These should work well when placing things on the roof rack, the step is stable and holds the weight of the person stepping on it, fold up, out of place and stay in place Easy install, went on in about 30 minutes

I tried to remove my stock hinge bolts with the little Jeep kit at first. Didn’t budge, so I ended up biting the bullet and buying a ratchet Torx kit from Amazon ($15 was a great price for it too) and then install was super easy. These look great and really give the Jeep a rugged and utility feel while being functional and useful. Remember to buy two sets if you have a 4 door.

The pair of steps look great and were very easy to install. The pair (2) of steps are well made you won’t regret buying them. Remember if you want two order one, if you want four order two. Lol

Easy install. Follow the instructions inside package as well may You tube videos on install. I did too himge 1st, then moved to bottoms hinge, no door aligniment issues.

good product. A bit vague on the install instructions. as to the cone spacers provided.. Overall a good sturdy step. I'm 6'5" 225 and it holds me just fine!

I really like these steps for my 2015 Jeep JK. I have a roof rack and these make it possible for me to get up on top of the vehicle. They stay in place without issue - note that you can adjust the stiffness of the hinge to your liking. They look great too, as I am constantly getting asked about them. I still haven't tried the bottle opener yet (but who camps with bottles? :)). Install was pretty straightforward. Be sure to support the door well with wedges and tape so I'd doesn't shift when you remove the hinge bolts. Also, my tiny T50 bit was no match for the factory painted on bolts. Go get a $2 socket version from your home store - same bit works on the roof bolts. I started with 2 steps but added two more to enable me to straddle them when getting to the roof rack.

I love the Smittybilt 7630 JK Atlas Door Steps for Jeep JK. We usually have a rooftop tent on (picture has our kayak). These allow us to pack up our tent much easier. They are incredibly sturdy and hold me up easily. They were extremely easy to install. Decided we needed to install only on the back door in order to reach our tent.

Works very well, very sturdy, holds a lot of weight easy to install by ones self. Very happy with this product

Very sturdy and easy install. I used multiple layers of cardboard strips on the bottom and sides of the door to hold the door in place for install on my 2018 JLU. I had seen pictures online of people using these on JL's so I took the chance and it paid off. A beaker bar was needed to remove the T50 hinge bolts, but they are M8 threads like the T40 bolts supplied.

These are robust and don’t have any flex which is what I was concerned with. Works great and install was easy-because I took the doors off rather than the Mickey Mouse messing around with taping and shimming and all that Jazz the instructions show. Why they don’t suggest taking the doors off to get the weight off them is beyond me!! Way easier! They do supply longer bolts but they are 20 vs 40 so have your torch kit ready. As long as the finish doesn’t flake off as I’ve heard people complaining about these should be great.
