I love this hammock! Looks exactly like the photo and I received it within 2-3 days of purchase. I have bought afew hammocks on Amazon, and they always fade and turn a weird color. So I wanted to pick a color/theme that wouldn't look weird if it faded. It's been a month now and so far it hasn't faded, but even if it does, atleast it won't look funky

Comfy and so soft!

I been looking around for a hammock to gift to my wife and this one did not dissapoint. It made well and every detail of this hammock is pretty . The wood detail make this hammock more attractive. The fabric is soft, love its neutral color and pillow is a good idea, it make it more comfy lounging on this hammock. You can also tell it made of high quality material by just looking on it. I weight 185lbs and try it and i feel that its durable and can carry me! My wife is enjoying her new hammock rain or shine! A great purchase and totally recommended!

Beautiful, comfortable, and fun!

Great hammock! Truly, we love it! It's attractive, comfortable, and strong. My wife and I have used it together (which just breaks the weight limit on this) and no problems. It's decent quality and we are very happy with our purchase. One negative......... it doesn't hold up well when a lawnmower blade goes over it. heh heh.... Nice hammock! One thing to add for those who have never purchased a hammock before (which was the case for us)... After we purchased this one, we also purchased a more traditional-style hammock; the kind that wraps around you like a cocoon. I wanted to compare the two... First of all, the wide-style of hammock (like this LazyDaze one I'm reviewing) is probably better suited for a traditional backyard enhancement, especially if you expect that friends or neighbors will be over and want to try it out. It's much easier to get in and out of and use generally... and it's comfortable and more attractive, to be sure, compared to a classic cocoon-style hammock... The cocoon style (in contrast) is slightly more difficult or awkward to get into (especially if two people are attempting the task) and getting out takes considerably more effort as well... That having been said, the cocoon style was (in this writer's opinion) far more comfortable and safer (once inside). With the wide style (i.e. LazyDaze), despite its ease of use, you pretty much have to stay in the middle of the hammock or you can fall out. With the cocoon style, once you're in, you're not going anywhere. You can easily swing back and forth and relax and it's great. My wife and I took a LONG afternoon nap in the cocoon style hammock and slept like a baby! It was great! Getting out had us both giggling because it was a little more complicated (hahaha). If I was going camping or just wanted to relax in ultimate comfort on a regular basis, I'd likely go for the cocoon style hammock. But for general back yard use, this wide LazyDaze hammock is perfect! We love it and we use it often enough. Even our little dog jumps up and it's funny to watch her try to keep her balance, but once she settles down she loves it. This hammock has a thin insulating fluff between the layers, which (I presume) gives a little extra comfort and protection from wind to keep your backside warm but not too warm. It's fine for general outside use in DRY weather, BUT be warned, it does soak up the water so if you have sprinklers going off daily or rain coming down, it takes a while to dry out. Even after a hot 90+ degree day, I plopped into the hammock and soaked up a ton of water into my pants and shirt that were still trapped in the hammock. Best to take it in at night in my opinion. But as for holding up under water abuse, it does fine... just know you'll need to use a towel to soak it up before getting in when wet. Totally worth the very affordable price. In fact, I'm going to buy another.... because I wasn't kidding about the lawnmower (hehehe). I did run over the hammock while mowing the lawn. It was folded up to the side so that it would be out of my way, but I guess I'm blind or something because I found it. hahaha... Anyway, it actually still works perfect, just not as pretty as it used to be. Go get one, you'll love it!

Looks Cool & Very Comfortable

I really like this hammock because it is "flat" and more like the hammocks I remember as a kid, it is wide and can accommodate people of varying sizes comfortably. It feels sturdy, the ropes are solid and the the chains allow for adjusting height on a stand AND it literally comes out of the box ready to go. It has everything you need to hang it from a stand or using on trees or posts. I already have a stand so I used that and it worked great. It should be easy to store as well, just take it down, roll it up and its ready to store.

Fits great on our 14 ft

Fits great on our 14 ft. metal hammock stand. It came with pre-connected chains of about 12 inches on each end and included two hooks for attaching the other ends to the frame. I am fully satisfied with the quality of the product for the price and have enjoyed it multiple times this summer. Being fabric rather than rope, it is slightly more tricky to get on as it doesn't stretch a lot and can sway more than our old rope one did. I did fall off once while getting on but it was my fault as I had food in one hand and a drink in another. The fall was more of a slide to the ground as I never fully got on. This hammock works best with at least one hand free to help get you on. One other thing, it does not seem to dry very quickly. We had a small shower one night and I checked it the next afternoon and it was still wet underneath. Our desk doesn't get a lot of sunlight but I was still surprised by that. I have started to take it in every time there is a chance of rain.

Cozy, comfy, easy to hang!

This hammock is so roomy and comfortable! My hubby and I couldn't wait to try it out, even though it's winter in Maine, this is hanging in our basement!!! This summer, this will be our first project, hanging the hammock out under the trees.

We've had this for over a month now and it has been a great purchase. I have seen several negative reviews so I wanted to offer my experience. We normally leave this out for a few days at a time, but if our sprinklers are going to be on we take it down and leave it under the patio so that it is not exposed to getting wet and being in the sun all the time. It is sturdy and comfortable and I would recommend it.

very nice hammock!

I bought it as a house warming gift for my fiance. I purchased some tree straps separately to tie the hammock onto two palm trees on our front lawn. It makes our home look more peaceful and we love it! Its sturdy and well made. I sprayed the hammock with a camping water repellent since I noticed the dew made it damp when it sits over grass and also if we get surprise showers (often in Florida) it helps! I take it down at night (keep straps on the trees) so I can preserve it and hang it when I want to relax outside. I would buy another, so far so good!
