Great for open water!

I use this to swim in a lake for miles at a time. I don't even realize anything is attached to me unless I stop, then I'm able to use it, if I desire, for a break. Highly recommend over the bulkier ones.

High visibility, and doesn't get in the way

During Tri season, I swim in the lake at least weekly, and while I normally swim with a kayaker next to me to help keep me from being run over by a rogue boat, we wanted to add this for extra safety precautions. It's very high visibility. The bubble itself is made of a pretty thick material, which I feel pretty comfortable with being durable. I've only used it for one season though, so we'll see how it goes over time. Inflating and deflating is easy. The strap stays in place like it should, and it doesn't get in the way of my swim stroke. It can be used to hold onto and float if necessary. On a side note, the waist strap came in super handy as a race belt for my last tri of the season. I took the float off of it, and used it for the bike and run portion of the race to keep my number on, rather than pinning it to a shirt. Cool product. Glad we got it.

Must have in a rip current!

Purchased for my 10 year old daughter to use on a beach trip. Here in NC there have been several deaths and close calls this summer due to the rip currents. Officials are telling everyone to carry a float in the ocean. So even though my kid can swim, bought this just in case. Her and her friend wore matching buoys and they did the job. They aren’t bulky and don’t get in the way of swimming. Easy to inflate and a good option for “just in case”.

Every open water swimmer should swim with a buoy. This product is simple to use. The waist belt is easily adjustable and the buoy floats effortlessly behind you as you swim, making you easy to spot in the water and providing a little buoyancy should you need a rest break to fix leaky goggles or stretch out a cramp. I like the attached handle for short breaks. I won't be doing any practice swims in the future without this great piece of equipment.

I couldn’t tell it was there!

Just arrived last night and I swam with it today. I kept looking back to see if it was still there because I couldn’t even feel it. I love that it has zero drag and a ton of buoyancy. If I needed to take a break in deep water or got into trouble it would work well as a flotation device.

Should have gotten one sooner!

More comfortable than expected. Don't even know it's there. I swim in open water (lake) often and worry about being seen by boat traffic, particularly when I'm in the shade of trees. With black hair, I always wear a bright bathing cap, but this is great. My 86-year old stubborn dad uses it, too, which puts us at ease, since his hearing isn't good. We'll see how it holds up, but so far, it's great!

Great product

This is great for someone like me who really is uncomfortable in the ocean. This just trails behind me, doesn't get in my way, allows me to snorkle. If it need it, it is right there. Great purchase

Open Water Swim Must

It's comforting to have this unintrusive float above/behind you in open water when you're focused on the training and stroke form. It can also double to give you a stationary rest if you need it while out in the open. Stays inflated for months with no issues.

Perfect for lake swims

Super easy to inflate, did not lose any inflation during 60 minute swims, excellent visibility for boats/kayakers. Waist strap fits great (size 30 waist Mens) and could go smaller. Does not interfere with kicking at all.

Works great and so easy

I have been hesitant to use a swim bouy. I thought it would get in the way. After using this, i am impressed! Not noticeable while swimming and makes a great rest platform to get you confidence for those long OWS.
