I am a 5'2", 60+ year old woman with no DIY skills. This is the ninth set of these shelves that I have put together. Some of them have been larger shelf units. After the first time, they are easy to put together. I have done them all myself. The trick is to get the first shelf in place. The larger ones are a bit of a challenge but this one was a breeze. I have never had a set come with missing or damaged parts. I have used the wheels rather than leveling feet in all of my units. These shelves meet my need for organized storage in the house and in the garage. I have had other storage shelving but none were as easy to put together, stayed looking nice over time, were as solid and easy to move. Will purchase more if I need them.

I have a large succulent collection that I've got in vintage pots. They don't all need the same amount of sunlight. And they don't all need the same amount of water. And I don't have the time to keep moving individual pots around on my back porch. So, I bought several of these shelving units in black. While they are very utilitarian, they are also good looking. They have been out in the weather for many months now and they still look brand new. I've grouped my pots on these units according to sun and water needs. Then I wheel them around. The wheels are really sturdy and I have no trouble at all maneuvering the shelving around. I can quickly move them in and out with changes in weather. If it looks like rain, or if the wind picks up, or if the sun is just too hot, I move the units into a protected corner. Come freezing temperatures, I can move the units through the house and into the garage, where I've got grow lights set up. I live on a golf course, so I have to be careful to avoid clutter. These black shelves recede into the background of our red brick house. They are hardly noticeable from the cart path. These units were easy to assemble, came with all parts, and all parts aligned correctly. I would not hesitate to buy them again. But we don't have any children or large dogs running around on the patio either. I would hesitate to let these units stand free, away from a wall, if there were children or large dogs around.

Extremely sturdy shelving unit! Our pantry was crammed full from top to bottom and it was difficult to find anything. This allows us to place two large containers on the bottom for pet food and less heavy items above. We can now find things and do a quick visual scan of our food storage prior to shopping for food. It goes together easily and the shelves wedge-lock in place. With weight on the shelves, it becomes sturdier because of the design. No screws or bolts to mess with and it includes both wheels (two of which lock) or adjustable screw-in feet if you prefer. It wipes down with a soft cloth and keeps it’s appearance nicely. What’s not to like?

We simply needed to organize our unfinished basement which sadly is the repository of everything DIY imaginable in one large heap and cluttering up every available surface. These shelves fit the bill! We initially bought 2 of these to place in our basement to organize painting/woodworking supplies and power tools. We have now bought 2 more to organized automotive and gardening supplies. We bought the 4 shelf units in black. Shipping was super fast. The units arrived completely undamaged. The black finish is flawless and all the pieces fit together perfectly, nothing bent or broken. All the parts were included as were a couple of extra parts as spares. We needed no extra tools to put them together. The instructions were totally adequate. The shelves went together incredibly easily. The first set took 30 mins, the second set maybe 15 mins since we knew exactly what we were doing by then. The depth, height, and width really were just right for our needs. We did place all heavier items on the bottom 2 shelves just for safety. I don't anticipate the shelves toppling but common sense deems keep heavy stuff closer to the ground. Our basement is slowly going from messy and cluttered to organized thanks to these shelves. This is a great and affordable product.

I wanted to get my storage bins off the floor and this was a perfect fit. Easy to put together and looks good and is very solid.

I was looking for additional shelf space for my smaller kitchen appliances and found this item. It took less than ten minutes to put together and is very sturdy. I especially like that you can adjust the bottom of the unit (my tile floor is somewhat uneven and changing one side made it stop wobbling). This was just what I was looking for!

We just received two of this 4 shelf unit & two of the 5 shelf (also Amazon Basics) and they are EXACTLY what we were hoping they would be to use in our two Lifetime Storage sheds that we just finished putting up. In fact, within 10 minutes of opening each up and seeing the quality, I immediately ordered 6 more of this 4 shelf unit, since that is the style we need the most. These have the 1" diameter poles (I couldn't get any answer to my question about that earlier so I'm answering that here) and they have the solid RUBBER casters (two are locking). Although the shelves have the longer tines 36" from end to end (instead of the short tines that go front to back the 14") these are well made, sturdy shelves. We've been buying the same exact thing from one seller on an online auction site for about two years (for ourselves & gifts for family) but suddenly, that seller no longer has the same quality & does a bait & switch by sending very cheap replacements (1/2" diameter poles & plastic wheels) ....and NOW Amazon has the nice quality wire shelving under "Amazon Basics"....hmmmm....coincidence? [wink!] I've attached a photo of some of the racks I've ordered....this is just one of the sheds. There are more in an adjoining shed not pictured. In the back are the taller 5 shelf version (two of those)....the remaining racks are the 4-shelf version. Thank you Amazon for making these available and affordable prices!

Love itttt!! Was looking for a shelf for my son's bedroom for his TV and clothes all the dressers costs about 300 bucks this is strong perfect for 50 bucks super easy to put together :)

Most of the bad reviewers did NOT assemble the unit correctly. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS: Pay attention to the black 2 part cones ARROWS, and make sure that all 4 are placed at the same height! I installed the shelves at equal heights, so the count is 14 spaces on the posts.....place a finger there and install a cone...securely. NO GAPS !! Make sure you install all 4 black cones first, that they click in to a groove, and then SLOWLY lower the shelve evenly on to the black cones. Make sure the cones DID NOT SHIFT!! Push down on all corners, and if you are satisfied with the height and you made sure none of the cones shifted....HIT EACH CORNER WITH A MALLET or a 2x4 and a hammer in order to properly seat the cones. The cones are tapered for a reason.....hit the corners !! You want to see the cones show the upper edge clearly through the shelve. If you follow all these steps, you will have one GREAT shelve at a fantastic price ! By the way: the cardboard box that it comes in makes 2 perfect shelve liners.
