have an Otterbox case, with port cover flaps on the bottom. I had to do a little finagling, but I was able to get this in place properly. I held it against the rubbery inner case in the position I wanted and then slotted those together into the hard outer-case. It sits fine and the charging-port flap is fully functional. Also, since I'm a woman with the terrible problem of tiny or non existent pockets, this will help me clip it to my belt without constant worry that the phone will squirt out of the pocket as soon as I bend or twist at all.

I cant imagine my llife without it now!
I LOVE this! I am currently living in Barcelona where pickpocketing is prominent. Someone stole my phone on the Metro and thats why I bought this. This is the best thing ever and I cant imagine my life without it now! I feel much more safer now that I can easily attach the my phone onto my pants or put it on my hand. Not only does it help with preventing my phone from being stolen again, it also prevents me from leaving my phone somewhere and I can take pictures from anywhere without dropping my phone. And you don't need to stick anything anywhere! you simply put the hook underneath your case and put the loophole through the charging port. I LOVE THIS. THIS IS A LIFESAVER!!!!

Are you taking pictures often with your phone? You need this strap!
Who would have thought that a camera strap could be created for a smart phone as well as this one was? For those of you who keep your phone in a case, which I think is the majority of phone users, this strap fits in nearly seamlessly and offers a very convenient wrist strap just like you had on your small digital camera back in the day. Yes, my phone camera is so good that I am using it more and more for photography, and am leaving my compact digital camera at home. The thing that attracted me to this strap was, I met a girl who had one on her phone. And she had her Olympus digital camera in her hand and her iPhone hanging by the wrist strap. At first I thought it was weird, then I thought more about it and realized how cool it was. Without the strap, I'm constantly putting my phone in my pocket and then taking it out when I want to take a photo. Even with the case, I don't normally carry my phone around in my hand for fear of dropping it. Now I can have my Nikon DSLR as my primary camera in my hand, and my phone on the wrist strap ready to go. I take a lot of videos with my phone, and I can shoot a lot faster now with it on the strap instead of in my pocket. A win-win situation. The strap is high quality and feels secure and I've never had a moment of doubt. For the price of this strap, it's a real no-brainer if you're an avid photographer with your phone! Black Rapid is a local Seattle company founded by a local pro photographer here. Prior to purchasing this strap for my phone, I've been using a Black Rapid Curve strap for my big Nikon DSLR camera with its heavy 24-70mm 2.8 zoom lens. The Curve is great because rather than the weight of the camera and lens combo hanging from my neck all day, it hangs from my shoulder and the strap attaches to the camera via the tripod socket, which also makes it easy to remove if I need to use the strap with a different camera. Much more comfortable and the camera is ready at my side whenever I need to shoot!
