I adore this tank. It’s very affordable, and I’m elated to see a betta tank that is a humane size AND has a filter and accommodates a heater, but it’s still stylish like many lesser nano tanks, and a perfect smaller footprint so you don’t need a huge area to put it. The filter is very quiet, and I love that it’s inset beneath the lid instead of back hanging or under gravel. The LEDs are super bright and work perfectly. My java fern seem to be doing well under the light. My betta loves resting in the crowds of leaves. When I first started the filter I thought it would be too strong for a betta, but I realized it was just ejecting the water out the top while it primed. Once it was operating properly the flow comes out in a lower slit under the filter media, which has a nice gentle current. I never see my betta struggling against it, but it does gently stir the plants. For the price this is the perfect betta tank for a conscientious owner.

Love this tank best one I have bought so far! I was a little scared about the noise of the filter because I'm putting it on my night stand but no noise what so ever. The lighting is perfect and I'm just in love with it. Perfect size as well, the feeding hole on the top makes it so easy to feed in the mornings and not having to open the lid.

Bob, our Betta Fish, seems very happy to be out of his glass bowl, he likes his new palatial palace. Set up was pretty easy & the directions were straightforward. We will also be adding in a small heater & a "Betta Leaf Hammock". The filter seems very gentle & quiet. This Tank w/filter + the Glo Gravel in white, silk plant, betta log, Luffy Moss balls, Betta Mineral balls, a submersible heater, a hanging thermometer & a leaf hammock came to about $80 with shipping. But now we have one very Happy $6 Betta fish :)

An awesome aquarium, my little betta and buddies really like it. A very quiet filter (sometimes it does make an annoying buzzing sound but usually I put more water in the tank and it goes away), perfect size to fit on top of my little bookshelf (would look pretty cool on a vanity/desk as well). I will say that having a goldfish on the image is very false, goldfish would need a much bigger tank, they would not live happy in this aquarium, suitable for bettas only. My aquarium houses 1 male betta, 2 cherry shrimp, and one mystery snail. Looks awesome, keeps my live plants healthy too. I will say that the filter current does seem a little strong for a betta, but he usually will rest in the plants. The aquarium also came with an easy to read manual with set up and how-to’s, as well as a water conditioner and some aqueon fish food (which I don’t use this for my betta but I appreciate these things being included). Is definelty worth buying online compared to in store (they usually jack up the price in pet stores)

2 Weeks in: Great Tank. Finally got to getting my betta, Old Man Buckuke, a new home to move into from his small bowl, and he was very excited the moment he got in, immediately became lively again. I was most impressed by how quiet it was, you can only hear it if you are intentionally listening for it. The 2.5 size is very nice, big enough that Buckuke is very happy and able to move around so freely and small enough that it sits nicely in the corner of our living room. It also has plenty of space for a heater (I bought the "Tetra HT Submersible Aquarium Heater With Electronic Thermostat" which has done its job well for the last 2 weeks), which I'm sure is part of what has made Old Man so happy. I got the white tank and bought a divider since reviews said that the filter damaged their fish's fins and since I heard horror stories of heaters burning fishes, but Old Man got really hyper after moving in so he hopped the fence, I found him the next day curiously swimming around the filter, after inspection he seemed to have no injuries and liked hiding under the filter so after unsuccessfully keeping him on the other side of the divider after many tries (guys, I'm still not sure how he made it over, this Houdini or Jackie Chan), I took the divider away. He likes to play in the filters current but he is a bit old and a little blind so the filter does catch the food away faster than he can eat but a "betta feeding ring" fixed that by containing his food nicely. The white tank is very pretty and has made watching him swim around very fun, and the filter does a great job of keeping the water clean and clear.

I love this tank and so does my sweet Casper. He has so much room to move about. The filter is VERY quiet and the flow isn’t too powerful. One thing I did do was put a Fluval Edge Pre-Filter sponge on the intake tube so his fins didn’t get sucked in. I definitely recommend this product and will definitely be buying another one for my other betta! :) Update: I ordered another one for my other betta. It’s just as quiet as the first one I ordered and there were no scratches or anything on the tank itself. I also added the same Fluval Edge Pre-Filter sponge on the intake tube of the new tank just like I did with the first one. I’m not sure why so many people are saying the filter is loud. Maybe I got lucky? Either way, I love the tanks and I’m so happy my bettas also love their new homes. :)

This is a perfect little tank for a beta. I changed the water after 2 months and only the filter was getting a little green. The water and the tank itself all still looked perfectly clean! I also love how you can feed the fish without taking the lid off. Highly recommend!

I actually just returned the panoramic fish tank for this one and I’m so glad. The led lights are really bright and make the tank look crisp. Also the top isn’t sitting right on top of the water and there is room for cords in the back. The other tank had lights that changed color but they were surprisingly very dingy looking. Yes the filter probably isn’t really strong but that’s perfect for my betta because they don’t prefer a strong current. It is a nice little tank that lets him swim around happily.

I love these aquariums! In the past year I’ve purchased one for each of my three bettas and they seem very happy in their 2.5 gallon homes. I waited and bought them when they were on sale and $20-25 is a great deal for these. I love that there’s a light and a filter. The filter is quiet which is nice since I have them in my bedroom and it doesn’t disturb me. If the water level isn’t high enough, the filter seems a little too much for the betta, but if you keep the water where it’s supposed to be, they seem very content. Although, if your betta is a baby or slower eater (like two of mine), I recommend turning the filter off when feeding. Still, a great tank and start up kit as far as aquariums for bettas/a couple tropical fish go.

My six-year-old asked for fish for Christmas last year. This was a perfect tank for our first venture into home aquaria. It has worked out pretty well. You'll need a heater if you want to have tropical fish, but otherwise the kit is complete. Some people complain that the filter is too strong, but it doesn't seem to bother our glow fish. Changing the filter is a snap. And cleaning isn't too onerous, though there are a few areas around the top edge that can be challenging. This has been so successful that we just ordered another one for our nine-year-old, who wants to have her own fish.
