My physician who is a gifted doctor who I trust recommended this specific brand after I asked him for a recommendation. I don't know how effective they are but I trust his knowledge, and I like that they do not have a fishy after-taste like some others I had tried.

Worth it

I know it is a little more pricey but in our 20 year opinion of using Nordic Naturals, it is worth every penny. Nowadays it is so important to pay attention to the supplements you put in your body. We have a good friend who is a chemist in the supplement industry and he said Nordic Naturals is the real deal. He feels they are one of the best in the industry. We are fans!

Reduced triglycerides.

When buying nutritional supplements I often think of warnings about the uncertainty of the ingredients you receive because of the lack of FDA standards. I started taking this about 1 year ago because I had a long-standing problem with elevated triglycerides and I read that Omega 3 supplements were supposed to reduce triglycerides. All I can say about this stuff is that, after taking it for about 1 year by triglycerides dropped from way above standard levels to within recommended ranges--about a 50% reduction. Obviously I am pleased.

Omega 3s are essential for many of us...

Great for skin, for brain health, for healing...so helpful I will never do without them again. If you haven't been taking Omega 3s, watch your response for a week to be sure it agrees, and then make it part of your routine. I like this form because it goes down so easy. We take them with meals, morning and evening and definitely notice the difference...excellent antiaging nutrient and good cognitive support. My number one choice for pure, fish oil. I have tried other brands, and I can totally feel the difference with using this brand. My whole body just thrives!!! Never wasting anymore money on crap brands. Once you feel the difference, you won’t either.

They help your heart and your joints!

I really really like these ultimate omega-3 supplements. I was a little hesitant to try them because I’ve had reactions before with other natural ones. But I’ve had no reaction and I feel good on these. I’ve been taking them for over a month. I take these for my heart although I have not been diagnosed with anything. I know it helps because I feel so much better and have more energy . They also help my joints. I was battling some tendonitis and some lower wrist pain at the joint. After taking these for over a month I have virtually no pain. Only occasionally if I turn my wrist wrong. All without doing anything else but taking this supplement. I used to have to wear a brace for my hand and wrist and now I don’t have to wear one. I have just bought my second bottle in a larger quantity because I will continue to use these. I love the fact that you can check out the purity of the product online. They are independently tested and made from wild caught fish oil not farm raised.

Ruptured soft gel ruined the contents of bottle

Opened container after 30 day return window and it reeked of fish oil. I found that one of the soft gels had ruptured coating most of the other soft gels with fish oil. Half of the soft gels were stuck together. Make sure you inspect yours as soon as you get it. Now I am out $60 dollars for an unusable product. UPDATE: I contacted the manufacturer and they replaced my bottle of Ultimate Omega free of charge. Great customer service by Nordic Naturals.

Best Omega 3s I have found

I have Lupus. So I live with pain and inflammation. Fish oil really helps along with other herbs and CBC oil. But I feel way worse when not taking fish oil too. This is the best I have ever tried for over all pain relief and helps lower my triglycerides. Best of all the ONLY fish oil that gives no after taste or fish burps 😊

Three months tells the story

Four pills per day for three months.....reduced total cholesterol from 246 to 214. HDL from 49 to 57.
