This thing is powerful and best of all safe for the environment. I have a huge driveway and had to buy lots of batteries to get the whole thing cleared. I get about about 30 minutes of run time on a charge going through a foot deep snow. Worth every penny if you're an environmentalist like me!

Excellent Customer Service, I purchased this in October , got it ready for the Chicago storms, then I used it and there was a vibration in the augers that vibrated so bad it was only usable for 15-20 seconds , I felt defeated , I saw my neighbor with his gas powered blower how easy it looked for him.....I knew something was wrong I looked at these reviews and went to the snow joe website and spoke to someone on their chat and literally in less then a 5 minute conversation I explained the issue they sent me a brand new one which also looks like the newest revision of the design and after trying it out this weekend I had regained faith in electric and battery operated snow blowers. The first one was a lemon, I have 6 batteries and I’m happy with the overall power, it’s weaponizing the snow throwing it further then any other snow blower I have ever used. I’m glad the customer service agent was able to briefly help me and do so much with no resistance or doing typical trouble spotting that wastes an eternity of time. I highly recommend the 6AH batteries and to have at least 4 of them, with the size of my driveway I need 6 and it does the trick. No gas, no carbon, small easy footprint, also the barriers work for the other joe products like a leaf vacuum blower and other appliances they sell....

Really GREAT product. So easy to use. Effortless. Astounding. Purchased last fall. We got a lot of snow here and this thing was amazing!. Push Button Start. NO Cord to pull. Self Propelled & It really throws the snow too! Got ice chunks at the bottom of the driveway? Just push the button for lower gear and BAM, it cuts right through it, grinds it up and throws it out (2 stage) Easily cuts through 6 inches. No Gas NO spark plugs to change & no oil to buy. You can keep it in the house if you are worried about someone stealing it (unlike gas powered) it is light weight too under 100 pounds.. Really QUIET! you don't have to worry about waking anybody up. You can use it any time of day or night. Only problem is FINDING an extra set of batteries. Battery lasts 20 -30 min in heavy snow. A service station in Michigan would be nice too. over (in case I have any problems), it exceeded all my expectations. DOWNSIDE The heavier the snow the quicker the batteries go down. We kept the headlights off to save the battery.

I have been using my Snow Joe for a few months. I love it. I was initially worried about the batteries lasting, but they have enough charge to plow my driveway and around the house (twice if I had to) before needing recharge.

have gravel driveway, 120 ft long - also have 20 yr old troy bilt blower that has done agood job but is tired - got joe this year, biggest snow was 16 in -ihave to say me and joe have become best friends - he came thru 7 snows like abull - luv this guy - did the job ,did it good -by the way i changed the skids for new ones for gravel - they work great, not a stone turned - luv this guy///

I have tested this thing in 3 Minnesota snow storms now and found it to be quite a surprise. It works really well, is easy to use, and lasts longer than i thought it would. It's nice not to have to store gas and even better not to have to do all the end of season maintenance. Personally If I engineered this I would set it to use 4 10 ah batteries. There is plenty of space to add the housing needed to make that happen. If you buy this, do yourself a favor and grab a set or 2 of back up batteries. Its only weakness is runtime which is completely resolved by buying batteries.

Arrived in excellent condition one day early intime before snowstorm! I am 90 years old and use battery operated tools for my land. My handyman assembled it for me. It is easy to handle even with thick heavy snow. II do have trouble with the button to turn the shoot. I recommend it for everyone!

Arrived in good shape. Snap to put together. Used twice already and even handles that icy slush underneath the snow. Powers through foot high drifts. Haven’t had heavy snow yet but it does very well with 5 inches and heavier drifts. Easy to maneuver, even for this 67 year old lady. The battery lasts long enough to handle my sidewalks and the 200 foot part of the drive that i tried. Lights work well also. I have no negatives on this one. Ok. Here’s an update. We just got our first 14 inch snowfall. Heavy and wet. This unit powered right through it. It was working on the drifts and i had to slow it down long enough for it to chew through the really deep stuff. But it got the job done impressively. A good investment.

Easily assembled with detailed product manual. The blower is amazingly powerful for a battery powered snow blower. The user instructions on blower usage was both clear and concise. At an age of 85, this will further prolong my life by preventing a heart attack from shoveling the snow. However, young or old, I would heartily recommend this blower to everyone.
