I am currently using this system in a greenhouse at a community a garden in which I have a table amongst 10. On my table I have approximately 15 plants (after expanding it since it only comes equipped to supply water for only 10 from the manufacturer) and it has been performing flawlessly for approx. 2 months now, which I will update in this review when something changes. I have a 55 gallon plastic drum for a reservoir next to my table and the unit is powered via a micro usb phone charger. Although it probably could supply water to maybe two more plants I've decided to purchase a second one to double my production since I still have adequate space for expansion.

Are you growing indoors or in a grow tent? Would you like to automate watering of one or many plants? Do you not want to change batteries all the time? If this sounds like you-- then this is your product. Here are a few tips from my recent install: The water pump clips onto the side of a bucket so you can use any sized water source. The included drippers are pretty lousy. Don't plan on using them-- instead, use any 1/4 inch drip emitter you would use in any other drip irrigation setup. For my indoor vegetable garden I found that a simple 1/2 GPH drip emitter was just right. Package includes a micro to regular USB cable-- for power. A power strip that accepts USB or a USB-to-wall plug is all you need. Programming is very simple and straightforward.

I love this little pump. It works great. I'm using it for for two purposes: 1) Watering Plants 2) Adding water to my chicken incubator to manage humidity Once you understand how it works, then you can it works like a charm. There are two main settings: 1) Pump Time: water pumped in seconds 2) Interval Time: measured in hours (up to 12) or days (up to 30) And for every 4 seconds of pump time, the system pumps out approximately 1 ounce of water. So in my example with the chicken incubator, I needed 4 ounces of water added to the incubator daily. So my settings were as follows: Pump Time: 4 (4 means four seconds) Interval Time: 0.6 (0.6 means every six hours) Essentially, I pumped for 4 seconds, every 6 hours. 4 seconds of pump time equals 1 ounce, so I'm pumping 1 ounce every 6 hours. So in 24 hours, I'm getting 4 ounces automatically pumped. Super cool! One less thing to manage :) The email customer support for this product was also very helpful and responsive. I recommend this product to anyone planting or needing to manage humidity in an incubator.

Purchased mainly because life can get so hectic that watering plants is often overlooked. Setup can be daunting, all the pieces seem like a jigsaw puzzle, so it's good to map things out on paper prior to setup since the instructions leave much to be desired. To make it easy on your fingers, boil some hot water and use that to soften the hose when attaching the valves. Make sure the programmable unit & plants are above the water source, to avoid gravity siphoning water into your plants. After initial setup using the included parts, it was encouraging to see that this did water my plants for a month. Highly recommend testing in a sink or bathtub to verify all drips are working. Also, before going on vacation, experiment over several days to make sure it is not watering too much or too little. Use a clear container to verify that water is being pulled consistently. It took me a few weeks to figure what settings worked best for my own needs which was 26 seconds every 2 days. After making sure it worked over time, I upgraded using an expansion kit including drip sickles with output control and more cross valves. Now I have this unit setup to disperse water to 18 plants. I use water from water stores or dispensary machines since my local tap water can contain excess minerals and clog the drippers. For the same reason of avoiding clogging, I fertlize manually outside of this irrigation system. My own schematics have been included, and hopefully will provide some guidance for your own setup.

This little unit is awesome. Once you figure out how to use it (which doesn't take long), it's amazing. I love this thing. It saved my plants on a recent week long vacation. I've actually started just using this for all my normal watering sessions instead of a watering can because I can easily measure and evenly distribute the water with this unit. I use it with a 5 gallon bucket and it clips on to the side very nicely. I just drop the intake hose with filter down to the bottom and let it do it's thing. I find that it pumps out about 1 gallon every 9 minutes that it's running. I've used it with various configurations (different numbers of drippers, different numbers and lengths of hoses, etc.) and it stays around the 1 gallon per 9 minutes rate. I bought some different drippers to use instead of the ones it comes with because they are a bit finicky. They are certainly serviceable, no doubt about that, but I got a 50 pack of ones with adjustable heads that are just skinny vertical spikes and those work better in my opinion. All in all, I am VERY happy I bought this thing. I absolutely love it and I really can't imagine being without it now.

We used this to water while we were away for a month. It watered from 10 different ports which came with the set. You have to read the directions to figure out how to set it but it ran all month from one five gallon bucket of water. It was not plugged into the wall and these were new plant starts so we ran it a tiny bit like every other day. Everything looked beautiful when we returned and there was still a bit left in the bucket. I would definitely buy this again!

I purchased this item to water some plants while we were going on vacation. It arrived on time with plenty of hose and connectors to do several plants at the same time. It took me a little while to understand the set up instructions but the customer service was excellent, promptly replying to my email and even provided a video to help with the programing. The watering time was easy and adjustable from 1 second to 99 seconds. FYI…..1 minute on delivers about 1/2 litter of water. The watering interval was a little more difficult for me to understand. First off, if you want to water at 10 am in the morning, you must do the programming at 10am. The clock starts at the time you set up the program and is not adjustable. The interval button cycles first on hours then days so 0.1 waters every hour, 0.5 every 5 hours and so on up to 1.2 which is every 12 hours or twice a day. Then it advances by days, 1 is every day, 5 is every 5 days, up to 30 which is once every 30 days. I didn’t want to bother changing batteries so I used the USB cable provided and plug the unit into a standard 5 volt UBS wall charger. It’s also a good idea to place the unit at the same height as the plants to avoid the siphon effect and not stress the pump by having it pump up hill against gravity. All in all, this product worked great and we use it all the time now and never have to remember when to water or how much to use. I recommend this item to anyone who wants to keep their plants healthy whether they’re home or away.

Kept my plants alive while away on vacation!

I am updating my review to five stars, since the manufacturer shipped me a unit that did NOT have a flawed chip; this unit (my third) works perfectly. This is a clever and helpful product, but on EACH of the two I purchased the interval timer did not work correctly. No matter if I set the interval for once a day, once every ten days, or once a month, the pump engaged at least once an hour, meaning that the water container would be emptied way too early. TWO of us read the instructions and did the programming separately on each of the two units. We watched the provided video and youtube videos --- the units did not function as intended. I suspect a batch of flawed chips in the manufacturing. Too bad, because this would have been a superb product otherwise. The people behind this product have agreed to send me a working and tested replacement, which shows integrity and confidence, and I will eagerly change the review to FIVE STARS if it works properly,
