That's how to get a 5-star rating from me - leave no room for improvement! Once it's secured with the screw (and it doesn't Have to be) it's in there solid. My bathroom outlet is at the back of the counter because the person who designed it doesn't use hairdryers or curling irons or facial steamers or any of the other plethora of weapons we gals employ. Before getting this I was constantly having to swap out appliances and it was a pain because something always went flying across the room (I have negative 2" of counter space). Now I can leave the night light plugged in as well as my WaterPik - the two things that are used daily and then some. I can plug in the hairdryer or the facial steamer or the space heater and not have to fiddle with those two perpetual items. I still only run two things at a time (in addition to the nightlight) and I unplug everything after it's been used (except the aforementioned permanent items) because I'm distrusting of loads on electrical outlets; but having the luxury of an open plug whenever I need it is delightful. I cuss less when getting ready and it's made my bathroom routine far more pleasant.

These adapters work great everywhere you need to add some extra outlet space. I have purchased 6 of these for my house because they work so great and aren't too bulky on my walls. Yes, they do protrude from the walls, but they aren't an eye soar. I have every outlet used on the one in my office room. I also put these in my bedroom, living room, and bathroom. Have had zero issues with them since owning them for over 6 months. They do require you to remove any outlet faceplates prior to plugging in, but they come with a center screw to secure to your outlet so they don't wiggle around when plugging and unplugging devices. I have tried several other types of adapters before this one and they are all subpar now. I have since replaced those old adapters with this adapter. I definitely recommend this for anyone looking to add some extra outlet space in any area of your home.

Exactly what I was looking for. I had another one with all of the six outlet adapter in two rows and in reality I could only fit four at most, with this one you can actually fit all six. Thanks

This item works great. But here are some facts. - Like other customers have mentioned it only plugs into the top outlet. (That is, if you have your ground wire on the bottom of the outlet, then the top. If your ground wire is above, then it only works with the bottom outlet.) So if one of your outlets is controlled by a light switch, this will affect you. - This outlet comes with the option to install permanently. For this to work, your outlet must have a center screw hole between the two plugs. This product will still work fine without being installed permanently. - This product will not work with ground fault outlets. These are the outlets you typically see next to the sink in most bathrooms that have the "reset" and "test" buttons on them. This is because on the back of the Adapter there is a plastic numb that would fit into the bottom ground socket. The spacing is different on the ground fault outlets verses a standard outlet. You could experiment with cutting off the plastic numb, but this will weaken the security of the adapter to the wall. Also, with the ground fault outlet you will not be able to install permanently as mentioned above. Other then that, this product is as described and works great. Any item that is plugged into this item fits securely into the adapter. If I would have known these facts before I purchased, I would not have bought this item, as I am unable to place the item where I wanted to. But this is still a good item.

Works great so far. You can either remove your existing plate and use the center screw to screw this right into your existing receptacle. Or you can simply plug it in with the existing wall plate in place. There's a small gap between the outlet and the wall. But it's really small. I simply plugged mine in and it works great.

I've got two of these - one in the bedroom and one in the office room in my home. They work great so far and I consider them an upgrade over flat outlet expanders like the ones Belkin makes, since you can plug items in from the sides (at a slight angle) as well as the front. They come with a screw in the middle for fastening them to you outlet if you have that kind, but I've had no issues using the product without screwing it in.

Easy to install it directly into the outlet plug in my living room and it easily fit the standard outlet plastic cover. The white plastic prong slides into the bottom 'grounding' hole nicely, and the blades are securely fitted inside, no gaps. This was slightly smaller and less depth than the one I bought at the same time as this one, but that's possibly because the other one also had a "resettable circuit breaker" built inside it (GE Grounded 6-Outlet, 56575). I was pleased to see I didn't need to permanently install it as it is very stable and the shape of it really hugs the wall. Woohoo!! Unfortunately, neither of the two different types of 6-Outlet Wall Taps work for my bathroom because it has a GFI type that is inset inside (great idea), BUT the spacing and the plastic prong are off for the both types of GE Grounded Outlet. Look elsewhere for bathroom solutions. I know people have cut the prongs off, bent the blades to force it to work, etc., but no thank you. I found the old style bulky 3 outlet T-shaped plugs are much safer, and two of those give you the number of useful outlets without messing with the GFI, blades, or other adaptions for older buildings. I'll update this review annually after I've seen how durable it is, and adjust my rating up or down accordingly. If you found my review helpful, please check the helpful box. Thanks!

For the price I couldn't believe these things! I bought two for places I knew I needed them but ended up using those in other outlets and had to order a few more. Some of the bigger plugs don't fit well on the sides (not the plastic part, the metal plug) and have to be forced but they get in there and the appliances work just fine. They also look kinda funny since they go over the original plate but hey, they work! I saw others that weren't nearly as versatile that cost more. You should note that this cannot be plugged into one part of the outlet though, it HAS to cover the entire outlet. So far, I haven't found a combination of plugs that don't fit into this all at once, considering you have room for them on the sides (see pic of spot too narrow).

We replaced our flat (non-angled) 6-outlet tap with this one because 2 transformers (those big brick plugs) monopolized most of the space, so we couldn't use all 6 outlets. This outlet solved our problems! We were able to plug in two transformers on either side and are able to use all 6 outlets now. The outlet itself doesn't protrude much more than our flat one, but with every outlet used, it does like kinda busy since plugs are going out from every angle. I would suggest hiding it behind something to avoid the unsightlyness. We also chose this one because it has an internal circuit breaker (chosen over this one: www.amazon.com/GE-Grounded-Adapter-Spaced-Six-Outlet-Tap/dp/B0009HKEXM/). Although we have a circuit breaker in our home, this adds another layer of protection. With so many things plugged into, you don't know if something will draw too much power, but when it does, it won't disrupt the whole area of your home and only be contained to whatever is plugged into this outlet tap. Exactly what we were looking for.

This works very well and is totally flush with the wall if you perform the following steps: 1) Remove the original face plate from your double-outlet 2) Tighten the two screws on the outside of the double outlet as much as you can to ensure they are as recessed as possible (may require some trial and error) 3) Plug in the new wall adapter. If it's not flush with the wall, remove it again and repeat step 2 until it sits flush 4) Insert the long screw and tighten it
