Almost identical to the original n64 controller. Nice stiff buttons and clicks and smooth joystick rotation. Also possesses the expansion bay for rumble and memory card but it NON-FUNCTIONING. But this is expected so don't expect to have the rumbly bumblies between your thumblies. Easy plug and play, requires no additional installation for anything.

Perfect for playing N64 ROMs with. Haven't had any issues since I set it up properly.

Once we did some digging for the right settings and drivers, this joystick wound up working pretty well. It's not perfect, and seems to struggle when you try to move the character to the upper right, though, so it probably needs more troubleshooting. I wouldn't recommend this item to anyone who's not so great with computers or doesn't want to spend at least 30 minutes looking up how to get it running properly.

Having owned an N64, I was a little skeptical of how good this controller would be, particularly due to the analog stick since even on original units the stick could become loose quite easily from regular use. Well, safe to say that as soon as I held this control I was instantly transported back to simpler times, the control feels great, the buttons have a great click to them and the analog stick itself is very high quality. The original controller has ridges along the inside of the analog stick, this one does not but it works well just the same. The finish on the control is different to the original but it does not detract from gameplay at all. For the price I paid, I honestly could not be happier.

Pokemon fever has once again descended upon our home. Attempts to catch em' all have surpassed all reason, shattering any attempts at bedtime. Like any good Pokemon trainer, I took stock of my inventory: Pokedex, check; Pokeballs, check, N64 USB controller that allows me to play Pokemon Stadium and Pokemon Snap - NOT CHECK! Other retailers who's name rhymes with "SameGtop" charge exorbitant prices for these essential tools. How is a beginner Pokemon trainer supposed to afford that? So I decided to check online and WOW, these controllers are a bargain! They're sturdy, familiar, and easy to just plug in and play! Now I can play Pokemon Stadium with my friends (I have friends...) and continue on my quest to become: A POKEMON MASTER!!!1!!

Going to start off by saying I paid full price for this controller and was not asked to write a review. The controller feels exactly as I remember it, all my buttons seem ok. Played about 4 hours with it so far and have had no issues. I use the controller with Project64. It was not a true plug and play for me. When I plugged it in I did have to go into controller settings and map each button. Took about 2 minutes lol. And now it works perfectly. For $12 I'm satisfied. Some other reviews say feels weak in there hands. I think it feels ok.. I mean I'm much stronger then my 10 year old self but that doesn't mean I can just crack it in half when playing. If you want to play Nintendo 64 games on ur computer this one will do the trick

Hesitant to give 5 stars but this controller is better versus the Retro Bit brand. You will probably want to buy extensions for each controller. Once you futz with the settings on your computer you should be able to eliminate any lag. These controllers feel very much like the originals, the only thing is the A button is a little bit louder, but it's no biggie.

After several attempts to find a good N64 controller and almost giving up, I rolled the dice on this. It actually works the way it's supposed to! Very happy with the product. Will order more.
