A work in progress
Our dog is already potty trained, but we were looking for a better way for her to let us know when she wants to go out or back in the house. Right now, she jumps and paws at you to go out and scratches on the door to come in. The two pack is great because we can hang one inside and one out. The bells seem well made, so should last outside for some time. They are large and seem durable, as our dog is petite but not too gentle. She is learning to occasionally use the bells to go out, but we are still working on coming in.

Amazing!
I have a 12 wk old black lab. She’s done well with potty training but doesn’t make any noise to let you know she needs to go out. She just sits at the door until you notice her. I thought these bells would be worth a try. Immediately after hanging them on the door, she touched them when she needed to go out. Now she hits them and sits until you let her out. These bells are a miracle! She only goes to them if she needs to go potty. I’m glad there were two so she has one in our camper.

Not For Us...At Least Not With This Puppy
This sounded like such a great idea so after having hit and miss luck potty training our 9 week old Bichon Frise, I bought these bells. They are attractive and they are extremely well made. But...they are not for us. They may work for you. They even worked for us for about a week... Then our puppy decided they were her personal room service bell!!! If she needed a treat, she rang the bell. If her food bowl was empty, she rang the bell. If she ran out of water, she rang the bell. If she wanted to play, she rang the bell. If she couldn't see me (as in, I was in the powder room), she rang the bell... Oh, and if she needed to go out to potty, she rang the bell. LOL!!! Smart puppy but drove us nuts! I'll potty train the old fashioned way and use these great bells for Christmas decor.

Big bells
Bought two of these for my 96 year old Dad's walker so I can hear him. I put them on each side, loosely, so when he moves, I know it. He gets confused at times, so I need to be aware at all times what he is doing. These are large bells, not loud, but I can hear when his walker moves. These would be louder if a dog was batting at them, would create more movement. I also hope they make noise when Dad falls at night, so I can hear the walker falling when he goes down. These sre on durable cloth/nylon tape, so will last for a long time.

The best way to train your dogs to go outside
Really, my pitbull is dumb. She's lovable and a great dog, but stubborn and difficult to train. However, I honestly have to say that using bells to potty train her was the only painless training process we've embarked upon. She picked it up really quickly, and I've decided I'll never use another method for potty training a puppy. It's nice having the extra set of bells, because I can put it in her travel pack when she stays with one of the kids for a weekend. They hang it up on their door and she knows exactly what to do. Highly recommended.

I ordered 6 brands of bells to make sure we could hear them. After a side by side comparison these were the loudest and were our keepers, even compared to some more popular choices. Didn't need to dog bowl with it, so donated it. But these would be the bells we would get again if needed.

Easy To Use & Well Made!
Great deal on these doggy doorbells. I found numerous listings for $9-14 for one but got two of them plus the collapsible bowl for $8 through this seller. My biggest concern with these was that they were not going to hang well on a sliding glass door, but they work just fine. My 2.5-month-old puppy uses them with ease (the lowest set of bells hangs to about 3-4 inches above the floor in my home). They're well made -- the stitching is nicely done and they appear to be very durable. Best of all, my dog really likes them and quickly associated going outside with the word "Potty" and the sound of the bells ringing.

TANGLE FREE!
I always despise my dog's leash because he always plays with it and gets it tangled all the time. I have tried one retractable leash before and it broke on my at day 2. This product feels more durable than my last one. It's so easy to retract and the mechanism locks pretty good even if my dog keeps on pulling on me when we walk. lol! handle is just about the right size for me. so far i am very happy with this product! oh and did i say it's tangle free?! 5 stars!

Easy Training Method
Used in an apartment to train our puppy starting at 10 weeks and he picked up in one week. He wasn't giving up any other clear signals to go out. Still uses them consistently at 5 months old. We used the ring of the middle bells to lift/hook bells out of reach while he was still learning. Didn't buy these for the bowl, but it has been used during car trips and will come in handy during summer outings.

Happily potty trained
Love this! My dog learned so quickly that ringing the bell meant to go potty. I only had to show her and say potty a couple of times and she picked it up. Of course, now she overuses it and jumps on the bell every 20 minutes to go "potty" because she knows I'm scared she will poo on the floor....so if you're not afraid of manipulation, these bells are for you
