Nastiness!
My wife and daughter both have long hair that is the bane of my existence. Their hair is everywhere. I find it in every nook and cranny of the house as well as the usual places - the couches, the beds, the refrigerator, my toothbrush, etc. I bought this thing a week ago because I was sick of having to snake the drains and pouring gallons of clog removers down them. I just finished my shower and thought that it was about time to check on how our little shroomy was doing. I pulled it out and just about puked. I was half afraid that a hand would emerge from the mass of hair that this had collected like I was in some Asian horror movie.

Works great with minor adjustments
I was skeptical at first because of the reviews that stated that the shower shroom got stuck down their drain, but I ordered one any way at my husband's convincing that he could solve that problem. Our drain has a cover and my husband used zip ties to secure the shower shroom to the cover. He uses pliers to take the drain cover out and the shower shroom comes with it. It's easy to clean and with the zip ties it hasn't gotten lost down our drain. We empty it out about once a week and it's amazing how much hair it catches.

Shower Shroom and Drain Wig
Love this Shower Shroom for my Tub. Its lots better fitting in my Tub instead of the Tub Shroom. Bottom portion of the Shower Shroom is bigger and better fitting around the Tub Drain. All you have to do is insert it and pull up so it fits snug around the tub(see attach pictures). This also allow more water to flow down the drain. I also included the Drain Wig so if hair does flow down the drain, the Drain Wig will catch it going down. It is easy to clean which I do every week because I have 3 females in household and they have lots of hair going down the drain. I use to pay $200 just to unclog the drain twice a year and that's a lot of money. This allows me to save $400 or more a year and use it for other things. I already purchased another Shower Shroom just in case I need it because this is the Best Invention devised to catch unwanted hair down the drain. I am not a paid spokes person or was paid or given a Free Sample. Follow my advise and use these two product (Shower Shroom and Drain Wig) and you'll not regret it. (The last picture shown, only a week of hair in the drain.) Mahalo's from Hawaii

if you have: long hair.. clogged drain.. black sludge... BUY THIS!!
wow, exceeded expectations! it prevented that disgusting black sludge from growing all the way up to the drain!! it catches all of my hair and we haven't had a clogged drain ever since we purchased it! the only thing that's gross is cleaning the darn thing... but I scrape the hair off and throw it in a ziplock bag with clorox and vinegar and overnight, it's good as new!

Best Invention Ever!
I've been having issues with my shower getting hair blockages for years. I have a TubShroom in my guest bath, and had been waiting for the shower model. Then I forgot about it until I had to snake my shower drain yet again. Lo and behold, it was out and I ordered it immediately. The difference is amazing. My shower drains properly now, and if it does start draining slowly, I know it's time to clean the ShowerShroom. Some people have commented that it's kind of gross to clean, but I don't find it to be nearly as bad as snaking, and you don't even have to touch any hair -- just grab a piece of TP or a tissue and wipe the hair off. Definitely a time and money saver since I no longer have to snake the shower or call in a plumber just to find out that I'm losing my hair. 10/10 Would recommend to anyone with hair.

Works Fantastic
I have long curly hair, and let's just say that my hair has clogged the drain more than once. Yuck - yes - it's very gross. I've only has this about a month, but it has caught a TON of hair, that get's past the normal drain cover, so I think it's safe to say that the TubShroom works very well. I'm actually really impressed. I thought it sounded a little "gimmicky" but this thing is totally innovative. Now I'm going to purchase the TubShroom for the upstairs bath/shower combo tub.

Works like a charm!
I looked all over town for this little contraption and Amazon was the only place I could find the ShowerShroom. Some stores carried the TubShroom or the SinkShroom, but didn't carry the ShowerShoom. We installed a tile-in drain in our new walk-in shower. Unfortunately, the drain did not come with a hair catcher. This little baby fit perfectly underneath the tile instert and catches all the hair that would otherwise go down the shower drain. We pull it out every week or so to clean it out. Works like a charm!!!

Great product!
I have had one of these for about 8 months and think it is a great product. It is simple and it works like they say it does. Mine fits well in the 2" outlet of an "Infinity" drain. I just ordered my second one for another shower. I see that some reviewers are disparaging the product because it "fell down the drain". Well, the listing indicates it is for a 2" drain outlet, so the moral of the story is, if the thing looks too small for your drain, it probably is. Mine rests on a "step" in the plumbing were the shower drain connects to the plumbing. I can't see any way it is going to get through. If I were wealthy enough to get a tax break this year, I would buy a big box of these and just throw them away after a few months of use. Cleaning isn't fun, but there are worse chores. In the future, I hope they are able to improve the product by making it self cleaning. That would be true genius. However, it would probably be really expensive.

Excellent. I have the tubshroom and the sink shroom ...
Excellent. I have the tubshroom and the sink shroom is next on my list. Yes, cleaning you hair is gross. Especially if you have hard water and use lots of conditioners.....I would much rather clean these than pay $$$$$$$$$$$$ for a plumber!!

You NEED this.
You know, you read the reviews and you do some research.. but until you actually use this magical little gizmo, you’ll never understand any of it. One phrase can describe this heaven sent helper, “What in the World?!”. You’ll say this just about each time you use it because you’ll never understand where all that hair came from! Am I going bald? Is a normal person supposed to shed this much? Well, we can leave those questions to the medical community for now. Just know that you won’t regret getting and using one of these. You’ll forever be awed and amazed every time you clean your shower.
