Just got this thing a couple of days ago. I've used it twice. I have an Ameda that I thought was ok. It was supplied by my insurance. I wanted to try this pump because of all they hype. So far so good. It is very light. It fits into my Ameda bag. The parts are easy and not much more to clean than I'm already used to. I love the night light and how you can adjust the cycles and vacuum suction. I get continues let down and get all the way emptied. I put out a good bit more than I did with my Ameda and the suction is way more comfortable. I think this is my favorite. I'll keep the Ameda around in case of emergencies or store it at my mom's for when I travel. But the Spectra is so good, I'll probably take it wherever I go. Only main difference is my Ameda Purely Yours has an area for batteries. This one doesn't but I did by a car adapter to have just in case I need it for traveling. Will try to remember to come back and update after longer use. Oh! Mine also didn't come with any dents or dings like some of the previous purchasers

Why didn't I think of buying this earlier?!

I am 19 weeks postpartum, and have been almost exclusively pumping since around 10 weeks, so I pump a lot. This car adapter works perfectly with both of my Spectra S2 pumps. The adapter provides great power to the pump (I notice no diminished performance at all) and is long enough to pump from the back seat if needed. It was a lifesaver on a recent 5 hour car trip, but I also love the freedom of being able to pump on my commute home from work if a busy day prevents me from getting my third work pump in. Such a great find!

SO BENEFICIAL!

This has been a life changer. I was skeptical that a car charger would provide enough power to actually be able to pump effectively but man was I wrong! This gave me the same level of functionality that I get plugged in at home. Now we can actually head out for a day or on a bit of a trip, I can pump in the passenger seat while my husband drives, we then have a bottle readily available while are doing other things. I can’t express how beneficial this has been for us. For less than $10, you’d be crazy not to get one for yourself!

Now I can use my Spectra 2 while on the go! I love it!!

I am soooo glad I bought this vehicle adapter for my Spectra 2! It works just as well, if not better, than using the electrical adapter in the house. I am really impressed with the power it provides when pumping and now I don't have to resort to only using my Medela PISA (which I already had a vehicle adapter for from my 1st child 6 years ago). I prefer using my new Spectra 2 and now I can at home, work, AND on the go! The cord is nice and long and can extend to the backseat if needed. I looovvvve it!! For reference: I use it in a 2016 Nissan Pathfinder (12-volt outlet)

Life changer for pumping moms!

I own the Spectra S2 which does not come with any car adapter. Prior to finding this, I was always trying to time any trips out of the house to no more than 2-3 hours so I did not miss a pumping session. This adapter has allowed us to travel with the baby more now and for me to get errands done and not have to cut something short to race home. I have found the adapter to work great, and do not notice any difference in the power of the pump when comparing it plugged into the car vs the outlet at home. Cord is long enough to place the pump on the floor of the car or my husband's truck. Would highly highly recommend!

Works!

I bought this to use with my Amdea Purely Yours breast pump -- works as intended! I've only had to use it once so far, so i can't attest to its longevity. EDIT: I've begun pumping while driving to work every morning, so this adapter is now used very frequently. So far, I have had no problems with it at all!

Works with spectra s2

I have used this for the past few weeks with my Spectra 2 pump and honestly, I wish I purchased sooner. I am able to pump in the car, which makes it easier for road trips or even just commuting to work and getting a pump session in. I feel like it works just as well as when the pump is plugged into the wall at home. I highly recommend this for any pumping and BF mamas out there.

No loss of suction and makes traveling much easier. The cord is long enough that I could sit in the back seat of my car. Adapter fits perfectly my Spectra S2. The power is just as good as a wall outlet. I would repurchase and recomend again!

Works great

I purchased this to use with my Spectra breast pump so that I can pump on my hour commute to and from work. It works great and I absolutely love that I can now do one less pumping session at work.
