This tuner/metronome is compact, simple to use, and easily portable. It does everything you need it to do, and gets the job done quickly and efficiently. Pitches settle in and register very quickly. I got mine in red so I can easily find it in the giant black hole that is my bag in which I carry all my horn accessories...and lets face it, us musicians usually have everything in black anyways, so it’s nice to have something that stands out! I’ve had the current set of batteries in for months now and they’re showing no sign of wearing down...and this tuner is used several times a day on many different instruments.

Quick, easy, reasonable. What else could you ask for in a tuner? Tunes chromatically, easy to see (changes from red to green), light, compact, inexpensive. Love it. BTW, the protective leatherette case is a nice throw-in! Soft, leather feel, open at one end to allow the tuner to slide in and out. Very posh for the cost of this tuner. One possible con: It has a fairly wide "green" zone...I'd guess about +/- 3 cents (about 7 cents wide). So if you are looking for that "perfect pitch" you've got to gauge where the middle is. For the most part, musicians I know who are that picky about tuning will be tuning by ear anyway...

I was looking for a guitar tuner primarily for my 12 string Hagstrom Viking. I was using a very popular phone app which was ok, but never was too confident that I was tuning properly. When I was looking at stand alone tuners KLIQ and another brand were rated highly. I chose this because of other reviews and quite honestly the price on Amazon. I have been pleasantly surprised with the MetroPitch. It tunes all my guitars effortlessly, including my Yamaha acoustic using a Seymour Duncan woody sc pickup. My 12 string has "in tune" strings now.... all 12 of them. I didn't realize how far off I was in octaves with just my phone until I used this for the first time. That alone was well worth the purchase. I am not a professional by any stretch of the imagination. I really just picked up the guitar again after a 35 year hiatus playing drums. This has helped me get back into playing with confidence. Amazon was great in pricing and delivery and I will continue to search out deals here first.

It's actually a great tuner. I've been playing almost 20 years and latly had settled on cheap clip ons or tuning apps for tuning and intonating. Well first thing I did with the new tuner was check my intonation(I'm hyper sensitive to intonation sometimes so I set it often). At first I thought the tuner was not very sensitive cause it was so stable. But then I realized I wasn't over tuning and having to double back which I've always had to do with cheap tuners more often than I should. So it's just accurate it's not that it isn't sensitive. So back to intonating, the low E was so off that I was really disappointed thinking the problem lied with this tuner. But thought I'd trust it and see were it "settled". Turns out it sounded wonderful once everything was intonated with this tuner, I looked at the bridge and some of the innconsistencys in saddle spacing were gone. So I immediatly grabbed my seven string and intonated that aswell with great results. I have this tuner just before my amp (marshall DSL100HR) with a patch cable and the other end at the end of my front of amp effects (but it would do jist fine in the effects loop if you had no space on your board in the front). I tried the metronome aswell and it works great and is very easy to dial In quickly so more time doing what's important, practicing/playing/recording. I prefer the chromatic settings but they both worked just fine.

Exactly what I was looking for at a great price. I use a tuner not just for initial tuning of my violin strings but also when learning a new piece. Sometimes a new piece will have unusual tonalities and difficult harmony in double stops. I keep a tuner on my music stand to check my pitch until the piece becomes familiar. This is a great tuner for me, it’s easy to read the large display, and not only are the note letter names displayed large but the sharp or flat is clearly displayed as well. The display changes from bright red to green when the exact pitch is reached. Very well designed and built, very compact. Uses 2 AAA batteries rather than the expensive 9V batteries like other tuners I’ve had.

This is an excellent choice in the world of portable tuners because of the metronome feature. A necessity for people who really want to excel with their instruments! My 10 yr old son's sax teacher asked him to get a tuner. Since my 13 yr old daughter loves hers and already had this one in blue for her cello, I bought him this in red. Colors are trendy and they use them everyday for home practice and private lessons. They love these tuners/metronomes! They both also play piano for fun and use the metronome feature on this all the time. Couldn't live without..

Excellent Tuner - with a Tone Generator (across a wide frequency range of tunings, 410-480 Hz), and a really good Metronome to boot! The tuner is very accurate, and gets surprisingly quicker and more stable readings than most other popular tuners I've used over the years. I like the fact that you can tune to the 432 frequency. My Boss TU-3 can't do this (only goes down to 436). I also use this tuner to check if pre-recorded music, chimes, and other musical instruments claiming to be precision tuned to 432 are actually tuned to that frequency. (The 432 music frequency has soothing and healing benefits that music tuned to 440 doesn't have.) The Tone Generator will work across the different Hertz calibrations. So you can set the tuner to 440 and hear the chromatic scale notes in that tuning, and then switch it to 432 (or any other Hertz frequency from 410-480 Hz) and hear the chromatic notes in that frequency. This could be a very useful tool for ear & vocal training. On the Metronome, I like that you can tap in your tempo if you prefer. This is a quicker and easier way to find out what the timing of a song is - especially if your band is getting ready to go into the studio and your drummer is going to be using click tracks. For those that don't want the chirp sound at the being of each measure, do this... while in the Metronome Mode, click the "Function" button and set the Beat to "0" (instead of 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.) and that chirp goes away. Personally I prefer to use a metronome this way (w/o chirps) when running scales. My old metronome wasn't loud enough when I'm playing through an amp. The MetroPitch Metronome has a good range of volume to it - from very soft to quite loud. Definitely usable with moderate guitar amp volumes. Overall you can't beat the value of this device, especially at this price. Even though it's so reasonably priced, the company cut no corners in the quality or the features. Three excellent products in one. The "Red" Metro is an especially nice decorative addition to brighten up any room : ) A work of art !

Perfect. My daughter needed one for band with certain bells and whistles. This one fit the bill and had an attractive price. Her band teacher even loved it. And in less than a month she broke it. You know, cracked screen just like what happens with cell phones. Functions of it still work but she had no screen. That's not a negative comment; it was her mistreatment of it that led to a broken screen. This is a wonderful product and I was going to purchase another before the band director simply gave her one. So long as it's treated with the care and respect any electronic item should be shown it will work as expected.

The product is described well and does exactly what it claims -- it generates tones to help you tune your instrument, it can listen to your instrument and tell you what pitch you are playing, and it has a flexible metronome function. The only complaint I have, which is shared by most electronic metronomes, is the beat is announced by a beep (of various pitches to indicate beat and measure), rather than a more pleasing tick tock type sound. Even a more mellow beep instead of the harsh square wave type beep would be better. Volume is adjustable, though. It is also very reasonably priced. The main reason I give this a 5-star review is I got a confirmation email the day I received it saying they hoped I was enjoying it and that I should contact them if there was any problem. It turns out the unit I received had a defect, so I replied via email immediately. Even though it was Sunday afternoon, I got a person email response in about 15 minutes saying they are terribly sorry, and shipped one out immediately ... and I had it by Tuesday, less than 48 hours later! Fantastic customer service.

I purchased the MetroPitch, and had an issue with the Jogwheel which adjusts the tempo. It easily rotated in one direction, but resisted turning in the other! I was really disappointed because in all other aspects this metronome seemed so nicely engineered. Well, the company immediately responded, and shipped me a replacement right away, which works perfectly. In their email they mentioned a goal of 100% customer satisfaction, and they certainly delivered on that. I think my initial one was just a weird exception. I highly recommend the product and the company. Well done!
