Little Light Shines Bright

I bought this light to use at my stitch group meetings. The room we use doesn't have enough light for me and I am taking a trip later this month so I looked for a small, folding light for traveling. So far, this light meets my needs. I use it with the four AA batteries and find the highest setting is perfect for me to see my stitches and the color variations (I am working on a white on white piece). I have yet to try it with the plug in but will. So far I am very happy with my purchase. I will update my review later this month after my trip.

Great Portable Lamp

PROS: COB strip lamp is noticeably brighter than the 24-LED lamp of the same size/design. Folds down compactly, so great for travel. Also, the way the lamp folds down, it protects both the lamp and the touch-sensor switch. Lightweight and portable, providing a brilliant white light wherever you need extra illumination. Uses readily-available 4AA batteries, which is a major PLUS for me, over fancier, more expensive, rechargeable portable lamps that will eventually die, with rechargeable batteries that do not appear to be replaceable...at least not easily. CONS: Touch sensor switch. Personally, I prefer click switches, but so far this one has worked fine, so acceptable.

Folds flat and works well!

Ok thx is just what I needed! I’ve been looking for a portable light for working at a desk when I travel and all I found is bulky things that didn’t fold flat like they said they would or things that had to be plugged in to my computer. This is small and mighty and folds flat and thin. It will be traveling in my computer bag from now on. It also has different levels of brightness, too. It can run on batteries or be plugged in. I’m probably going to get another one because this thing would be handy in a lot of situations. I really appreciate this light and it’s design.

A treasure of quality illumination for desk, pocket, camera bag, etc.

What a beautiful, bright, and very versatile LED light. The light is very even, nicely colored balanced, and I have even used it to illuminate small objects for photographs. It takes up so little space that I have it on my desk to use for an endless variety of tasks that used to be easier to see when my eyes were much younger. It saves getting out the ole headlamp for close work and it's light intensity is effortlessly touch controlled with the 3 steps of brightness, perfect for bright - brighter - brightest.

A Wow Lamp.-

Just what needed to illuminate nicely a very remote keyboard and mouse combo when don't want a full bedroom illumination. It's used with 4 AA rechargeable 2600 Mah bats which adds added weight to lower bottom to stay standing upright while fully extended. First or second setting is sufficient for full keyboard illumination and less eye strain while working on a dark bedroom. It's ideal as a side nightstand too. To turn lamp on just touch lightly with finger tips around O middle switch, touching it again and again will increase light intensity and use all 3 light levels to suit your particular illumination needs. If using lamp with rechargeable batts bear in mind that if any of the 4 batts fails during operation light intensity will drop exponentially and won't be able to increase its intensity if on first or second light setting. Will need a batt tester to check which rechargeable batt failed, If you think it's a lamp failure connect supplied charger and press switch 3 times to check 3 light levels intensity, if OK you're good to go. A highly recommended portable lamp for bedroom use and travel.

Great product

This is a great product especially for someone with limited visibility. I only have 10% vision and in shadow your dark spaces I can’t see hardly at all specially dark restaurants you can put this in your pocket take it with you set it up at the table and you got your own personal lite. The only negative I have to say is it didn’t come with any instructions and it really doesn’t need any except I wasn’t sure whether or not I could charge alkaline batteries I’m trying it now and see what happens

Powerful, Compact, and Sturdy.

I have tried a number of different portable lamps. I depend on them for reading, when on the computer, as well as when traveling. I can read or use my I-pad without disturbing my wife. The TOMOL light is the finest I have found. It folds up to about the size of a deck of playing cards. The three light intensities are perfect. The lowest setting is all that I have needed, thus far. The medium and high are bright settings incredible. These lamps provide an intense, but concentrated, beam that focuses on whatever you are reading or working on. The adjustable arm is sure and sturdy and stays at the height where you set it. I have now purchased 4 of these and they got a good work out yesterday when intense storms left us without power. I can see the real possibility of my ordering many more. This was a great purchase!

3 settings and 2 power options; good book light

I like this lamp because it has 3 settings and 2 power options. I have not tried the USB power yet. But it works great with the AA batteries I put into it. I like the feel of it when it's folded up. I'm using it as a book light because I can never seem to get actually book lights to work very well for me. This folds and conforms very well without my having to hold it the entire time.

A winner!

A very versatile lamp for the normal things you might do. The three light brightnesses are well chosen. The almost infinite number of positions and aiming you can choose make it very versatile. I do a lot of projects and I have a lot of different “project” lights I have accumulated, and this one by far the best I’ve found. It is especially useful when working on items housed in a cabinet such as electronic equipment. It’s the first light I have found that can sit on a cabinet top and place it’s light emission to cover the entire inside or back of the cabinet. I highly recommend it.

Definitely buy this

I use this desk lamp every night at my third shift job and while I was nervous about the price point, it has proven to be a GREAT deal! It is really only good for one night (8 hour shift) on battery power alone, but if you can plug it into an outlet, it's unlimited in its power and brightness. Sturdy construction that gets unfolded and refolded every night with no issues, and it is much cuter than some of the other desk lamps out there! If you need to illuminate your work station, do yourself a favor and buy this.
