I was skeptical about this at first, but it was really good and easy to prepare. There was more than enough for two people (we had one serving left). I would buy this again (especially for the sale price)!

My son turned 13 and I decided it was time for him to know more about cooking (other than burritos, eggs & top ramen). I bought this meal kit for that purpose (Note this was the first time I'd purchased one). It was GREAT!! Everything is measured out and the instructions started with the item that took longest then to shortest; directions were easy to follow. The meal turned out great and we enjoyed talking about his experience while we ate. Most times I don't use recipes when cooking so it can be difficult to teach someone else the nuances of "to taste" or of just throwing stuff together that you've done 100 times before. I HIGHLY recommend this product as easy way to introducing someone to cooking meals.

Just get it

This dish is great. I’ve ordered it twice now. Great both times. Pretty easy to put together as the meat is premarinated and the risotto rice is precooked. Just needs the broth and cheese mixed it. I could eat this once a week

LOVED IT!! I even bought it again a couple days later! the only thing that I find a bit weird is that the chicken is marinated already, I wish it wasn't, I like to wash my chicken before I prepare it..

This is just good in general, but $5? insane deal

This is just good in general, but $5? insane deal. I must have caught a sale. $5 for 2 servings of food? How is this possible? Price aside, this is just in general GOOD. Cheesy aborio rice and snap peas, and crispy pan fried, marinaded chicken. its basically impossible to mess that up from both an ingredients and a cooking skill standpoint. So high probability regardless of the situation its going to be great. This particular kit "eats" like a much more expensive meal from hellofresh, plated etc which retail at $20+ per 2 serving meal. That on top of my purchase price of $5? this is literally too good to be true.

This is a yummy meal and VERY easy to make. My family loves it. A good price point too.

Got this for $5 and wow it was so tasty. I'm a college student and I know how to cook quite well, so getting this for cheap was a hit and since it is made for two people I got leftovers too. Definitely recommend! I would still get it at full price in the future too.

The only thing I'm not in love with is how long it took to prepare

I'm very impressed with my first meal kit from Amazon. The only thing I'm not in love with is how long it took to prepare, around 45 minutes. Even though, I'll definitely be having this one again. The pre-marinated chicken, well done risotto recipe and the fresh snap peas all came together nicely. I've been using HelloFresh for the last few months and I cancelled it and decided to try something else. HelloFresh meals are nice but most of them are really pretty simple meals. Nice thing about those is that they almost always can be prepared in 30 minutes or less. I paid full price but some of the comments look like some people got it for $5! The chicken alone is worth more than $5. Guess I'll need to keep my eyes open for sale specials.

Taste and texture - 5 stars!

The funny thing is, when I was making this, I didn't think I was going to like the end result. But, I was wrong! It is delicious! The chicken is crispy. The peas were fresh. The risotto is creamy, without adding cream or milk, just the parmesan cheese. It makes 3 smaller servings - or two pretty large servings. We would definitely buy this again!
