This thing works amazingly well. You just have to figure out the right heat setting on your stovetop burners. Mine is a medium low setting. Two minutes on each side and the sandwich comes out with a perfect light toast and cheese is melted, plus nothing sticks to the surfaces, therefore it is easy to clean. Very happy with it!

Love this! So far, grilled cheese, hot dogs, burger, apple turnovers,egg breakfasts...works as it claims it does! Very pleased! Easy clean-up as well! Great purchase!

Cooks fast!

Makes good sandwiches. And fast! I saw one customer state that the handle bent when pressing the two sides together. In order for that to happen you would have to REALLY load the sandwich. You can put plenty of whatever you want on the bread and it isn't a problem.

A really good product.

I like making grilled sandwiches, but the challenge was flipping them and keeping them together. I kept thinking something like this would help, then I found this. It works. Its slightly bigger than a standard slice of bread and you put it on the burner then flip it over. The only thing to watch out for is any juices that may fall to the bottom and them being slung out when you try to flip it. My sink is next to the stove so I flip it there before returning it to the burner. My only complaint is you can only make one sandwich at a time..lol...

This is great! Grills my sandwiches perfect for me! I have had used the electric ones from Walmart. But it would overcook or undercook my sandwiches. And cheese would melt and stick to the surface and create a whole lot of mess. This one is better as you can keep checking and make adjustments while grilling your sandwich. It is big enough so you can stuff a lot between your breads and it would fit easily in this Flipwich.

Great gadget

I bought this as a gift for my father who loves toasted sandwiches. We had a microwave back in the day that had a toaster rack and it made the best melts ever because it would toast and microwave at the same time? This is a great little gadget! They make some very useful things these days. Dad loves it and he really likes being able to have the old easy to make sandwiches. The convenience is a huge selling point for this item! The only con I see is that it's sized for Wonder Bread. So larger slices won't fit unless you cut them before and do one half at a time. Not a big deal and it's really worth it to have grilled cheese on demand and without any extra butter or frying!

Looks cheap but works great!

Well this is very easy way to make a grill cheese with or without cheese. Note in my pictures I use medium heat, for about 5 minutes and use buttered the bread too.

Excellent product

I purchased this as a substitute for our panini maker. This works even better since you can make so much more, I have made hot dogs, paninis, bagel sandwiches. Is easy to use and cleans very easy as well. I am planning on giving some away for Christmas.
