Worked like a charm!

Very pleased with my purchase. After spending 3 days trying to get my Mother's Windows 10 desktop drive to operate a CD, this external drive did exactly what I needed it to. Very easy to use! Plug in and go.

DVD reader with disc tray, so it can read 3-inch mini DVDs

I have a Mac with an auto load DVD superdrive; if you try inserting a mini-DVD into such an auto-load drive you will jam it. So I needed a basic USB DVD drive with tray loading so I could read an 8 cm (3-inch) mini-DVD. This unit worked fine. It comes with two cables, one USB A to USB B for data transfer, the other is a USB to 2.2 mm 5-volt DC power connector. So you will need two available USB ports, one for data, the other for power.

This came on time and was so easy to install and use.I loved the fact that it is small and I can download my CD's to my computer.Very easy to use. Plug and play.

A nice little machine

It's working perfectly. It allowed me to download an old version of Microsoft office suite which I bought years earlier.

My laptop DVD drive died, so I got this one to replace it. Plug and play worked perfectly, sound and everything. I've only had it for a couple days but so far so good. Nice to have my drive back instead of trying to work everything off a flash drive.

Perfect for Drive-Less Computers

I was recently issued a new HP laptop from my place of work as a teacher and realized all too quickly that there were some things I needed to access with a disc drive... which the laptop was lacking. This product allows me to still use discs as needed. I needed to download software in order to use it; I just looked up a DVD playing option in the Microsoft App store. Once everything was settled, it was easy to use and has been my handy companion when I need to burn discs to the Multimedia Player or play DVDs. I'm glad I have it!

Lightweight, portable and super easy to use.

This was a gift for my Godmother. She has a Chromebook but wanted a way to watch the videos that our family shares via DVD.
