Super Comfort! 6 month lifespan.

I love these shoes. these are basically all i've been wearing for about 4-5 years. My feet are in constant pain, i've tried orthotic shoes, arch supports, inserts, gels, you name it. I put on these Santa Cruz and it's like walking on clouds. Super comfortable! The only negative is that they wear out in about 6 months. Basically if my feet start hurting again, i know it's time to replace. Most comfortable shoe i've owned though. They run a tad narrow so i go a size up. In normal shoes i wear 11/11.5 so 12's in the santa cruz and i'm good to go. When i get a new pair, my old pair becomes my house slippers for just slippin on to tool around in the garden or cleaning the house.

Great Pair of Loafers

This was my first time purchasing a pair of Crocs shoes. I am very pleased with my purchase of these loafers. During the summer months we go to the pool a lot and I am not a big fan of flip flops. These loafers couldn't have been a better solution to my problem. The loafers themselves are a nice beige/tan color that works well with most summer outfits. I was expecting the shape of the loafers to be kind of goofy and weird because lets face it Crocs has there own outlook on style, but nevertheless I am surprised and impressed as these look like any other pair of loafers you would buy but offer superb support and comfort. The inside of the shoe has a breathable foam liner which offers great support in step. I order a size 11 and it fits perfect, not to loose, not to tight, just right. Just to note I have spent about 4-5 hours wearing and walking around in these shoes and had no issues or problems with support or comfort. These shoes are not waterproof and will get wet but the canvas drys up quick. As far as I have read these are washable but I haven't had a need for washing them yet. Definitely recommend these loafers.

Very good value

I've worn these around the house every day as slippers for the last 3 years. Only now has the first pair developed a small, less than 4mm sized wear spot, in the canvas at the toe of each foot. They are slip on and stay on. I keep them by the back door and as soon as I take off my work boots these stay on the whole time I'm in the house. The soles are still intact, but I just bought a second pair while they are still available. I usually wear a 9.5 but these are a size 10 and fit just the same as my usual 9.5 so I would say they run a half size small in comparison.

Comfort of Crocs with a Unique Style

Absolutely love these shoes. Bought them for my backpacking trip to Europe during college.Very comfortable and lightweight. Even have a European type look if you are trying to avoid the "American tennis shoe" look. During the trip, I switched back and forth between these and a pair of running shoes and I found these to actually be more comfortable for the duration of a day when we walked anywhere between 3-5 miles doing a bunch of sightseeing. The Crocs sole is what really makes the shore comfortable. People are blown away when I tell them the shoes are Crocs because they look nothing like the traditional Crocs but they come with the comfort provided by Crocs. Breathe fairly well. the sole can be easily taken out to wash or clean. They material has begun to fray over time, but a quick clip with the scissors and they look as good as new. Will probably have these shoes for another 5 years.

4th Pair. Love them.

This is the 4th pair of these that I've owned. I use them for everything from lounging around the house to washing the car/gardening outdoors or going to the beach/pool. Easy slip on when you want to just go out to check the mail or take the trash out. Great to wear around the house in chillier weather or if you have concrete/hard floors since they are not as warm as slippers but still have a sole for grip. After a lot of wear, the big toe area is prone to wear out but that's the only wear (aside from normal wear on the sole) that I've seen after wearing them for over 5 years. The inside rubbery insole has finally started to bubble up and warp so it's time for a new pair.

best shoe in the world....with a caveat

i wear size 13 shoes but these are just too snug, esp after you get them wet and they try to shrink on you a bit. buy at least a size larger than what you think you will need. i've worn crocs for 10 years or more. these are by far the most comfortable croc ever made and likely the most comfortable shoe in the world. heres some tips, though. the back flap that goes behind your heel.....fold that down so it rests under your heel. yes, it looks a bit goofy and now the shoes work as slippers but if you are used to crocs, they stay on your feet just fine. do not run or play frisbee in these crocs. the side to side running motion is more than what these shoes are meant for and the bottom seam will become unglued. if you just walk and do mild activity, they are awesome. my first pair lasted 3 years....and would still be fully functional if i didn't play frisbee in them. there is a foam insert which is so soft, and then the bottom of the shoe is foam, so you have twice the foam that you would otherwise have in any croc...and they are 1/3 the weight of my keens (which i rarely will rare). you can wear these around the house as you would slippers and then leave the house wearing them. my favorite shoe by far.

Great shoes

I really like these shoes. They are extremely comfortable and look great. I don't like how quickly they get thread worn though. I am hoping it doesn't lead to them falling apart before there time but I would still recommend the shoe. PAY ATTENTION to the reviews about sizing. I usually take a 9.5 to 10.5 depending on the manufacturer but got a size 11 due to the reviews about these shoes running small. I am glad I did. If I had gone with a 10 the shoes would not fit AT ALL much less with a sock. Take your usual size and +1

One of my all time shoes

I'm 62 , 5 11' 200 LBS . Favorite store are Banana Republic, Macy's and have been in the apparel business all of my life so I know around a shoe store.The thought of owning never mid wearing a pair of Crocs anything never entered my mind . That all changed seven years ago when I was given a pair of Santa Cruz as a gift .As a runner all of my life I have always struggled with shoes being comfortable enough as I have a huge bunion on my right that makes one foot wider than the other . The moment I put the Cruse on I noticed its fit was relaxed and yet perfect . The key to the this shoe is the insert and how supportive it is , I feel I can walk all day and not feel fatigued . Now for how it looks , I love it with jeans or shorts , its incredibly cool . After wearing for a while ( never with sox ) they can become odorous so I take the insert out and wash them seperatly and let dry naturally. What you'll find is they tend to fade and fray ( think a pair of denims ) and age gracefully. If they over fray you can trim them but like your favorite pair of jeans becomes better with age. I'm now onto my sixth pair and own several colors . This shoe is timeless , comfortable ( the bigger the guy the more comfortable ) fashionable and and incredible value at $40. Where can you find a better shoe for the money ? Thank you Crocs

Super comfortable and convenient

This is the second pair of these that I have bought. The first pair lasted over three years of hard summer use before the canvas wore through. I use these for casual summer activities such as wearing at the pool, rafting, backyard BBQ, on a boat, or around a campsite. I hate wearing sandals so pretty much any time most people would wear sport sandals I wear these, including in the water. These are just about the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. I find they provide more arch support than any other canvas slip-on I have found. The insoles are cushy enough for comfort but firm enough for support and very durable (they will outlast the shoe). The shoes are very casual in appearance with pre-frayed edges. They run about a 1/2 a size small; I wear an 81/2 and a 9 fits perfectly.

Great if you have hardwood or tile floors

I had the previous version of these for almost 3 years and they were fantastic. They were a little looser than these and had a padded insole. When I got these, I was surprised that they were much tighter and had to get a half size up. The insoles on these are a molded plastic with little bumps in them, which took a bit to get used to, but now I like. They don’t hold smell as much (not that they held a lot before) and the bumps act like acupressure points. I wear them at all times when I’m at home since my legs used to hurt from the hardwood and tile. Now I can stand or walk around for hours without pain. And unlike slippers, these have a hard sole so you can step outside for a minute if you need to, even if it just rained or there is a little snow on the ground. I’m hoping to have these for another 2-3 years, but I bought a second pair in case they change style again.
