Just installed this under a kitchen cabinet. Had to use shorter screws on install due to thinness of cabinet bottom but love the simple unobtrusive design of this paper towel holder. While a large roll of towels fit snugly, they roll quite smoothly and I can tear off a sheet without roll being floppy. Really, really glad I chose this towel holder and recommend to others.

I had the cleancut sensor dispenser and it broke after 3 years of use. I was so tempted to buy another clean cut machine but after much thought, I knew I wouldn't want to keep on buying the same machine for a pretty penny eveytime it breaks. I searched for weeks and finally decided on this one due to its great reviews and simple design. I am glad I bought this! One reviewer said that it would not fit the bounty brand and I disagree. I use the bounty select a size regular roll and have no problems with it. If you use the mega rolls, then you'll definitely have an issue for sure. Though I am back to basics with this dispenser, I still highly recommend it!

I wanted one that had a perfect amount of grab so I could tear off one or more sections one-handed and this delivered. Up until it broke I was using this ugly 70s-era one that came with my house because it worked so well and I was afraid I could never replace it. Now I get smooth pulling action, easy tearing, and some non-funky styling.

I tried one of the "stick on" towel holders on the inside of my under the sink cupboard and it fell off repeatedly. I replaced it with this one, buying short screws, which allowed me to mount it firmly on the inside of the cupboard door. Gets the towels off my cabinet, while still having them handy. The short screws worked beautifully...a solid mount. Very easy to switch out the rolls.

I used to have a towel holder that stood on the countertop and it was very inconvenient. I bought a very cheap under-the-cupboard towel holder and within a short time one of the springs in the arm broke and it would no longer hold the paper towels. I finally decided: I'm getting what I pay for and splurged on this gorgeous towel holder - I Love It!!!!! Worth every penny. It is very sturdy and looks SO pretty, too.

My original review headline: "It looks nice, but it's too tight" My original review: "This paper towel holder looks stunning, but it holds the paper towel rolls too tight. I thought maybe it would only be a problem when the roll was new and very wide, but after using most of the paper towel roll it is still being held too tight and it is hard to turn. It's kind of annoying but I think I'll keep it anyway as this will hopefully encourage us to use fewer paper towels." Edit: I accidentally bent part of the paperboard tube in the middle of the paper towel roll, and I bent it inwards so it was pressing against the knob on one end of the paper towel holder. That was why it felt really tight when trying to turn the paper towel. Now that I've put a second paper towel on this paper towel holder, and I did it this time without bending the paperboard tube, the paper towel rolls turn nice and smoothly and easily, even with a brand new, fat paper towel roll.

This is the second time I've purchased this particular paper towel holder. It seems like a small thing, but I don't like the type that take up space on the counter by holding the paper towel upright, and many of the undermount ones are made of cheap plastic. This is nice solid metal and it holds the paper towel roll in place with the right amount of tension so that you can take off however many you need. I installed this (or rather, my husband did) at my old house and when we moved I bought the exact same one because I knew it would hold up well.

I looked high and low for this product and when I saw Amazon had it I was thrilled. It matches all my stainless steel appliances and it of course attaches under the cabinets. The screws were too long for our old cabinets but that was fine we switched them out and had no problems. It accommodates both large and small rolls.

Like other people, we have tried a number of under mount paper towel holders and haven't been happy...especially with the version that comes with those rubber balls on the ends (major pain in the arse). We have gad this mDesign holder for over a week and we are thrilled with it. It's sturdy and keeps the roll of paper towels in place. Plus it is easy to pull a paper towel from it. We highly recommend this mDesign product.

Works good. Does what it is supposed to do.
