A great value!

Other reviewers have stated the material is thin and "cheap". Cheap is good and while the material may feel thin, it's quality material which feels like it'll last a long time. I particularly like it, because it is comfortable and cool. With summer around the corner, this will be one of my favorite workout shorts.

I have to say I was very sceptical purchasing these ...

I have to say I was very sceptical purchasing these as the only reviews available at the time where amazon vine reviews but I can say without a doubt these match and or exceed any other gym shorts that are brand name. I purchased 4 pairs and I only had 1 slight issue on one of the pairs of the shorts when I would put stuff in the pockets the items would be almost behind me. The alignment of the pockets where off quite a bit. Nonetheless I will definitely be buying more of these in the future!

Great new shorts

I have a 38 waist, I ordered a large, great fit, I am 6ft shorts are at or a pinch above the knee. These shorts have tiny mesh holes like Champion shorts--which I have-, but these cost less but same silky feel I like, plus bunched them up in your drawer or locker, shake out no wrinkles, I haven't washed them yet,,,,I do cold wash, hang dry all my clothes,,,,never use the dryer as I think you are asking for trouble---shrinkage

Great shorts at a good price

These shorts are exactly what I wanted, and the price is a great value. They fit as expected in the waist (which is elastic), have drawstrings for a customized fit, and are loose enough in the legs that if the waist fits, they will fit your legs. My only suggestion is to use round drawstrings instead of flat. I understand why they might have used flat drawstrings, perhaps so they dig into your waist less, but they're more difficult to tie / untie. Other than that suggestion, they are awesome.

Soft, comfortable lightweight fabric...

These shorts are great! I like to wear a light-weight pair of shorts to bed in warm weather, and have had trouble finding exactly what I wanted at Modell’s and Dick’s Sporting Goods. The size Large shorts fit perfectly and have draw string to tighten them. They are extremely comfortable, and the price is reasonable. They certainly look nice enough to wear outdoors for jogging or just for a walk. I’m very happy with this purchase.

a good quality, not flashy, comfortable pair of shorts

In theory these shorts will be for the gym but in reality they're more for relaxing since the minute my husband comes home from work, pants go in the hamper and comfortable lounge clothing goes on. After reading the reviews that say these run large, I ordered a Medium and they fit a 6', 185 lb man with a 34 inch waist absolutely perfectly. I haven't washed them yet but if they do shrink up or fall apart, I'll definitely be back to adjust my review. The fabric isn't too thin or so slinky that the person wearing them looks like a creeper and the logo is unobtrusive. They're a decent length and have an internal drawstring should the waist need adjusting. I also appreciate that they are one solid color and have non-flashy color options. Overall, I feel like these shorts are a good value and I'm hoping the two-pack of solid black becomes available again soon so I can buy a couple more pairs.

A Super Value

Amazon Essentials are typically inexpensive, so it's easy to suspect the quality. These shorts are a bargain. First, and important for me, the pockets are deep enough to carry my phone safely. When I run, my phone travels comfortably and the shorts are a good enough fit that they don't pull down with the weight of the phone, yet they're not tight at the waist or the leg. The material is soft and stretchy as well. I really like these shorts.

Surprisingly satisfied

I have to say, I was not expecting much from these amazon branded gym shorts. I train, run and play basketball regularly. I was looking for an inexpensive decent mesh-like short to withstand a lot of activity. These shorts fit the bill. I am 6'3, 215 pounds and the large fit perfect. The shorts end right above the knee which I prefer when running. For $6 a piece, you can't beat it. The pockets are nice to have and deep enough to prevent items from falling out. I would buy again.

Good, all-purpose

Good, all-purpose, light-weight shorts. Run slightly large (I'm 6'2", 185lbs 32" waist) I bought a medium and they are perfect. Not too long, not too short, and elastic waist is perfect for me without extra baggage. Also has a draw string.

Very comfortable, breathable and help keep me cooler when exercising!

I wear these at work during our physical training blocks for the recruits (I run a police academy). They are durable and have held up well for the last 6 months or so, and we do not treat clothes kindly in our PT. Mat work, running, jumping, all the typical CrossFit stuff has done nothing to them, and they are very light and comfortable. I like wearing these when I run as they allow for good airflow to help keep me cool. Color has held well after repeated washing a couple of times a week. No problems so far and no fraying edges or seams yet. Will buy more when these finally give out, can't beat them for the price! I highly recommend them.
