Product is well made. Have not used it yet. Just a comment some gauge hoses still use the r-12 fitting size so pay attention to your gauges otherwise you will need a 1/4" female flare to the 1/2" for the old style hose. Some of the new gauges still come with the r-12 style connectors.

was a little worried seeing all these reviews of the valve not working. it's pretty simple, screw it down to close valve and pierce can, unscrew it out to release the r134a. simple as that, works as advertised. I used this with my ac manifold gauge kit on the yellow line, when i had to open the red or blue side valves for whatever reason, never seen or heard any leakage from the yellow side, it held up well. With can on, works as advertised to feed blue line r134a.

For those that wote a poor review, I understand. My first try I had difficulty getting refrigerant to flow. But after a few tries I learned the valve on can of refrigerant has a 'sweet spot' that allows refrigerant to flow. Once you've pierced the can, you back the needle off until you can hear/feel the can release. A sight glass on the refrigerant manifold is helpful, because you can see liquid refrigerant flowing through the guage. If your having trouble, don't let your ignorance ruin this sellers reputation.

I ordered the whole vacuum and gauge kit from another vendor, but it didn't have the item I purchased from you, go figure the one piece most needed and it's not present. So I will finish what I started last Saturday, on this Saturday coming.

I love the overall design of this item since i only needed 80% of the 16 oz can. This has safety built into it and I can keep the remaining contents of the can without releasing the refrigerant into the atmosphere. I believe this is the reason why certain users noted refrigerant doesn't flow into the hose the moment the can is punctured because the handle was not turned counter-clockwise to let the refrigerant out of the can. This simply means the valve is effectively closed.

The specs on the site described it exactly. This was what i needed to upgrade my old r12 set to function with the r134 coupler upgrade i purchased so now i can add freon r134 with my old r12 gage set. Works fine and screws on the standard r134 can. It was shipped fast and on time..Well made and sealed in blister pack so the gasket stays with it until you get it.

It could or be easier to use. Great product. It was exactly as advertised. It did the job the no trouble at all. Thanks for making this Quality product so affordable.

This worked great. It was exactly what I needed at a great price. Didn't advertise this, but the valve I recieved was a name brand (A/C Pro) whose products I have used before with great satisfaction. Well built with solid construction, threads fit and seated properly for a good tight seal. Point on valve easily pierced the seal on the can. Shipping was VERY fast (received it a day and a half after ordering- a day earlier than expected!). Satisfied with this product and this retailer.

Works as advertised. Don't screw it on the refrigerant bottle to tight or you wont get any flow other than that it works fine

The valve is well made, seals well to the can and is easy to use. The only issue I had was as I used it the valve became harder to use because the rubber packing ring on the valve stem was dragging on the stem. I removed the valve stem and wiped it with a drop of two of compressor oil and it now turns very easy. Good product at a good price.
