This clear is AMAZING!! If you need a case that's minimal, light, and still shows you the the beauty of your New 2DS XL this is your case. It fits perfect, almost as if you have no case on. I often let my kids play my 2DS XL and with this I don't have to wonder about bumps and scratches. I always love clear cases for my electronics that are visually appealing and this definitely was a purchase that was worth it!

Works Perfectly

I got the New 2DS XL because I liked the color and design of it more than the current New 3D varieties so I wanted a clear case that would not cover it up but would prevent scratches and other minor damage. This is your basic clear hard plastic case but it does exactly what I wanted it to do. It fit perfectly and being thin and light doesn't add much bulk to the system so it still slides into the carrying bag I have with no difficulties. It does make it a bit tighter fit but it is still fine especially as the bag was design with New 3DS XL dimensions in mind. There are cut outs for all the ports so nothing about using the console is interfered with. It does attract fingerprints more than the matte finish of the 2DS XL itself but that was expected and not a problem. Definitely recommended for basic protection. Note that the shiny hard plastic will probably scratch over time. I personally don't care since it's a case, better it than the console.

Does not fit Hylian Edition

This case is great .... For a normal 2ds xl. I have the Hylian edition and while the bottom fits the top doesn't snap on all the way. I bought it because a few reviews said it did fit the Hylian one. Great case if you have a regular 2ds xl.

Love it!

Perfect fit. I was worried about the case being so stiff that it scratches my DS when installing it. The case has enough flex to gently snap on to the DS with no hard pressure to scratch or chip the finish. Highly recommend but run your finger on the inner lip of the plastic case before installing to make sure ur unit doesnt have sharp platic bits from molding that may scratch ur DS

It is absolutely stunning!

I just can't get over how gorgeous it makes the Poke Ball 2DS XL look. The case simply pushes down the Poke Ball button and latches on securely with no issue whatsoever. It also gives the 2DS XL a more premium-like feel to it, adding just the slightest hint of weight to it. Even better than that, it makes the 2DS XL even more comfortable! The plastic of the case is much easier on the fingers, and it also smooths out the edges of the system which makes it far more pleasant on your palms. All of the buttons remain easily accessible. It's just plain perfect, and I highly recommend it! In my opinion, the 2DS XL even without the case was already the most comfortable of the entire 3DS line, at least for someone like me with big hands, but the case elevates it even further above the others. It's fantastic!

Great for scratch protection.

I bought this for my 6 year old son’s new 2ds xl. I wanted one of the nerf cases but since those aren’t available yet I opted for this. It doesn’t offer an insane amount of protection but it will at least keep it from getting all scratched up. I don’t think this would protect from a fall though. The installation was super simple and did not scratch the ds whatsoever.

It's sturdy and lightweight.Crystal clear and tightly snug.Can still enjoy your special NEW 2DS without scratching it. I am fairly satisfied with this product.

I bought this for my white with orange 🍊 trim 2DS XL. I’m pleased with the quality and the color. Installation is quick and easy. The cover case fits perfect 👌🏻, another reason why I say that .... the cut of the cover case is spot on and gives you clean access to your game cartridge, headphone 🎧 and charging jacks, etc etc etc. Looks 👀 good on my device. I am pleased 😃

Been using this case for awhile and it holds up wonderfully. Snaps on easy and stays put, has a smooth feel that you don't notice. For the most part I forgot it's even on, allows the same access to all buttons and functions as before. I think the smoke gray color looks best with the black and blue model. Nothing bad I can say about this case.
