I bought the poacher because my daughter loves eggs Benedict. It’s a nice, well-made, heavy pan, and the egg cups are truly nonstick. I do butter them a little for flavor. We like our eggs with pretty firm yolks, so I cook them for five and a half minutes. They come out perfect!

Absolutely perfect poached eggs. Bring water to a steady simmer, drop up to 1 jumbo egg into each pod, set timer for 5 minutes. Viola done, they slide out very easy from this cooking pan.

I had some of the silicone molds that floated in water, but they were hard to clean and hard to put into the water without spilling the egg. This pan is great! I do put pan spray in the egg cups to make sure they don't stick, but they clean up easily. I've made poached eggs several times since getting this and the clean up is just to put the little egg cups in the dishwasher and pour the water out of the pan. Makes great poached eggs very easily!

This poacher is simple, and seems pretty good quality. The glass lid fits well, and the eggs cook nice and evenly. It's easy to pick up the egg cups with a standard pair of tongs, and the eggs slide right out (no need for the included little spatula.) The pan itself, when the insert that holds the cups is removed, seems like it would double as a nice reduction pan or something similar. Our old (as in early 1900's) alumin-ish one, the cups barely held an extra large egg where these have no problem. It's nice and very easy to use.

I was very pleased with this. It has nice weight and is sturdy. The cups are deep enough for extra large eggs. The flat bottom works very good on our flat cook top. What I do like most, is that the eggs just slide/pour out when finished. No more tedious scrubbing of the egg cups after cooking. I use a little butter in the cups before I put the eggs in. As the water starts to boil a little, I turn the heat down to a slow boil, then place the cups in the pan and go about 4 1/2 minutes for a soft center. probably a minute more for a firm yolk.

I love this set. The day I received it, I washed it and used it right away. In about 4 minutes you have soft poached eggs and in 5 to 6 minutes they are hard yoke poached eggs. They slide right out of the little cup onto your plate. I don't even have to use the little utensil that comes with it. This is the best egg poacher I have ever owned. And clean up is a breeze. I hand wash it as I do with all my pots and pans. Nothing sticks so clean up is very easy. I am going to order one for my sister in a couple of weeks.

I am impressed with the heavy duty pan and teflon coated egg cups. This is well worth the price. The instructions take way too long to cook if you use low heat. I bring the water to a boil and then add the cups with eggs insude. I turn the electric range dial down to 2 and they cook fast and the yokes are runny as I prefer them. If you turn it down to LOW as suggested it takes 7-8 minutes to cook vs. 2-3 at my range number 2 setting. I jiggle the pan every so often to make sure the eggs are still runny and not hard.

Ive used poachers for the last 30 years, without a doubt the key is the cups the egg sits in. A true poacher should heat the egg from the sides never from just the bottom, this allows a solid white to form while keeping the yolk liquid. Most poachers cook from the bottom up which leads to an over cooked egg. This poacher is the best one I’ve used in a long time, great value highly satisfied, if you love poached eggs this is a must, worth every dime.

This is a nice quality egg poaching set. The pan is heavy duty, the cups are nice and deep and I love the glass lid. I had my first egg this morning and it came out perfectly. I used a very small amount of butter in the cup and had absolutely no problem with the egg sticking.Clean up was easy. I've tried the silicon ones before and they ended up in the trash.

I wanted to try making my own poached eggs and wanted something that was fail proof. I received the product within 3 days of purchasing and was quite pleased. The pan arrived pre-assembled with all the parts included, which is not always guaranteed when buying online, so I was very happy about that. The pan was a good quality, heavy weight stainless steel, and the egg cups were deep enough to keep any of the yolk from spilling out and any of the water from flowing in when simmering. I've tried it a few times now and have not come across any issues. The eggs in each chamber always cook evenly and the clear lid makes it easy to keep an eye on what's happening in the pan. I would definitely recommend purchasing.
