Perfect for homemade kombucha

Great bottles. One of the caps arrived damaged and the seller promptly replaced. I have learned to hold a towel around the top before opening my homemade kombucha once it gets highly carbonated as otherwise it can get on the ceiling :). The bottle sure keeps it in though.

I used these for regular bottling like V8 juice and for pressure bottling like Kombucha. Works great in both applications and it's easy to clean in the dishwasher.

These bottles are great. We've used to for homemade eggnog to give out to neighbors for Christmas. The glass is fairly thick and the cork is are virtually spill proof. I ended up buying a second box

ideal for kombucha

I use these to make kombucha in secondary fermentation. They are great bottles. The kombucha gets very fizzy, and these are stable enough to allow it to carbonate but will still allow for release of gas without breaking if they are overly carbonated. Store upright when you are fermenting to avoid spilling (they are water tight, but because swing lock bottles are designed to release gas if the bottle is under too much pressure, if they are stored sideways they will instead release liquid).

We make water kefir and these are perfect. Just the right size to share one with someone or if you are really thirsty, easy to finish the bottle. The Wire Swing Caps make their use a pleasure. I got a wire bottle brush and attached it to my small drill and the cleaning process is kind of fun! I would order these again. Great product. Durable and they just look nice when you pull one out of the fridge.

Good for beer bottling

The bottles are thick and dark. Good for beer bottling. The caps seal works very well and holds the gases in the bottle, and when opened makes a loud popping sound indicating the seal was perfect. The box is well made and closes perfectly with the caps on the bottles, and blocks out light, making it perfect for storing beer after bottling. The bottles size are small enough to fit in the door compartments of most refrigerators. Each bottle's capacity is about twice that of commercial beer bottles. Making one bottle of beer about the equivalent of two bottles of commercial beers.

Perfect for any glass bottle needs

These glasses are great. They came packaged very well and none were broken. Fast shipping. Bought these to bottle kombucha in and they work perfect. Not the easiest to clean if you have residue built up inside but a bottle brush and dishwasher takes care of that. These are thickwalled glasses so no worry of them shattering if you are doing a secondary fermentation. Would highly recommended and will be purchasing more of these in the future.

great bottles

These were exactly what we were looking for. We just are getting into brewing our own beer and we need some amber bottles that were thick and able to hold beer. The bottles are well made and should work perfectly for brewing. I will be buying more of these soon, we will be getting moving soon with our brewing attempts.
