Wasn't sure what to expect but since I couldn't find a universal ergonomical handle to fit my ancient crochet hooks I figured $13.99 for 12 hooks was a pretty good price. I was right. Very comfortable ( I crocheted about 8 hours yesterday! No cramps no hand pain! Yay!) . metal portion is satiny smooth (not as smooth & glossy as my Boye and Susan Bates metal hooks. But smooth enough) and thus far have had no issues with snagging yarn or dragging slowing me down because of finish of metal. Much better collection set than my local name brand craft store (even w coupon) &local walmart had in stock! Very pleased. And since I am a relative novice and I am using basically acrylic yarns (no expensive /fancy / real wool/ delicate yarns)these are exactly what I need to work on honing my craft without hurting my hands! Update: I did find a few hooks that had some rough spots on them and i reached out to the manufacturer and they reach back very promptly and fixed me right up with replacement hooks ! Maddy was really super and I am tickled pink about with my crochet hooks . A big Thank You Shout Out to the folks at BeCreative for stellar treatment !

The hooks are incredibly comfortable and ergonomic as promised - both the biggest and smallest hooks (pictured) fit comfortably in my hands, which is great as I sometimes find my hands easily getting sore, especially after a long day typing at my desk. I definitely don't think I'll have that problem with these hooks, as there's a much more natural fit to my hand. In addition, the hooks are very clearly labeled - no more getting mixed up as to which hook is which! The labeling is also of very good quality, so you know if won't just rub off after you handle the hooks a few times. I like the different colors that the hooks come in as well: they're vibrant enough to stick out in a crafting drawer, and you won't easily lose them amongst other things! The packaging was very easy to open and the hooks are secure in the different sized slots: you could easily continue to store them in the package, if you didn't want to store them elsewhere in your craft/crochet room. I also find it an incredible value to get 12 hooks for under $15 - usually I only see packs of 9 or fewer hooks for this price, so you really can't beat the low cost!

I have osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis and these hooks are amazing! With standard hooks, I'd have to take a break after 30 minutes or my fingers and wrists would start to hurt and my joints would lock up. I can work on a project for hours with these hooks.

Great product! I am 62 years old & am learning to crochet. My nephew recommended these crochet hooks. I have arthritis in my hands & these help because they are ergonomically correct & padded. Thank you! The crochet hooks were delivered timely & the company is very user friendly & interested in my satisfaction.

Great crochet hooks. I would have rated a 4.5 because they are a little bit short compared to Boye hooks, especially in the smaller hook sizes. Besides size, I don’t notice a quality difference between the two brands. I should say as well that I’m an adult male and the typical user will probably not have any issues with the size. My wife uses them more than I do and hadn’t noticed that they were small. The grips are soft and grippy which is great for my sweaty hands that slip on plain metal hooks. In my opinion it’s not worth spending more for more expensive hooks when these work great. Metal is totally smooth with no burrs or snags.

Got these for my wife of 55 years. Arther messed with her hands. She likes them because she can hold on to them without forcing her fingers in to small bunch to hold on to them.

I didn't really want to buy a bunch of new hooks but I've lost some of the ones I'd bought in the past, and buying one here and there cost far more than this set. That said, once I received this set I was extremely happy that I made this purchase. The hooks are comfortable to use, but more important, the hook itself is well made. By that, I mean the actual hook part. I often find with smaller hook sizes the hook itself isn't well defined and working with small yarn is difficult as it wants to slip out of the hook. These have well-defined hooks which make using the smaller hooks easy. I was curious if the larger handles would bug me, but they don't at all. I honestly don't notice them and frankly, I think they make working a bit easier. Frankly, I can't believe these were so inexpensive. Well worth the price!

These are wonderful for my large hands. I got another set first that were too short in length. They ended up poking my hands as I crocheted. I then found this set and they are working perfectly for me. I was also thrilled to get the larger hooks as I tend to crochet tight so need to size up on hooks to get the right guage. Just finished a blanket using the J hook, was able to Crochet so much longer at a time with these hooks. Highly recommend these to everyone not just people with arthritis.

Very nice feel, longer throat means they slide with a nice movement. The only thing I don't like is the fact that they don't have letter designations (American), just the mm. So I have to look at another set that has both ones to figure out which is which. I should mark them with a fineline sharpie, but haven't yet. I had bought a few of the name brand ergonomic ones at a store, and these are comparable for less $.
