From 1970s lighting to something more modern.

Worked great in our kitchen. Put 6 of these up and have 6 more to go in the basement. You will need to purchase wire clamps (pictured) to run the wires through the connection box holes as they are sharp! I used 3/8" but there are also some 3/4" holes (2). I still need to paint where I removed the old fixture and patched the hole too! I have these on a dimmer that is about 50% dim in this pic. Using the 3000k LED bulbs.

Great remodel cans! Great price!

Bought these for a kitchen remodel and can honestly say they are great. Like other reviews only complaint is the tabs that you push in to keep the cans in place can be a little pain to do. Found a couple taps from a hammer does the job fine. Super easy to install. Definitely recommend these remodel cans if you plan on putting recessed lighting. Matched these cans to the 6in LED lights from Costco and they work perfecty!

Do recommend, affordable and easy to install

Really easy to install paired well with another set of LED retrofit kits Plug and Play makes my master closet much better to see in. Put on a dimmer to adjust brightness for early morning or late night not to hurt your eyes.

A Great Company to Buy From

I have used these before, they are of great quality and the price is far removed from what I can get from my local box-store. It goes to show that big box dyi stores are not interested in giving you the lowest price but rather, the brand they can make the most profit from. Btw, Sunco LED lights are of high quality as well. This is a good company to buy from......

Worked perfectly.

Worked perfectly. More then half the price then the retro fit cans for the big box hardware stores. Plus Amazon delivered to job site "Same Day" at the lower price. Easy to install into sheetrock ceilings. To speed up install have a 4 1/4 or 4 1/2 inch hole saw. Once the holes were cut and the electrical lines runs it was a breeze to connect the cans. They come with quick connectors already attached to one lead. Just strip your wire push together. Push the can in the hole spread open the 4 mounting clips and your done. Great product at a great price.

Work with 4" FEIT trims from Costco

I ordered 24 of these units for a whole house retrofit upgrade. They came nicely boxed and we're in good shape in the box. The housing itself has a glossy white finish and standard wiring (for LED pins) in the electrical box. They are not as heavy as Halo fixtures but are IC rated and airtight for a much lower price. Also, electrician used a standard round saw attachment for his drill and these housings went in easily and fit snugly to the ceiling. Photos show installed housing without trim, and trim installed on plaster ceiling. Most important, they work with the FEIT 4" retrofit LED trims from Costco. The pins fit together and there were no issues with connections. The trims fit very snugly to the housings and the end result is modern and fantastic. Can't go wrong.

Easy to install. Solid mounting.

The sticky template that comes with these makes it very easy to install. I didn't have a hole saw large enough so I had to use a drywall saw. I basically put the template up where I wanted it and used the tip of the saw to poke little holes all around the perimeter. This gave me a path to follow while cutting, and it turned out perfectly for all 4 of them. Getting the little metal fingers to lock into place can take a little work, but it's not too bad if you have a flathead screwdriver handy. Once installed they are very solid. Worked perfectly with the adjustable LED light inserts that I got.

I waited for a few weeks before writing this review to make sure they work according to the specification. I am please to say that the products did work properly and I have had no problems with them. The delivery was also as promised, on time. I am a handy man and was able to install the lights with no problem. Its these type of orders and sellers that make ordering from the internet worth doing for the convenience.

Great product

Was nervous of getting this online, as opposed to a local home improvement store, as I had scheduled for the handyman. No fault of Sunco, the delivery was delayed, and fortuately, the units showed up within 1/2 hour of the handyman showing up. Some nervous moments. Besides that, the install went very smooth, all the units worked like a charm, and they had the new clip connectors for the LED retrofit recessed lights. I would strongly recommend the fixtures.

Good cans, great price

Easy to Install. Comes with a cutout template sticker that includes a center hole for setting adjustable sheetrock saws. In this application, I removed a track light above yhe sink that came with the house, removed the round gang box it was attached to, expanded the hole using the included template sticker, and fed romex to each successive fixture. While there are 4 included locking tabs in each fixture, I could only get 3 to lock on each. This was not a problem, as the holes were cut snug enough that the fixtures did not wiggle. My brother in law was very happy with the new bar lighting, and it cost less than $60 for 3 fixtures and dimmable LED trims.
