OUTSTANDING! You do not even have to connect it to the reverse light, just tap the mirror when you want to see anything. This includes while in motion, front or back camera, or both. Clarity is excellent and it really enhances your safety to see what is going on around you when moving or parked. It took 15 minutes to fully set up, including running the wires, right out of the box. Absolutely user friendly and quick. I have a large SUV and had plenty of wire to run the full length of the vehicle. It comes with everything you need to mount it, including self tapping screws for the rear camera. You could pay 3x this and not get as nice a camera. Highly recommend this for the usefulness, clarity, safety and ease of use.

Awesome large touch screen, easy to setup and use! Highly recommend this as the first cam I bought (different brand but similar ) I had to return because it stopped recording after 1 month. It also was not touch screen and not user friendly like this one. The only complaint I have is how it was shipped, it was in a bigger box but had no bubble wrap or protection, I hoped it didn't get thrown around too much during shipping, but today is the first day of use and so far no problems.

Great Product. Works great and is better than I expected. Easy to install. I would like say that Pruveeo Technical Support was wonderful. I had some problems with my wiring and they came through with spare parts to get me taken care of. I got th camera installed and it wasnt hard after watching the forwarded video that they sent me the link to. My wire was alittle short but I would have never known that till i ran it. Seems the supplied cable was short by 3 feet on my Dodge Dakota. So You might want to order an extension cable just in case. Like I said, there techinal support was great. Fixed me right up.

For the price point of this Rearview/Dash cam you can not go wrong! It’s a plug and play type of set up minus installing the red wires to your reverse lights ( I did not do that ) for the led lights can come on will backing up. The front Dash cam is super clear and has way better resolution then the rear camera. The rear cam is still decent in its own right and you can see clearly. I have this installed in a Dodge Journey and the wires did rear all the way to the rear and out side of the back hatch where I have the camera installed over my plate. A lot of these cost between $100-300 and may have parking sensors, gps, and lane keep assistance but I didn’t feel like I needed all of that. I simply wanted to be able to back up and record while driving. I have a 32gb sad card which records about 120 1min videos that is the interval I have it set at but it can be longer intervals if you choose. Great product in my eyes and worth the price.

Pic is backup camera image in a dimly-lit shop. I found it advantageous to cut a couple of 1/4" thick "donuts" out of a foam pipe insulator to install between the OEM mirror face and back of the dashcam mirror to minimize "jiggle." You really don't notice it in the recorded videos, but it is rather prominent when using the product as a rear-view mirror. Only "con" of this product: Lack of auto-dimming mirror feature. I purchased one of these after seeing a short demo by a fellow member of JaguarForums. I fit the exact same head unit and mirror/dashcam/b-u camera to the lad's X300 prior to his departure for college. A couple weeks later, visiting my aged parents for a week or so with my youngest, who had just begun driving, and will be taking over the X202 we were traveling in for school commuting duty, I decided I had time for a 2-day prime delivery to Mom & Dad's and could fit it there, as we'd mowed the yard, re-set dad's flag pole and changed a few light bulbs...neither he nor mom had any more chores around the house we could attend to. I needed something to do other than sit around and get fat, and youngest was excited at the prospect of a backup camera. Fitment took all of about 45 minutes - would've been 30 if I'd routed the camera wire across the top of the doorposts to begin with, rather than going down and aft under the threshold strips, leaving me a "little short" at the back of the bootlid! PRoduct worked great for a few short trips around town to go shopping and top up with petrol. About 4-5 days after installation, we headed home, about a 15 hour jaunt. About 7 hours into the trek, departing a Rest Area in Arkansas, upon startup, the mirror displayed a white screen - normal enough, which is normally followed by a few seconds' display of the "PRUVEEO" logo, then it reverts to whichever camera image was previously selected. Except in this case, it remained at white screen, no logo, no camera display. I reasoned it needed a reset - poke a paper clip or cellphone simcard tool into a small hole on the back of the mirror - but I couldn't be bothered with that - we weren't even half-done with the days' drive, and already rolling on the on-ramp. We just unplugged it and pressed on. After returning home, I found a reset did not correct the problem. I pulled the Micro SD card and had a look at the files. I found front and back camera views were all recorded properly right up until we rolled to a stop at the Arkansas rest area. FIles written after that "can not be played. The file is corrupted." I emailed the address for technical service found in the product literature, describing the problem, reasonably late at night. Next morning, I found Jimmy's response awaiting me, explaining how I should format the SD card. I responded, explaining the problem again, and adding that I'd formatted the chip using the routine in the mirror itself, same as the one I'd bought 2-3 weeks earlier, which was still working fine. In fact this one worked great up until the 7 hr mark. We noted that particular mirror was pretty hot-to-the-touch at the point of failure, as well. Thus convinced that it wasn't an SD Chip problem, Jimmy responded asking me to confirm my name and shipping address and he would ship me a new unit, no need to return the defective one! He cautioned that shipping may take 5-6 working days...but it arrived on Saturday, and my recollection is his email declaring shipment arrived maybe Wed or THur prior. Very good service! In my opinion, No foul in having a defective product. Yes, it would be nice if all defectives were culled before shipment, but this one was an infant-failure of some device, as it worked 4.0 for awhile. You can't blame the company for that. It's how they handle the issue that makes them successful or not. Do they seek to make the customer whole? In this case: ABSOLUTELY! BZ to Jimmy and the folks at PRUVEEO. Yes, I suppose I could've filed a return with AMAZON as the product was barely a week old, and re-boxed it and shipped it back and awaited a replacement. However, I found contacting Jimmy in Tech Service to be a much more hassle-free experience, and I didn't even have to burn any fuel delivering a box of defective product to a shipping point!

Unit will not format my Samsung 32 meg disk. I have tried 3 disks. NOTE:: May 2018, The Prueeo company HAS replaced my first unit (mirror) for not formatting my recording disk, NOW This is something I DID NOT EXPECT! I find that this company really stands behind their product and I will rate them the highest that I can! Ed Lee I really liked the first mirror but it just would not format the disk

I almost finished installing it and it's nice. Quality is pretty good for the price. I would have given it 5 stars if not for 2 problems. #1 the camera wire is too short. I'm installing this on my 07 camry through the right side. Gonna double check but I'm a few inches short of running it how I want. Looks like I might have to let it dangle in my trunk. #2 is the screws they supply to mount the camera are trash. The damn screw snapped inside as it was just started! Keep in mind I predrill the hole into the PLASTIC part. Maybe I could made the hole slightly bigger but come on. A metal screw breaks inside the plastic! I had to spend time trying to remove the broken piece, ended up scratching the part a bit and go to the store to buy replacement screws. Update: seller contacted me and wanted to make things right. They offered a little compensation for the trouble. Giving 5 stars for the customer service I'm willing to overlook the small stuff or say user error. It's a good product. Might want to run the camera cable along the top of the headliner to save a foot or 2 instead of running it down and along the carpet or buy an extension for larger cars. I dont think the screw should have snapped but I'll over look it for the great customer service.

Good customer support, one of my unit rubber bands broke, I emailed request for new replacement. Mr. Jimmy responded quickly, and sent me 4 new rubber bands. Thank you very much Jimmy. The front camera is really good for record and play back, the rear camera is OK for back up. The red wire for the rear camera very thin, so you should not use quick connect to your back up light power wire because the wires are not the same size connection will not good. If you can strip both wires use wire nut or soldering both together, and remember connect this red wire to your positive (+) back up light wire. To Pruveeo: If you can uprate back camera to be HD camera, and have an option to disable or able back camera to record to save disk space it would be a perfect unit, and customers don't mine to pay more for it.
