A lot better and brighter than what came with the limo studio kit. They are larger than the 45w bulbs. Really help give that extra light you need for pictures.

No complaints. Tomatoes are growing, good price, good light. The package maybe could use another box around the box it came in, which was full with the Styrofoam holding the bulbs nut. I heard the package bounce off my door and porch. I of course ran out and went ham on my mail man (now it's awkward). But the bulbs worked fine. I'll order more as I need for more plants.

I am a professional Photographer and needed new lights for my soft boxes. I ordered these lights and received them in a little under a week, and neither light (I ordered 2) was broken or flawed in any way. I WAS SHOCKED!!! They are super bright and really affordable.

I use these to grow tropicals indoors in Seattle (literally, under my stairs in my apartment). I haven't found a shade that will fit them, but for fixtures I use the plain hanging sockets from IKEA. So far I have lush, happy plants with larger leaves than ever -- the only problem is they grow toward the light and I have to keep turning them, so I'm buying more! Reviewing because I'm here to repurchase two more sets.

Nice bulbs. My fault, but I broke one already. As you have probably already found, these bulbs are pretty big. The overall length is around 10 inches. They have a standard, US "Edison" (medium) base so will fit in almost any socket, but your lighting fixture has to have lots of room to hold the babies. I use them in a cheaper, Impact brand light fixture that has a light diffusor. These higher wattage bulbs put out more light, but don't expect 1930's red-hot glow movie lights. These particular bulbs are rated at 5500K color. I did not test them. Most of the higher-wattage bulbs (85W+) are mostly 6500K which I think it too cool.

Use this to record, I one on each side of me. They were bright enough for what I was looking for. I also noticed they didn't prdouce as much heat as the other bulbs I use to have.

I used to of these to replace some lower wattage bulbs in my photo lighting setup. These were much brighter and worked great when we used them to make a movie. I see that I can still get some of these of even higher wattage. I think I might invest in those in the future based on how well these worked with my lighting setup.

I was replacing the light from my photo kit. The original kit came with 6000K which is still daylight but much in the late afternoon daylight. Obviously these 5500K ones are larger in size and more expensive, but the difference in brightness is well worth it. Photos come out super clear and color balance is excellent. I order 8 of them. Each bulb came in an individual package with heavy foam padding. Amazon delivery person dropped the box on the concrete floor (saw it from the camera, jaw-dropping moment because I knew one of those big boxes was these light bulbs) along with the other amazon shipping box. It was a pretty big drop and made a noise, but the padding was really good and nothing happened to the light bulbs.

I ordered these bulbs as a replacement for a smaller set that I broke a couple of weeks before. I do product photography, so I needed to replace them as quickly as possible. These were a good price, and the wattage I was looking for, so I ordered them. they arrived quickly, and in enough packaging to protect their delicate glass. However, I was surprised at how huge they are! they are easily 10 inches long from the threaded end tot he glass tip, and have a 3-4 inch diameter. I was concerned they wouldn't fit in my light stands, but they did with a little adjustment of the umbrellas. They are bright, but not as bright as I expected considering the size. However, they provide enough light to create the effects I need when shooting video and photos. Overall, I would recommend these bulbs as a cost-effective photography accessory.

I used these lights to grow plants 24hrs a day forva whole month. They did an amazing job, they do get a little warm, and if you have them in a tent or a small room. You will need a fan or ventilation. They came in a sturdy box, with sturdy packaging. I will probably order again.
